The first time we went back, end of September 2023, the waitress and food was excellent. We returned the first week of October (smh) and the service was pretty good (Melany R) but kept having to ask for things. The burger was dry. Has to ask for strawberries for the strawberry lemonade (instead of just syrup). When we were almost done and we wanted to get some of the strawberries out, this is what we saw! I am only here to write this review because of the staff, they are the real stars. Last night was a particularly interesting one with a decently major car accident outside the establishment. My whole table went out to make sure no one was seriously injured or anything; the staff was kind enough to give us a discount on our meal as they said good deeds deserved recognition. I was very happy to pay full price for my meal but was very surprised and thankful for the sweet gesture. Food is what you expect from ihop, breakfast at 2am after a night out is a win always! Came here on the weekend and the wait to get seated wasn't too bad. After we got seated, the waitress took our order within a reasonable time. About 30 min passed by, and I noticed people who sat after us were already served their food and others almost finished their food before our food was even served! I ordered a steak omelette. They finally brought our food after about a 30-35 min wait, and what I got served was an omelette with broken up pieces of a hamburger patty. A hamburger patty is NOT steak! I don't know if they ran out of steak and tried to substitute it for a hamburger patty, but that is unacceptable and they should have ran it by me first rather than serving me a substitute that I didn't agree to! The restaurant needs to re-train their staff members. Our waitress Jennifer seems to have a habit of lying about the milkshakes. She told us they completely ran out of ice cream. Moments later, I see a table get served a chocolate milkshake. I made eye contact with her and she came straight over and said "looks like they actually did a last minute run and we now have ice cream, did you still want to order a milkshake?" We know a couple of former workers from iHOP. Apparently Jessica tends to lie about not having ice cream that way, she doesn't have to make the milkshakes!!!! Next was our appetizer which never came out. We received our drinks, main food and never got the appetizers...once i asked for the check I told her to take them off and she responded with "oohhh i forgot them huh...". When going up to the counter to pay, we saw a plate of mozzarella cheese sticks with other plates of food. That probably explains why our food tasted so dry....the plates were most likely sitting there for a while. Haven't been to this location since they closed to renovate. I like the new updated interior yet welcoming. We tried the new buttermilk biscuit menu items. Unfortunately, they didn't look like the menu pictures. My mom's Fresh Strawberries & Cream Biscuit Combo was missing the whipped cream and cheesecake mousse should have been ladled on. Looks like they had it in a squeeze bottle and it looks like mayo. It tasted better than it looked. I tried the Buttermilk Biscuit & Gravy Combo. Biscuit was good but gravy needs a lot of work. Needs to be thicker to cling to the biscuit. The gravy was too thin and just dropped off. Also needs more seasoning and sausage crumbles would push it over the top. Had breakfast here with my family a few weeks ago on a rainy Saturday morning. We figured it was a good idea since we haven't been here in quite a while and breakfast is usually pretty decent. That day, I have to say the only good thing we had was the coffee and the French toast. For a place being known for its pancakes, they really need improvement on that item. The pancakes were just really dry, even the syrup didn't help, plus the prices are so high now when you dine out-you're better off having breakfast elsewhere. Probably won't be back for a while. I just finished having a truly wonderful breakfast experience! I had to bring my car to a nearby dealership early this morning. I decided to find some food while I waited. I walked into IHOP and was immediately greeted and seated by Jose. A minute later, he brought my drink and took my order. He was an absolute joy to have as my server! He is very friendly and seems to enjoy his work. He was great with everyone in my section of the dining room. Every time he passed by, he checked in with me to see if I needed anything. He was quite busy but he did an excellent job! I ordered the Colorado omelette with crispy hash browns. It came out quickly and was very well made! I love the combination of tender roast beef with all the breakfast meats. Jose was very helpful with bagging up my leftovers with a fork and condiments so I could eat the rest for lunch if I was still waiting at the dealership when I got hungry again! I don't live in this area but I will definitely visit this IHOP again whenever I'm nearby! read more

This IHOP location is my sentimental favorite for a traditional breakfast. In my youth, I remembered IHOP sounded impressive as the "International House of Pancakes." Spies must eat here I thought. When I registered for a table and they asked my name, I would say "that's classified" and the server would politely laugh. Today, IHOP remains a popular place and it was crowded when I visited. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, hash browns, pancakes, and coffee. The food was delicious and the server was attentive. There is a parking lot and it gets crowded on weekends. If I could give zero stars I would. The manager Charlie was very rude and has terrible customer service. Upon paying he was arguing with a customer in front of us as well as other customers waiting to be seated. When it was our turn to pay he was unfriendly and rude. After spending almost a bill here you would think you would get good customer service considering it's the customers keeping you in service. I will be calling corporate on Monday when they are open to explain detail. It is inexcusable to be disrespected by a manager or any team member in that case. The staff and waiters were super friendly and were very accommodating. However, the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. The AC was not turned on and it is 98 degrees out. Apparently it's been "not working" for 6 months now since the change in owners? Our table was right next to the kitchen which made it even worse. We were drenched in sweat before our food even made it to the table. We politely asked one of the servers to move to a table with better ventilation and the staff said they've figure something out. Our waitress came with our food and the manager was along her side. We informed her that we had requested another table before she set the food down. The manager accused of us of lying and said we never requested anything. It was so uncomfortable that the party at the table next to us jumped into say that they heard us request another table. The manager angrily walked away saying he'd deal with it when he's done dealing with all the other complaints. Once we were finally moved to another table the manager said "there. Hope they're happy that they got moved to a table that is 3 degrees cooler." His attitude and behavior were so out of line that the waitress apologized for how he was acting. If you refuse to turn on the AC on a 98 degree day, at least inform your potencial customers so they can make decide to stay or not. We've been coming to this ihop for years, but won't be coming back due to the temperature and management.
