The food here is pretty much disgusting in a whole Got the turkey bacon avocado sandwich. The turkey was thick and old like it's been in the fridge for two weeks. The bacon was chewy and old avocado was kinda of ripe and the tomatoes even had stems on them and tasted like they're rotten, got a garden salad to go with it. The salad was all bad and rotten and they tried to hide it with a couple fresh salad leaves on top,, I wouldn't go here if you wanna get sick. read more

I knew there was a reason why I had stopped going to IHop and they reminded me again today. I ordered the 55+ meal, Rise and Shine. It consist of 2 eggs, hash browns and 2 slices of bacon or sausage. I requested turkey bacon. Was told that it would be uncharged for that. Little did I know it would be $2.79 for 2 slices of undercooked bacon. The toast came out cold. The only thing good about the meal was the water and iced tea. I charged my meal and got change to give my waitress a cash tip, which I do everywhere. I never looked at my receipt until I got home. As I was using a gift credit card, I get notifications of the last transaction. My receipt says $18.71 and my card was charged $22.45. The difference being automatically charged an additional 20% tip after I had already given a cash tip. I called the restaurant and was given some explanation that made no sense at all. I will wait 24 hours before calling the card company if the additional $3.74 isn't returned. This will be my last visit there. Make sure you check your accounts when charging your meal. read more

The family popped in for some of these tres leches international pancakes we have been hearing about since IHOP has been featuring the international pancake variety. They also offered Belgium dark chocolate and vanilla spice buttermilk pancakes. Of course the real thing doesn't compare to the picture in the menu but they were good 3/5. The French toast looked good but as served would not melt the butter, they did however have boysenberry syrup they brought from the kitchen to make it better 3/5. Eggs were scrambled well, sausage on point but bacon was quite limp and soggy, hash browns were nice and crispy and paired well with ketchup and Tabasco ;-) 3/5. Fresh & made to order, every cook everywhere in the country makes it perfect, every time. I had such a craving on my way home, did a sharp uturn & bam! The service was fine. I came back the next morning because I wanted to try another thing off the Wonka menu and again I had to ask for the menu. Well it's official, after decades of IHOP they're changing the name to IHOB (Burgers)! The attached images show the new burger menu and prices. Still very reasonably priced. This particular location is on the south end of Las Vegas Blvd. away from the strip. It's usually clean with clean restrooms. The location can get very busy depending on the time and day. However, this Tuesday evening was not very busy - but they didn't have a full staff. By he time we ate and left, here was a short wait for seating. The Classic Burger comes with fries and a drink for $6.99 - a really great deal! The burger was tasty and juicy! I imagine the others would be equally as good. One of my favorite breakfast dishes "Chicken Fried STEAK" ruined with a falsely advertised "ground beef" patty. When the staff was asked why it was not a tenderized steak, the answer was because it is a ground steak patty - said with some sarcasm. FALSE Advertising: FAKE ingredients! The BASIC REAL INGREDIENTS! Chicken fried steak is made most often with cube steak, or steak that has already been tenderized, or a cheap cut like round steak. It was originally created to make a cheap cut of meat taste better. No matter which cut you use, you have to pound it thin with a meat mallet. There was no one waiting for seating when we got there since it was early. Took us 25 mins to be seated. That's fine, no biggie. Took another 15 mins just to get our drink order and place our order. I would give this IHOP zero Stars if I could. They treated my boyfriend and I like we had the plague when we went to have breakfast at the restaurant. We barely walked up to the door when they came and just poked their head out and ask what we wanted. When we responded we wanted to eat and sit in the restaurant they reluctantly let us in. They never actually seated us didn't see this where we asked. So we ended up ordering to go and as we were outside trying to decide what to order security told us to try going to Denny's across the road. After our order was in the manager proceeded to speak to us like we were incompetent among other things. It was completely unwarranted as well as disrespectful and embarrassing. I have been yelping for five years and written 661 reviews, and have not been to I-Hop. What is wrong with me!? So, I'll talk about my experience at I-Hop after a 5 year hiatus that goes back to 2009 when we dined in the Fisherman's Wharf restaurant on the week that Michael Jackson passed away. This is an interesting I-Hop. It is located in the parking lot adjacent to the Las Vegas South Premium Outlet Mall off of Las Vegas Boulevard a short distance south of where it transitions from the Las Vegas Strip to a local Highway parallel to Interstate 15. This I-Hop is a melting pot of clientele. Under it's roof; tourists, locals, and I-15 motorists enjoy the legendary I-Hop pancakes and breakfasts. This past Saturday, I was facing a 300-minute Praxis exam. I needed a delicious breakfast that would fill me up. I needed I-Hop. Owing to the fact that you have all the tourists, locals, and I-15 motorists flocking to this I-Hop; it gets busy to the degree that the parking lot and restaurant fills up. I'd park a couple of pads away at Dunkin Donuts. Regardless that I-Hop was hopping with people, they were able to get me in right away. In the five years since I last dined in I-Hop, the menu has changed. I did not see the Rudy Tutie fresh & fruity breakfast combo that I remember loving so much. Likewise, I saw less of the omelettes I also loved. What I saw more of was higher prices. The majority of the breakfast combos with just a coffee (forget coffee and orange juice) add up to around $15. That is around triple the price of a coffee with a cream cheese bagel or coffee with two donoughts combo a couple pads away at Dunkin Donuts. Regardless, I did see a combination with a stack of flavored pancakes that included bacon, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. Just looking at the picture of the stack of strawberry pancakes topped with that mouth watering strawberry sauce, strawberries, and whip cream makes me salivate. Their fruity pancakes are the bomb. The scrambled eggs were also out of this World delicious. The bacon was cooked at just the right temperature. The coffee, served in a kettle was premium tasting. The one weakness was that the top center of the hash browns was hard. The service was okay. I appreciate that regardless of how busy they were that they did not rush me. Still there were some flaws in the service. At the time the waitress served the coffee there was no silverware. Likewise, I'd have to reach across a recently vacated dirty table to grab Sweet & Lows. In conclusion I am more of a dinner than breakfast person. I prefer to look forward to eating out. However, every once in awhile either I deserve to treat myself to a good breakfast or feel the necessity for one before a long test or event. read more
