Overall would not recommend. I will not be coming back even though they gave us two free entrees. We waiting over an hour for food and when it came it wasn't even ours. The people around us had ordered after us and still got their food before us. I ordered the avocado toast with eggs and bacon and the toast wasn't even toasted and the avocado was crunchy. I don't know why I was waiting for over an hour for an avocado toast. My brother order an eggs Benedict that was also wrong. I understand this is a new place and people need to be trained in the kitchen but this is unacceptable. I did not plan to spend 3 hours at an ihop on a Sunday afternoon. read more

The hostess was very nice and got us seated in a timely manner, but after being seated and placing our order of a single entree and appetizer (toast) we got drinks then nothing. Nobody showed up to our table for a whole hour, no refills on our drinks or any update on our order. We watched orders go out with no word on ours, including delivery orders as well as to others who were seated after we arrived, with considerably more food than we ordered. Eventually after sitting for a whole hour we walked to the front to pay for just our drinks, had 3 different people come to the front and pass our payment off to another, eventually after making us wait even longer at the cash register they came out saying our food was finally ready and then tried to get us to pay for the food to go rather than just the drinks (counting the number of boxes in the bag she was trying to hand to me, I suspect she forgot that we had ordered a side of toast but still was trying to charge us for it). We came to the restaurant hoping to sit down and eat, but now they were trying to pass off the food to us to eat outside and then the server tried to pass some blame to the hostess when she was the nicest part of the experience and did literally nothing wrong. Would recommend eating here if you have the patience of a monk and don't mind drinking melted ice for an hour. read more

My family must have come at an unusually busy time for them. I decided to write this review mainly to help them navigate their recent opening. We arrived at 0900 on a Sunday. store semi busy and was told 10 min wait. They took our number and we went to wait right outside their door. As soon as we sat down a waiter came out the door calling for the next party. I assumed they did this with every party as they came out 2 or 3 times after calling out other parties. 40 min later of waiting we noticed a family who came after us went in and I went to check at the front for how long more of a wait. Turns out the front service worker said "I'm sorry for some customers they go outside to call you and others they only sent you a text, I don't know why they do that". I did not see the "table ready" text (yes, my fault) but they were calling names outside so a little confusion there as to how we were going to know our table was ready. They ended up just deleting our party of 4 completely from the waitlist despite us waiting right there at the door. Once that was cleared up they sat us right away which I am grateful for. Fast forward, we sit down order and wait another 30 minutes before our waiter tells us that they just got a huge order and that they don't know how long more we will need to wait. It would have been nice to know this before ordering or even sooner than sitting at the table for 30 minutes already. We did notice that all tables were full at the restaurant and only 2 or 3 families had food (not even the whole table just one or two people) which was very odd. We ended up leaving as the waiters made it seem like we would be waiting more than an hour more for our food. Hoping management can hire more staff for them so they can accommodate their customers when they get busy! I will give 3 stars for the staff that was working though, they were all very apologetic in what seemed like a stressful work environment. Worst customer service. I was hoping this place would be better because of its location. When I got there all I heard was so and so going be mad if you over book her side. Was seated waited 5 min before the waitress came and took my order. After about 20 min no water or drinks. So I left. Will not return. Go to Rise and shine food is way better and you'll get your drinks within 2min or less. read more

Came to try out the new location and my experience was awesome! Greeted from the friendly hostess Mak and was immediately seated for a party of 3. Our server faith took very good care of us. She was very attentive and got our orders out fast. She always made sure our drinks were refilled and asked if we needed anything else. She really went over and beyond to make sure our experience was subperb. The food was really delicious and very nice and hot. For being a new restaurant the food was top tier. Slightly disorganized but the service was still decent. The place is very well lit and felt welcoming. All around good experience highly recommend. Had 3 people in the group. Ordered 3 menu items. First order came slower than expected, 2nd order about 10 min later, and last order came so late that we were almost done with first 2 orders. Need better synchronization on orders. No butter included with pancake order, do we need to ask??? I was not happy with the food delays; that can make what should be a good experience into an awkward / uncomfortable one. Prices were steep for the items ordered. Another new chain eatery in Mililani. I do like IHOP I mean I know I can count on decent pancakes. I used to be more excited when Hawaii didn't have one and we would get to go eat at one when we went to visit Disneyland. Now I am an old jaded lady so I was not ecstatic but just happy that I got to eat breakfast food for dinner. I was satisfied with the food although giving them grace for the bee staff trying to get details and timing down the service is a bit rough even though it wasn't crowded. Son had the chicken tenders and waffles. Waffles were fine but tenders were fried to a dry and tough doneness. My husband's breakfast sampler was a good note everything was as expected. My biscuit and gravy breakfast was fine but came out last much after my sons and husbands and the egg was not as I ordered. So had to wait longer. They did give us a free stack of pancakes because they made one by accident. Everything else tastedmRefills for our refillable drinks and water was not so efficient even thought it was not crowded. My fried steak was good!! The service was also good. The location is pretty easy to find as it's just right next to the theater.

