Our waitress was very lazy and inattentive. She said "if y'all want sweet tea, it's out." We got here at 8:15pm and when we left they locked the doors at 9:23pm when they close at 10pm. These clowns lost my credit card. Gave it to the server with my check and never saw it again. Staff ran around the place looking for it. After an hour of waiting, and only two visits from the so called manager to update us, said they would "call me if they found it." Wouldn't even give me something in writing that they lost it so it's my word against theirs. While I had to cancel my card and wait for another to be delivered, all they could do was comp my meal. To top that, all of the servers were huddled up talking about how easy it was to stop my card from being used, and that all I had to do was to have my bank overnight me a replacement, etc., and that I was making a big deal about it was the icing on the cake to this experience. read more

So I just order and picked up a curb side order. Ordering went great and easy through the mobile app. Upon arrival at this location. I park in the curb side number 2 packing spot and called the store like the sign said to do so. I had to call the number three times before someone answered and the first two times the phone just rung and rung than hung up both times. One the third try of calling Jenn answered the phone and was very rude. She was short and snippy and was huffing. Like it was some big problem she had to do her job. Than when she brought my order to my truck. She looked at me and my truck huffed and said really as she walked in front of my truck. Than when she got to my window that was down she practically threw my order at me. I said thank you and she replied with yeah and stormed off back into the store. Stopped in for breakfast/lunch with my family and it was a delightful experience. Jade was AMAZING! She was so friendly, fast and efficient. Food was delicious and the drinks were constantly full and overall experience was 10/10!!!! I will definitely return to this location. read more

One word - Disgusting! Moved to a second table because first one was so dirty. Ordered pancakes that were so hard they could've cracked tile. My oatmeal came out in a bowl lined with old coffee. I asked for a manager and no one could figure out who the manager on duty was. read more

Food was good and service was good until the end of my visit. I gave the waitress my credit card and she took it without a folder to make the transaction(it didn't bother me) she then came back with a whole ton of receipts in a folder but not my credit card. She started to look around (she was not nervous at all) she still did not find it after a solid 10 minutes passed. Once she handed it back to me I was relived but I still had to call and cancel my card because anyone could have easily taken a picture of it where she had left it and I rather be safe that sorry. Only reason for two stars is the manager on duty. My 2x2x2 came out wrong with bacon and bot the sausage I ordered. It apparently takes an act of Congress to get a side of Nutella. I was not angry or rude. After 10 minutes trying to get Nutella, never getting my sausage finally asked the server for the check and he frigging tosses it on the table with an attitude. I'm sorry bit how is ANY of this my fault? I didn't realize that getting what I order at a restaurant is an unreasonable expectation. The manager took care of the check and was very apologetic. Sloppy service $6.99 overcharge. Eggs not cooked properly. No thank you. Went into get free birthday roots toothy fresh and fruity. Not even free was worth the hassle. Refill on drinks took to request. This was at 4pm so they were not busy. Even the manager never offered an apology for what she said was a computer glitch. She said happens all the time! DUH! Doug W. mentioned recently how much he liked IHOP. We shopped at the outlet mall around lunch. It was just meant to be that we ate here. We arrived around 2 pm so there was a lot of cleaning up going on around us (shift change I suppose). Overall the restaurant was clean (even the syrups). The staff was friendly and we were seated promptly. The highchair could have been cleaner (goes for almost any restaurant). We ordered standard stuff: pancakes, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, corned beef hash. My scrambled eggs were sub-par. Seemed like they had been ready first and were under a heat lamp while every thing else was cooking. I wish they had real maple syrup. They have several syrup flavors but it is all just fancy corn syrup. So bring your own syrup and skip the eggs and everything else will be great. read more

This was my home I Hop for the longest time, lived literally 5 minutes away & always wanted to frequent it late at night (before they extended there hours). One thing that got me hooked was the Harvest Grain & Nut pancakes which fortunate for me are always on the menu. Unfortunate for the one I was with...he fell in love the country crepes, stuffed with ham pieces, crumbled bacon, scrambled sausage, eggs, hash browns & sour cream then wrapped in a light, thin, pancake. Mmmm they sure were tasty, but a seasonal item that they have yet to bring back since then. However, I'm not complaining...they always have what I'm looking for. Come to this location on a weekend & expect a horrid wait, but come here late at night & you'll be full & satisfied! : - ) read more

My group of friends thought that this place would be a great way to spend our Friday night together, bad idea. They were advertising an offer for a free stack of pancakes if you signed up with their email program. They had 3 different signs advertising this deal. My friend did the deal as a good way to save money. We got up to the counter to pay for our meal and then they proceeded to tell my friend that ihop offers no such deal. My friend specifically asked before hand if he could use this coupon and the server lied to him. Now my friend is out a 6$ he shouldn't be. The worst part of this was that the manager and the server were rude with how they presented everything. Isabella and Titus were very rude and it gave us a bad experience. read more

