I only get to go after work which is at like 10. Today I was going with a friend who got off at 12. They are advertised as open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday, so that means 12 am Friday to 11:59 PM Saturday right? No. They're open 18 hours Friday (open at 6am) and close at midnight on Saturday. It as our first time there today. What an experience we had for the first time. First off they asked for our drinks. I ordered a lemonade and my husband ordered coffee with cream. The lemonade came with no straw. I asked our Server Vicky for a straw she said No but gave me one anyways. I don't play when I am hungry. My husband ordered a patty melt with onion rings I ordered some chicken sandwich with fries. He asked for it medium rare. Of course out came our server with backup to tell him he can't have it medium rare it is against policy. My husband said fine he just did not want it burnt up. Our food finally arrived and I looked at my plate and it had rings on it not fries. I said were are my fries? She went back to get them. My husband asked for mustard and had to ask someone else 5 minutes later for it. I was almost done eating when my salty fries arrived. Not one fry was without salt. The pAtty melt was salty also. Sorry we wasted our time and money. We were sat yet others seated after us were given water before us, orders taken before ours. We were sitting close to 15 minutes before we were even given water. hmmm, wtf. So lowkey the raspberries were fire BUT the pancake literally was rock solid. The biscuits and gravy were purchased from Toys r Us and reheated in the microwave and served to me. The food was at least decent, but wouldn't recommend this to anyone nor would I want to come back. The service was alright with our server saige but their was another young lady with darker hair that seemed to just be half doing her job when it was getting packed and the kitchen was slow as ever. She was just demanding people but not doing her job. And I wish I could have customized my order a lot better but that wasn't an option I don't know just seems like a rip-off. Yikes, this place has become a joke from what it once was. The service was fantastic in the past, friendly,caring, fast. Now you'll have to wait 10 minutes to be seated while the place is fairly empty. The food lacks any taste, and just looks bland. The server that attended us was nice, but we had ran out of water and the multiple times they passed they would eye our table and ignore the cups of water placed at the edge of the table, we eventually had to ask a different waiter for water. Our waiter also never checked up on us after serving us, people in my party did have some comments they wanted to address on the food but could never as the waiter never made an appearance until the end when we where given the check. read more

Went to IHOP last night with my family and it was awful. We used to go there several times a week but that won't happen again the device was very slow, the food was cold and it took 20 minutes to get our whole order. When we did get the food it was cold.time to say goodbye to IHOP. The new staff stinks!!!!!!! $34.00 is just too much to pay for this kind of service. This was a solid IHOP experience. We came here on a day when the short stacks were only a dollar and had a nice family Brinner. The service was quick, the people were all very friendly and the pancakes were fluffy and fabulous. I would definitely say that of the IHOP's I have been to this one is one of the better ones. Haven't been to an IHOP in a long time and this one made me glad I returned. The menu (all new to me, of course) had some nice healthy options as well as the classic comfort goodies. The only IHOP close to Yakima, since that location was closed and demolished. Came here a few days ago driving back from Seattle. Employees were pleasant and good. I had my usual - two pancakes, hash browns, eggs, sausage. The pancakes were just OK. The bottoms seemed overcooked. Should have asked for a replacement, but I didn't. The sides were good. Location was clean. They have changed the intercom music to Sirius-XM "The Blend", which is mostly lite rock music. read more

I ate here for breakfast on my birthday and was less than satisfied with my service. First, the coffee wasn't close to hot and then, it had grinds in it. When my boyfriend and I asked for creamer but were then informed they didn't have any other than (room temperature) plain creamer packets. When was the last time an iHop didn't have at least 3 different flavors of creamer to choose from? I asked for a small glass of chocolate milk to add to our coffees and the waitress was completely dumbfounded by my request. She brought me a small container (usually for syrup) of chocolate milk. Didn't do much. My boyfriend ordered strawberry pancakes and I got french toast. The food was about the same as every other iHop, but I was completely thrown off by the coffee. read more