We got there a little before 8am on a Saturday and was able to get a table for 11. Food was delicious and server was nice and patient with all the kids. I am so happy to have IHOP so close to home! The best pancakes IMO. The cold brew was also pretty good (and cheaper than Starbucks). read more

The food tastes just as good as any IHOP and the servers are very kind. Ambiance is a little hectic during peak hours but it's nice during dinner it feels like a small diner. This would be a 5-Star review if the food came out quicker though, but aside from that I have no complaints. read more

The waitress was good but we waited 45 minutes for our food. I had the sirloin tips, eggs and hash browns with a short stack. The steak was not edible. I had to spit out all but one piece. The food wasn't seasoned well and the onions were still rather hard. My wife had the bacon avocado eggs benedict. The bacon didn't seemed to be cooked well. It wasn't crispy so it was fatty. The English muffin was sour. We hope it was a sour dough English muffin and a spoiled one. The pancakes weren't firm and disintegrated when trying to pick it up with a fork. We will not return again. We tried IHOP Mililani for the 1st time, after it had been open 2 months. Before leaving to drive there, we joined the online Rewards program & followed the prompts to start our pickup order, happy to read that it would allow us to use a 20% promo code on our 1st order. We were ready to submit & pay for our order online for the much-appreciated discount, only to be told as we entered the restaurant that other people had experienced the same problem when they tried to place their online order & that although open since December 2024, this location does not offer the online-order service or promotion. When we explained that we had been excited to try this restaurant & even happier to see the perks offered online & for joining the Rewards program including the 1st-timers 20% discount, associate Pua was very courteous, kind & understanding to the point that she went to ask her manager if s/he might at least extend some kind of discount in lieu of what patrons are led to believe online/on the app. Another associate who we were told was named "T," came to the front & told us in a tone & manner that was the opposite of original customer-friendly associate Pua that the manager was not willing to help us Kupuna in any way despite the advertised discount that was very misleading. "T" matter-of-factly & abruptly told us we could look at the 55+ menu but that she would not be implementing or offering anything including the smallest of discounts for this 1st-time visit & in lieu of the promotion that we had been led to believe was available for the months-old Mililani location. The manager never came to speak with us, despite knowing that we, like other customers who the associate mentioned to us, were experiencing the same unfortunate circumstance. We eat out often & felt very disappointed at the lack of customer service & the unwillingness to honor the coupon code or try to make good for new customers, even in the smallest way. Even a 5% discount for the hassle of driving to the restaurant for the misleading promotion or an extra pancake thrown into our order - which we ended up paying full price & waiting 20 minutes for - would have been nice & appreciated, & done wonders to gain our repeat, loyal business. Instead we will be happy to keep driving to Denny's in Kapolei, Denny's in Royal Kunia or Denny's in Waikiki because we have always received excellent, friendly & courteous service there. I have been to this IHOP at least 3 times a week since they opened. While the food delivery started out slow on opening they have greatly improved. And I have always had great service from Gabby and now ask for her to be my server every time I'm there. She has always been nice and genuine. And I plan to continue to come this location. read more

Absolute worst..Came in for breakfast with my family of 3, Two other tables were seated after we arrived..a party of 4 and 5..both got the orders taken and food before we ordered. The couple sitting behind us came in before we did and was able to order shortly after we made our order. We were greeted and then told they had to check with the wait staff to See if they were ready. we were seated and the person seating us said that the food service time would be an hour. we agreed. another family was seated at same time as we were one booth in between. they were treated brought drinks. served food and were almost done while we did not even get offered water. when we got up to leave (without even getting water) my wife talked to the manager. who apologized and offered a 20% discount and said it was due to shift changeover. there was no changeover. the same people were there the entire time and still there when we left. multiple people came by our table. they prepped the table next to us. they had people in back prepping silverware and the three managers were sitting at a table in the back corner. it takes a lot for me to just up and leave a place. this was by far the worst service ( I should say lack of service) I have ever had. I understand that this location just opened but we had a horrible experience. We waited a long time before getting acknowledged at our table by our server just to get our order taken. ( it was not busy) We had already decided on our order when we were told we could not order anything fried . My son and I wanted onion rings. Then my daughter ordered a cold brew and we were told no cold foam . Our order took almost an hour and we got 1 dish at a time. First mine, later my daughters and then later on my son's. No checking on us and no refills until I complained to the manager. At last, she was kind enough to give us 20 % off and took off my son's food and daughter's coffee. She apologized and talked to the waitress. I really did not enjoy the food or the restaurant and the whole experience was just not good. I'm not sure I would ever go back. Oh did I mention the prices are outrageous. The omelette was $23.99 and a sandwich was around $20.79. Be ready to shell out lots of money for a bad experience. Very disappointing!! read more

Not a good first experience. We were seated almost immediately when we entered restaurant. Our server took about 5 minutes to take our order. We got 2 glass water but there was 4 of us on the table. Food came in after 15 minute wait. Can't fault them if they were short handed on staff. My breakfast finally arrived but came with the wrong meat and eggs were not prepared to my order. Finally, the bill arrived at a whooping $80. This was two children's order, one Senior special and one regular breakfast entree.