I'm disappointed that my first review has to be a bad one, but after multiple dining sessions here, not one comes to mind in a pleasant way. My most recent experience included a disheveled manager (seemingly flailing about the dining area in attempts to grasp both her staff and customers, while in garb unbefitting of regular IHOP uniform), and a rag tag staff that was either highly inexperienced, highly unmotivated, or possibly just high. Our original server was well and hospitable(thank you for that), but there were others that brought out food that was not well cooked. I sent back a wrong order and for what should've taken less than a few minutes, became more like fifteen because communication between the employees was so terrible that my food sat in a window the whole time without my server knowing. I don't recommend dining at this certain establishment until they get their act together. read more

I can only give this particular waitress a negative review. My husband and I go pretty often and never have an issue. I decided to go in with my 3 kids tonight just for fun after shopping. We were sat in the back corner near an exit, cool, not a huge deal. The waitress took our orders and had the food brought to us. I had asked for jalapeños on my omelette and extra cheese sauce. I got neither of those so I asked for a cup FOUR TIMES and still never got what I asked for. So after sitting for a solid 25 minutes waiting and asking once more I told my kids let's go. Upon our waiting at the front desk to pay, I hear our waitress tell the people in the back "I can't cash these people out because they are mad". Yes, I was extremely aggravated by the fact that I had to keep asking to get something so simple to the point of my food got cold and I no longer wished to finish it. Then to hear her running her mouth because she provided less than service. No thanks. My husband manages a bar and has been in the hospitality business for years so I get it and we typically tip VERY well because we get it. We even respect when a server gives us the "I'm so sorry guys! It's been one of those days" line. It shows accountability. However, I was EXTREMELY disappointed tonight. We still plan to go back to ihop because it alone is wonderful as well as other servers we have had but I will refuse to deal with this particular one next time. read more

We went IHOP in Dawsonville, GA across GA400 from the outlet mall this evening. Before ordering anything, I showed a e-coupon in cell phone and asked the waitress if she would accept the coupon. The coupon stated buying one entree and 2 drinks get the second entree free. She took a close look and said YES. Even though we did not really want any drink, but to use the coupon, we ordered 2 ice tea. At end of the meal, she sent the ticket to us and told us the cashier would apply the coupon and adjust the total amount. But when we check out at frond desk, the cashier (could be store manager) refused to apply the e-coupon, stating "it has to be printout so I can staple them together". We explained we inquired with the waitress before ordering anything and got confirmed that it would work, and that was the reason we ordered 2 drinks. This lady still firmly said NO. So in the end, we could not use the coupon, and paid more on the order for 2 unwanted tea! This should not be the way doing business. It's like trick customers to make money. I'd remind any one going to this restaurant to be careful before ordering anything. I think I will never go back this IHOP:( read more

My spouse & I went in there during early evening & found the establishment wasn't busy; about 7 tables occupied. However, we're told that it would be about a 10-15 minute wait to be seated. Another woman, with her son, comes in after us & asks about special had for the day. Then, I made remark "this is why we're being made to wait in an 'empty' restaurant; so they don't have to provide the special". The middle-aged hostess becomes VERY DEFENSIVE & says "no, that's not it all". We leave. My spouse goes back in to get my glasses left on bench. He says that she had nothing to say to him. read more

Lynn was my server at this Ihop, and She was fast and courteous. This was my 5th visit to this Ihop, and I have noticed a remarkable improvement. I am not sure if they got new cooks, but the food is so much better than it used to be there. I would recommend the breakfast to anyone. Enjoy! read more

What an experience! My husband, grandson and I went to IHOP on 8/16/2013. It took awhile for someone to get our drink order and went downhill from there. My husband ordered the fried chicken plate with a side salad ~~ he ordered Italian dressing. I ordered the chicken quesadilla without green pepper. The waitress said that it came with a side salad ~~ I ordered ranch dressing. Our grandson ordered the mini pancakes, eggs and bacon. The waitress came back a few minutes later and said that mine didn't come with the side salad. It came with hashbrowns, fresh fruit or pancakes....so, I ordered pancakes. She finally brought the chicken plate (dark, dark brown chicken) and mini pancake plate and my pancakes. .... a little while later she brought my plate which was some kind of omelet.. I didn't really look at it until after she walked away. All this time we still had no syrup for the pancakes.. Had to remind her about the syrup and husbands side salad. When my husband got up and finally found her to let her know that it wasn't correct....it was like she didn't know what to do. She had to go see her manager. She came back to the table brought his salad with ranch dressing and took the omelet away and said the quesadilla would be up shortly. I said to my husband, I bet they have peppers in it... and that is exactly what happened. again the waitress was dumbfounded as to what to do. I told her I wanted to see the manager. The manager came to the table and was already aware of the mix-up...but not aware of the peppers. I decided to just pick the pepper off ...didn't want to risk something else going wrong. She did comp the meal but I would have rather paid for it and had a good meal.. oh, well....It will be awhile before we visit this IHOP again. Let's be realistic. Your experience is largely up to you with entry level sit down dining. My wife and I have been going to this location for years about 5x/year. Their menu seems to be prepared and presented in a way that shows they are following procedures (good management). The quality of the food is consistently good plus offers variety and value. The staff is great during normal to moderate business levels and our servers always treat us kindly and seem committed to ensuring we enjoy our meal. I've seen a couple servers struggle when they have a 10 party table but I'd recommend being cautious on passing judgment in those conditions unless you have done it before yourself. To summarize, we go here as they are the best breakfast choice in town! read more
