I was patient thinking that she would bring utensils soon. I finally asked her if we could get some utensils when she was putting syrup on our table. After we received our utensils we never seen her again. We waited a while after we were done eating and just asked another waitress for the check (she was so nice). I understand that everybody goes through stuff and maybe she was having a bad day. But if you're going through something you could tell somebody to help. They just opened. Our family went the other week for dinner on a Saturday night. Yes, dinner. We were seated immediately. There was about 20-30 people in there when we sat down. Being new, everything was nice and clean. I haven't been fond of the quality of the IHOP places and the food at other locations. A bit of a hit or miss with the different locations in the state and other states. However, this location was great! We all loved what we ordered. The main reason I'm writing this is because of our serveOur server was awesome and attentive! Derrick! He was the best! Super friendly and just really took care of our family! Got there a little later than that and asked a girl at the front. She said she would check and never came back and I saw her serving tables so I asked someone else. She said it would be 10 more minutes which would have been 11:40. I didn't get the food until 11:58. Their system is not like Zippy's either. Salty, chicken was rubbery, pancakes were small, and took too long to come out to our table and it was not busy. It was a busy Monday (holiday) mid-morning. The restaurant was crowded and we had to wait around 30 to 40 minutes. We actually got to be seated after waiting for 20 minutes after doing some light shopping. We were seated around 10:40am and we ordered our food a few minutes after that. We waited for our food for 60 minutes! Mind you, I have not eaten anything yet and I was getting really dizzy from the busy atmosphere. A server brought our food over at the 40 minute mark and it was not our order. It was for the table next to us (a nice aunty and uncle couple who have been waiting for their food for 40 minutes as well). Then I got my order: sirloin tips and eggs which was savory and delicious. We then again got the wrong order of chocolate chip buttermilk pancakes. In a few minutes, they brought out the correct order of pancakes. They also brought out my sister in law's kraft mac and cheese and fries and my fiancé's burger. Please make it sense that kraft mac and cheese took an hour to be cooked and served to my little sister. Overall, the food tasted good. The food/kitchen service was horrible. IHOP in Mililani say less. The kids and I love having an ihop in Mililani such a great add on to the town center. Right when you walk in you're greeted with a smile and everyone says hello. Service is always quick and attentive. They're on it with refills don't even have to ask. Food is always hot and delicious can't go wrong. I do wish the would get there fish back because there fish and chips was super tasty. Pancakes is always fluffy and of course your choice of syrups. Recommend for any day of the week. read more

Service and food were great! Place is clean and staff function as a team. The only drawback was that the air conditioning seems to be cranked up way too high and it was freezing inside. I've been there twice and it's still the same -too cold. Hopefully the management will realize and turn the temps somewhere closer to comfortable for the customers. Otherwise I'd suggest taking a thick coat or sweatshirt with you. read more

The staff was very friendly & nice, but the service was very slow. We were there after church about 12:30 last Sunday. First, after waiting about 45 min., my grandson got his food and found a strand of hair in it so they took his plate to redo his order, then we waited another 45 min for the rest of our order. Finally got (egg now cold) and it had a hair on it! Took as long for 2d to be delivered - cold, half grilled, soggy, inedible. Never got our drinks refilled. Just cannot say anything good about this experience. Added: then when we got our bill, we were overcharged (biscuits and gravy vs. just a biscuit). Should've known it was too good to be true. 4 girls at the front desk folding napkins for a half hour, a server we saw for maybe 45 seconds the entire time, and 2 busboys whipping dirty towels around. We ordered and the wait commenced... 1 hour later and several gripes from not only us but half a dozen tables wondering where their food was. The food finally came out.. except it wasn't for us. It was for several tables that had just sat 10-20 minutes after we did, yet somehow they had partially their orders. Scattered tables of only one person eating with apparently zero prioritization of tickets. Other guests asking each other how long they have been waiting. Our food finally arrives and well, what do you know, it's ice cold and dried out eggs with a new layer of crust forming. I make a complaint and brand new eggs come out of the kitchen in 30 seconds. So why is everyone waiting so long if you can just grab food from a cafeteria size serving trays in the kitchen. An average of $20 per meal... yeah hard pass going forward. And to think this place is brand new. Lack of discipline and leadership. Save your time and money. Pros: It's new and clean. read more

They are understaffed. It's quite sad. We were seated. We ordered. We waited half an hour for our food. I think our server was in the back helping to cook the food. She was a shining example of grace under pressure. There were people waiting at the entrance for 30-60 minutes for their pick up orders. To hear and see them getting upset lead to some tension in the overall ambiance. I'm hoping the management can hire a reasonable amount of good quality staff in the near future. read more

Good start in a Mililani... love their few tables outside... staff worked hard to provide service. Coffee was a bit weak and server went and prepared a second cup which was much better. Food quality was good but service was extremely poor. It took 27 minutes from the time the waitress took our order until our food arrived at the table. I used to be a breakfast cook as a teenager: a short stack of pancakes, two eggs, bacon, sausage, and a scoop of rice does not takes about 4 minutes. The waitress acted like she didn't even care, never topped off our water, and had someone else deliver the food. There were only 19 people in the dining room that morning, with two waitresses. At first glance it wasn't that busy, we were seated almost quickly I think they were trying to teach the hosts how to do something. Our waitress Alexis did great. She took our drinks order and gave us a few more minutes to look over the menu. Food came out in a timely matter and tasted good. The hostess was very nice and got us seated in a timely manner, but after being seated and placing our order of a single entree and appetizer (toast) we got drinks then nothing. Nobody showed up to our table for a whole hour, no refills on our drinks or any update on our order. We watched orders go out with no word on ours, including delivery orders as well as to others who were seated after we arrived, with considerably more food than we ordered. Eventually after sitting for a whole hour we walked to the front to pay for just our drinks, had 3 different people come to the front and pass our payment off to another, eventually after making us wait even longer at the cash register they came out saying our food was finally ready and then tried to get us to pay for the food to go rather than just the drinks (counting the number of boxes in the bag she was trying to hand to me, I suspect she forgot that we had ordered a side of toast but still was trying to charge us for it). We came to the restaurant hoping to sit down and eat, but now they were trying to pass off the food to us to eat outside and then the server tried to pass some blame to the hostess when she was the nicest part of the experience and did literally nothing wrong. Would recommend eating here if you have the patience of a monk and don't mind drinking melted ice for an hour. read more
