I received a gift card for Christmas, so decided to take my husband for dinner on a Tuesday night. We were the only people in there besides the cook, the server and manager. We only saw one car in the parking lot so we were slightly concerned. We were seated immediately and our server took our drink order. This location does not have Diet Pepsi, it has been replaced with Pepsi zero. My husband ordered a western steak omelet and I ordered a grilled chicken breast with fries. Our food was really good! In all honesty, I have never been to an IHOP. It's kind of hard to believe. I went to this location recently because a few of the other places that I wanted to eat breakfast at that particular day had a substantial wait times. I ordered a spinach mushroom cheese omelette with a side of hashbrowns. Everything tasted great. I could only eat half of the omelette because it's just massive. I would guess that they used at least four eggs. Judging from the calorie count of around 900 + calories, that sounds about right. The coffee was weak tasting but I am very picky about my coffee and require it to be much stronger than on the weak and watery side. The service was friendly and attentive enough. They're missing a few items on their menu, like oatmeal and some specialty meals like eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy. I would consider going back. read more

So today after i have gotten off a long night of work, i get back to my home and decide i was hungry but too tired to actually cook anything for myself. i find myself craving a breakfast sandwich, after some time i decided to order some ihop. i got myself the chicken biscuit sandwich delivered to my place. now this review is keeping in mind the travel time and how it's not 'fresh out the oven' fresh so there is some differences. this sandwich was the definition of mid. it was chicken and it was in a biscuit, with a little bit of hash browns and a few pickles. no sauce. so yeah it's technically what i order and it wasn't bad per se. once again it was mid. so i added some chic fli a sauce and it did moisten the chicken a little and added more flavor but still mid. i say the worst part of the ordeal was the fact my hands feel greasy and gross as heck. so maybe keep a wet nap handy if you're eating this not near a place to wash your hands. I had one unique experience visiting IHOP the other day. My daughter had a basketball game and a handful of the girls wanted to go out to eat. IHOP was the first choice. We had a table of ten and we were seated very quickly. Our server was a nice young man who greeted us and worked with our multi-ticket table. At first, things were smooth sailing. Drink orders taken. Drinks delivered. Food orders taken. Food delivered. My daughter and her friend decided to split a large pancake order. It was smothered in a sauce and whipped cream. The server used his hand to slide the whipped cream off of the top of the stack and onto another plate. He then took that plate away. We still have no idea why he did that. The girls were disappointed because they actually wanted the whipped cream. And he used his hand...? We began eating our food (mine was delicious--an all egg white omelet with my choice of toppings) and our server returned to check on us and to tell us that he was leaving because there were too many people in the restaurant and he didn't feel safe. I quickly glanced around to see that the restaurant was *maybe* at 50% occupancy. He ended up not leaving, and eventually checked us out. As I mentioned earlier, he was kind, engaged, and attentive but his whipped cream escapade and his announcement of leaving caught me off guard. As a side note, this restaurant was quite dirty. When we first arrived, there were 5 servers at the hostess stand. We were only greeted, well after three minutes, after one person from our party said hello for the second time after walking in. All of the servers had seen us walk in and even made eye contact. One server asked how many in our party but then directed us to another person for us to be seated. After being seated, we were left for almost 10 minutes until our server approached us. If they were busy, I would understand, but there were servers standing around on their phones. Once our server got our drink order, she disappeared for another 5 minutes. We only ordered waters. When she finally came back to take our order, she argued with a member of our party of 3 about the pancake combo. Saying that it came with buttermilk and that a substitution wouldn't be the actual double blueberry pancakes. The waitress continued to correct the member of our party when they ordered. Our food arrived after 30 minutes. Our waitress didn't check on us in between the order being taken and food coming out. We had to ask for serve ware and were only given a single fork total, two of the three wraps had a spoon and knife only. The blueberry pancake combo only had a single blueberry pancake and was missing bacon. The hash browns that were ordered extra crispy were barely crispy at all. When the waitress asked if they were crisped enough, we obviously said no. When the hash browns were brought back, they were not different but we were hungry after the long wait. Despite the issues with the food, it was redeemed with the quality of the pancakes which were very good. Overall, our experience was not good. The service was bad and the food (with the exception of the pancakes) was mediocre. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a good experience and satisfying breakfast. read more

This is the second time in just a few weeks that I've ordered the Spicy Poblano Omelette - I love it. It's good eats and with the hash browns on the side the portion is large enough that I have had enough leftovers both times to provide me with a small meal the next day. I'm not sure who thought to put shredded beef in an omelette with peppers and topped with cheese sauce and avocado, but it's a great idea. I would like to give IHOP more stars but our server was overwhelmed with too many tables. She was obviously doing her best but management here needs to re-evaluate their server to customer ratio. Also, the 20-minute wait for around noon on a Saturday seemed a bit long. Very interesting experience here.. Upon entering the restaurant there was loud laughter and chaos coming from the kitchen area. We stood there waiting to be seated for a few minutes. Finally after much time spent goofing off and playing in the kitchen, we were seated. As we were seated, before we even had a chance to sit down, the waitress wanted our drink order. She brings our drinks out and stands at our table while were looking at the menu. After a few minutes of staring she asked if we needed some time to look at the menu. We did so she left and came back a couple minutes later. After bringing our food out we noticed people coming in for call in orders. These people stood and waited, while the "workers" were busy playing and talking about their lives. We often would notice them speaking spanish and then a loud eruption of laughter would come from the kitchen. The floors were dirty, the tables were sticky, the staff was rude and the food was "okay". Definitely not what were used to from what was our local iHop. This is our local IHOP in the Greenwood area. My husband and I went for .58 pancakes for their 58th anniversary. We were excited and surprised when we realized there weren't a lot of people in the restaurant. We quickly realized why there weren't many people there. Unfortunately, the waitstaff is full of young workers. Most of them were hanging out at the entrance/cash register. We were seated quickly but it took awhile for waitress to help us. The restaurant was not clean. The staff hanging around the entrance should have been sweeping or cleaning off dirty tables. At the end of our meal, I went to use the ladies restroom and the air conditioning was not working. Overall not a good experience and poor customer service. read more

I really wasn't sure how to rate this current experience honestly. But honestly, we don't go to Ihop often due to hit or misses at this location that is less than a mile from our house. Let's start with the meal and work from there I suppose. I ordered the Sirloin Tips and eggs and upgraded my pancakes to the creme brulee pancakes. The pancakes themselves were delicious. If I had more the custard on the bottom of the plate I probably wouldn't have had to use maple syrup at all. The sirloin tips were...odd. Okay, maybe not the tips themselves but the sauce was. It had a sweet aspect I couldn't wrap my head around. Now I do have to admit that I had never had them before that I can think of, so perhaps this is simply the sauce they always use? Who knows? What I have to admit? I didn't say anything. Why didn't I say anything? Because of the waitress. The times that I have had an awesome experience are usually due to the waitress we had today. She is the friendliest waitress I think I have had ever, and I didn't want to complain to her about something that was out of control. Myself and one other person came in this morning. We were seated fairly quickly by a rather rude hostess. Our server came over after about 5 or 6 minutes and came back with drinks to get our order. We got the food fairly quickly and it was mediocre. With that being said, the place was absolutely disgusting and there was literal mold inside one of our drinks. After getting through half a glass of sweet tea, my boyfriend realized there was a massive chunk of something black and greyish stuck to the inside of his glass. We looked around and realized the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and turning a nasty dark brown color. Dust was hanging off everything. The dividers between the booths had mostly been ripped out; only a few booths still had ones that were sort of intact yet falling over. The whole place smelled awful as well.