Traveling home after a week vacation in Othello we needed breakfast before the 5 hour trip. Stopped in at this IHOP and it was busy! Homecoming Weekend and the servers were hopping. Husband ordered but for whatever reason my breakfast was missed. Wasn't long after that the Manager brought me my order and apologized for the delay as well as removing it from our bill. Came in to eat on a Monday morning, at 11am, and they were not busy at all. I was with 3 friends and we all ordered within 10 minutes of sitting down. We all waited 35 minutes, and then I asked a waitress where the food was. She said "It will be out in a couple minutes." 25 MINUTES later..... the manager comes over and says there's been a mix up with our food and it will be about 10 more minutes. He comped all of the food (about a $30 value.) I really did not appreciate them stalling by saying the food was going to come out, and our waitress didn't even check on us for over 40 minutes. We FINALLY get our food after waiting over and hour since we ordered, and my friend and I both got the Nutella banana crepes, and they were completely burnt on the bottom. Literally the worst breakfast experience I've ever had, service sucks, food is bad. I told them about the burnt crepes and they offered to make more, but who knows that could have taken another hour. Stopped here on October 30, 2017. Failed to get the name of the server as it was 6am and we were just getting our feet wet on our trip to southern Idaho from Seattle, first travel for our child who was turning 1 only 4 days later (the reason for the trip was her first birthday!) I remember he had longer hair as he had a bit of a man bun, and a fresh tattoo on his forearm. As we were the only customers in the store we were seated quickly near the kitchen. Waiter was right on top of our coffee, ice water for the little one, and getting our order in. As we have special food allergies for the baby and my husband it was a bit of a work up. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!! It was the best job anyone has done with our dietary needs. He brought extra plates so the baby could have more of everything she wanted, even extra sausage at no extra charge when she threw hers on the floor. When we were preparing to leave after settling the bill. He came back to us as I was preparing some formula for the baby and asked if he could get us some coffees to go! BOOM!!! First time we have ever had such an offer. Every trip we make to visit my family in Idaho we now plan to stop at iHop on our way instead of our usual gut-bomb breakfast from McD's on our way out of the city. read more

First off I'd like to say I try to be as understanding as possible when it comes to servers and hosts because I was a host and I have been a server as well...so It was busy. We waited to be seated and that was fine. Once seated our server came promptly and asked for drinks. It took a little bit to get the drinks but I understand she was busy. Then she took our order. She stopped by to bring us water we asked for and replaced the drink I didn't like. I think we waited 20-30 mins for food. Which I was understanding about because they were busy. The server didn't stop by to check on us other than to deliver drinks and food and the check. Once we were ready to pay we went up to the register and waited for someone to check us out. The host sat 2 tables before I had to say "are you able to work the register too?" Then she said she would get someone who can, because she could not. I gave a bad rating because our server could have tried to stop by slightly more and check on us. (She walked by at least 3 times running food, she could have said hey sorry the foods taking awhile, are your drinks doing ok? Or something.) Also, the host could have acknowledged us standing there waiting to pay. All it takes is a second to make sure a customer is doing ok and that makes them feel like they've had good customer service. read more

The excellent staff here saved my life this past Sunday morning!!! We made the mistake of being in the area the Sunday morning after a big concert at the Gorge. All other area breakfast joints were packed with an hour wait time downtown so we came to this I Hop. The place was packed, but we only had a 3-5 minute wait time and were served maybe 10 minutes later. Food was great, but really I want to commend the staff and our wait person on such excellent service, friendly, smiling faces, hot coffee and fresh water. This place really has the line thing down pat!! This seems basic, but in a lot of other places, these elements are sadly lacking. read more

I was a bit leery of this restaurant because my last few experiences at IHOPs were mediocre, at best. I was pleasantly surprised. The place is new and spotlessly clean and the service was quite good. My vegetable crepes were excellent, and my friend's chicken fried steak was pretty tasty, as well. IHOP should probably update some of its older restaurants and give them this brighter, more positive vibe. read more
