Spinach mushroom omelette with a side of hash browns
    DA R.

In all honesty, I have never been to an IHOP. It's kind of hard to believe. I went to this location recently because a few of the other places that I wanted to eat breakfast at that particular day had a substantial wait times. I ordered a spinach mushroom cheese omelette with a side of hashbrowns. Everything tasted great. I could only eat half of the omelette because it's just massive. I would guess that they used at least four eggs. Judging from the calorie count of around 900 + calories, that sounds about right. The coffee was weak tasting but I am very picky about my coffee and require it to be much stronger than on the weak and watery side. The service was friendly and attentive enough. They're missing a few items on their menu, like oatmeal and some specialty meals like eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy. I would consider going back.

IHOP's version of Strawberry Cheesecake Waffle for pickup

How dare you order a full Strawberries and Cream Waffle and expect more than small dab and 4 small slices of a strawberry and you better pay $12!

    Dirty window

The waitress was wanting to talk to her friends that were sitting across from us then to wait on her tables. When we asked for refills it was like we were bugging her to do her freaking job. Where we were seated was deplorable the windows behind our booth had fingerprints and doesn't seemed to cleaned for awhile now

    Spicy Poblano Omelette

Server was very friendly and professional, restaurant is clean, omelette and pancakes delicious.

Stopped in for a bite and it was really good. Glad to have options of breakfast or supper items. Very yummy and our waiter, Jack, was great!

Notice the upside down container of whatever on the food. EWW! I won't touch it.

I ordered "fresh" fruit. It wasn't fresh, mostly brownish pineapple. I also got the Big Steak Omelette. It's a large block of cheese with crap in it. Not edible! This IHOP is the worst!

This is the second time in just a few weeks that I've ordered the Spicy Poblano Omelette - I love it. It's good eats and with the hash browns on the side the portion is large enough that I have had enough leftovers both times to provide me with a small meal the next day. I'm not sure who thought to put shredded beef in an omelette with peppers and topped with cheese sauce and avocado, but it's a great idea. I would like to give IHOP more stars but our server was overwhelmed with too many tables. She was obviously doing her best but management here needs to re-evaluate their server to customer ratio. Also, the 20-minute wait for around noon on a Saturday seemed a bit long. We go out for lunch nearly every Saturday to restaurants in the same general area and almost never have to wait very long or at all before we are seated.

We started with the Angry Mac & Cheese, which we had never tried before, and wow -- it was phenomenal. The homemade cheese sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly smooth without separating. The andouille sausage and shrimp were cooked beautifully, and the cream sauce had incredible flavor with just the right subtle hint of spice. Absolutely perfect comfort food with an elevated twist. We sat outside on the patio enjoying the beautiful weather during Indy 500 race week, and the atmosphere could not have been better. Every table around us was full of people laughing, enjoying lunch, and soaking in the energy of the city. It was one of those perfect Indianapolis afternoons. For our mains, we both ordered the Cobb salad -- one with grilled chicken and one with fried chicken -- and both were outstanding. I still can't believe how large the "small" salads are! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the homemade ranch dressing was absolutely delicious. The service, as always, was top-notch. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From start to finish, it was such a fantastic lunch and overall experience. We loved every minute of it and cannot wait to come back!

Our server quickly greeted us and took our beverage orders...they carry only Pepsi soft drink products. She quickly returned beverages on tray, then took our orders. I opted for the Patty Melt along with a side of onion rings. The entrees arrived in the blink of an eye. My Patty melt and onion rings arrived fresh and hot. They even tasted great too! The hamburger patty was thick and juicy and cooked the way I'd prepare it myself. Portions were more than ample. After finishing my "feast" it was time for dessert, a Root Beer float, served in a tall larger glass with an ample portion of ice cream. I would suggest ordering it for two...it's that big. All enjoyed their burgers and we're looking forward to returning next year. * I purposely didn't review the other meals served, as they will be doing their own Yelp reviews.

Convenient location. Zero proof drinks. There were some reviews about long wait times, non-toasted buns and the cost but the write up of the place itself gave me nostalgia vibes for a place called Cobra Burger in Richmond, VA so I had to try my luck. I really wanted to love this place, as I've not found anything like Cobra Burger here in Indy. When we arrived, around 6:45p on a Thursday, the patio had a good amount of people, but inside was pretty empty apart from the bar. We sat at a two top in the bar area. The music was at a pretty low volume, especially considering the amount of reviews that said otherwise. Our server was also bartender, so it initially took her a couple of minutes to come over, which is understandable. She took our order for drinks and then after bringing them back for the food. She was nice and provided good service although juggling tables and the bar, plus she was also pregnant. It took a very long time for us to get our food (close to an hour), despite three guys working the line in the kitchen, banging out burger after burger. The food arrived, hot and correct. Both my husband and I were disappointed that the reviews were right and the burger buns were not toasted. Non-toasted burger buns actually make the burgers harder to eat and less enjoyable. My burger was decent for a non-handmade vegan option; for the price my expectation is amor sophisticated/handmade creative one, but I am thankful that they had a vegan option at all. My husband thought his burger was just okay and that he's had better ones around Indy, so we probably won't be dining here again. For the size of the burger, they should bring you ample napkins without having to ask because it is very messy trying to eat them. For two burgers with fries, one small mac & cheese, and three beers (one regular and two nonalcoholic) before tip the bill was over $80. Now, if the food was top-tier fantastic, I would say fine but being that it was more middle of the road it's a bit pricey.

We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. Sharing appetizers on a sunny patio, meeting fellow basketball fans from halfway around the world, and watching Indianapolis come alive before tipoff. As for the drinks: beer prices were nice and cheap, but the margarita was on the expensive side and not really worth it.
