Had another great experience yesterday! We arrived at about 6:30 am. We were seated promptly due to it being early. The restaurant was very clean and ran efficiently. Our waitress Nikki, I hope I spelled it right was very attentive and professional. I ordered the ultimate as I always do and it was great. The wife had Nashville hot tenders and a waffle. It was really good also. They had the temperature of the restaurant on par. It was cold outside and nice and warm inside. Our experience was a good way to wrap up breakfast for the year. If you want to eat here then take these into consideration. Dinning in could be a 50/50 experience. You could either have a wonderful waiter/ waitress serve you. Checking up on you at least 2-3 times during the meal asking how we're doing and keeping the re-fills coming. While on the other hand you could have a waiter/ waitress barely doing the bare minimum. Never checking up on you after the food is brought and never doing refills. I would understand not being able to get to our table if the establishment was busy but during this circumstance on this one occasion there were only at best only 4 tables at the time with customers. Now that's just out right laziness and awful work ethic. I can also understand hating your job and not wanting to be there but that still doesn't excuse the lack of work ethic. Now ordering food to-go at this place I would never recommend anyone doing. I've done it multiple times and every time they've been inconsistent. Whether it be missing the gravy to my country fried steak or completely forgetting the pancakes in the literal pancake meal. They're also absolutely awful at cooking the food to order for pick up. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a longer grace period for when I pick up for the food but that still isn't enough. I end up waiting for another 30-40 minutes on top of waiting the 20 minute wait time that they give you. And again I try to give them the benefit of the doubt. "Maybe they're busy or low on staff" but it's not even close to that. If anything they were over staffed and barely had any customers for the time. With how inconsistent they are it would be faster if you went to the grocery store yourself to buy the ingredients and go home to prepare the food. Least favorite ihop location. As for the staff I know there are at least a couple of great workers there but for the ones that don't give a shit for their jobs. Lock in and do the bare minimum. The yt servers act mad that they have to tend to other races. I was at the counter 20 mins with them coming and going, it would be another 20 mins before being acknowledged my pick up was ready at 8:55am I didn't get it until 9:44. Quite possibly the slowest IHOP in GA, sittin in Griffin. So I started this morning off stopping a Waffle House. There were 2 waitresses and a cook with an empty restaurant but they could not serve me at a table since one of them was training. I say that to frame my attitude after that. So I drive down the road a bit and there is the IHOP. So I stop in. I was greeted and they actually wanted to serve me a breakfast! It was super early like 5:00 am. There were only a couple of people in there. Staff was friendly. Food ended up being the hottest and best cooked that I have ever had at an IHOP! If you are ordering because of the photos of the food you are being fooled by them. What you get is not what the photos show. I ordered the simple biscuit with a scrambled egg and bacon. First of all they delivered the food minus utensils. the biscuit was falling apart and the egg was an omelette not a scrambled egg and where was the bacon. Sucks Staff inexperienced Food greasy Order a cheese omelette, bacon, hashbrowns, toast. Got a hashbrown n bacon omelette with cheese on top and toast covered in some kind of oil. Tasted like oil out of the fryer. I questioned it and the waitress said "yeah I dont know why they did that" and walked off. Apparently thats what Im eating this morning. Posted this elsewhere but it needs to be said. I was there a few months ago and I just now figured out that I can review this place. Haven't been back. That Niki girl needs to be reevaluated. First of all, I can see the faces you make when you walk away and when you mutter rude stuff all because I asked for extra Splenda (my first request might I add!!!). And I know when you're talking about us to your other coworkers because reading facial expressions and body language was my job for about 20 years. And to the people in the kitchen, my grand babies don't need to hear all of that cussing and inappropriate language. We can hear it all. When y'all talk by the little order screens, we can hear it. We come here to eat and to enjoy family time. We don't need to know about your weed smoking habits and partying. ALSO the smell of weed is HEAVY at times as that Niki girl REEKED of it. And she isn't the only one. Y'all need drug testing. There's people in recovery that go there. There's children. Be smarter and more considerate. Also, I have seen that manager being rude to the employees. Professionalism is your job. They are not your little soldiers. They are your employees. Never EVER have I seen such coldness. These kids are just starting out life. You are going to scar them from ever wanting to work again. Maybe you wouldn't be so short staffed if you considered the health and feelings of your employees. I know it's hard to find GOOD HELP today. But at least they could've had a little smile on their face. The food was good but we felt like we were bothering them and keeping them from checking on Facebook friends. The Servers were very nice but the service was very slow, when i ordered my drink it took them at least 15 minutes to come back with my drink and the place wasn't even crowded. My husband had to drive 25 minutes back out of his way just to get them to answer the freaking phone. Which sugar level of service. Which is a POS. Hire people with a better attitude. HORRIBLE! DO NOT EAT HERE! The service is horrific! Ruined our family experience and we never eat out due to covid. Waitress took our orders didn't put the food in, then didn't give us silverware or syrup. And when she brought out the food she still forgot to put an order in and left a member at our table out, then left us alone with her attitude. The food was subpart, manager came out didn't offer any relief. Check the other reviews for this place they are NOT lying. Dirty location, and I mean that with cleansiness as well. We have breakfast with our grandfather as often as we can. His wife was placed into a nursing home and he's been very lonely. We try very hard to find places where it makes it as easy as possible to have a good time with him. Sina was the most kind, patient, and understanding server we have had in a long time. My grandfather is hard of hearing and left his hearing aids at home. She met every single need before we had the chance to ask. Genuine, whole-hearted kindness is so hard to come by these days. We have had servers who did just their job and nothing more. Sina went above and beyond our expectations and made our time so enjoyable. Sina should be a highly valued part of this team and if not already a shift lead or manager, should be highly considered. We will be back. We will ask for Sina! read more

So I came in with my fiancé and we waited for the seating which isn't an issue. The only issue was when I ordered my pancakes and hash browns it had food that look like it came from a dirty dish on it.
