3 stars = could've been better. It's an IHOP. It's okay, but definitely has always been in that "could've been better" category. IHOP's food has always looked great and tasted meh bland. Same at this new location. It's brand new, so it's still clean. I noticed several areas where things were already starting to show wear, so we'll see how long the newness lasts. Food is meh. Frankly, the food at most Denny's is better (and Denny's is in that same meh category as IHOP). Just don't expect much, and you won't be disappointed.

went for the first time during thanksgiving* super sweet staff ! super welcoming & always greeting everyone with a smile no matter how busy, & they work quick! the place is a little small, but it's nice clean & pretty for a chain restaraunt diner. the inside smells good of the mix of coffee & food, the winning smell of pancakes & coffee. they're constantly having promotional & seasonal items, so it's always interesting to see whom they partnered with - this time it was indiana jones - or they're pancake of the month ! (maple bacon was novembers if you were curious) on thanksgiving, me & my family didn't have plans so we hopped in for a quick bite & saw they were doing a small desert & dinner promotional for the holiday. we skipped the turkey dinner meal & had some desert, seeming that a few of us had dinner beforehand; we each got one of the desert items & shared amongst one another. - chocolate cake with chocolate mouse & chocolate chips ; my sibling was a major fan of this, i only cared for the frosting that was surprisingly rich! - pumpkin pie with whipped cream ; my parent said that this was very good, a hearty traditional thanksgiving desert - brownie sundae ; the brownie was very good with chocolate chips, could have done without what seemed like hershey chocolate sauce. the whipped cream was good, & the vanilla ice cream was just normal ice cream, that my family shared with each other despite the busy holiday rush, the staff was very kind & compassionate & we made sure to extra thank them for working on such a busy holiday, & taking their time to do so :)

I know this is a brand new location, so I know the workers here may be totally new to the service industry. And maybe this opening day was part of a dry run. So I'll just disclose some observations to help this location improve: - The place seemed over staffed. So there was no excuse that it severely under-performed. in our case the food didn't arrive until a little shy of an hour wait. And even then the simple bacon and eggs order didn't come out right. - My grilled chicken sandwich eventually arrived, but was eventually offered to be on the house and to be wrapped up to take home. But then after several minutes the waiter, when we asked again about it, said it got lost. - The water served to us tasted very strange. Beware the water. There will not be another opportunity to visit this location because our first experience was not that great (think Kitchen Nightmares). However I do wish the management and staff quickly grows and adapts. This IHOP has a great location and therefore superb potential. In summary, that kitchen needs help in the form of leadership and experience. Ultimately its all up to the management.

Me and my sibling came here for breakfast/dinner lol. Our service was amazing! What really made our dining experience top notch was our sever was leisi C she was friendly, nice and attentive, always making sure that we had refills and our food was good, but not checking in so much that we felt smothered. The bathroom was also very clean and even smelled good Overall our experience was very good!

Ordered at our local iHop through DoorDash for pick up. Our food was accurate and on time. Staff were very friendly upon arrival and greeted me with a smile. All very pleasant. Burgers were both very delicious as expected. Great comfort food and all expectations met. Definitely recommend for a quick, cheap, and easy meal.

Not so rooty tooty if you ask me, it was a joke

Food showed up at different times and only the last one delivered was close to warm, the rest were cold. Even asked to have some remade. And then the joke around the table was the 3 tiny strawberries for the roots tooty isn't fruity... Employees are all very nice and friendly.

2/25/25: Monroe, wa IHOP's happy hour menu.

Good service. Decent food. Bummer the app doesn't allow for use of the 20% off discount for online orders or promotional cards. Need to get app fixed. Also bummer that happy hour menu isn't online and that they charge $7 for the house faves instead of $6.

I happened to visit on a Saturday afternoon with live music which added a ton to the experience. Plenty of easy parking, a food truck was present when I visited, there's a coffee stand in the parking lot, snacks/non alcoholic drinks available for sale inside. Lots of room both inside and out, a large outside area with a couple fire tables and an actual fire pit, some plastic axe throwing and other things, tons of room for dogs and children. Some of the outside area was covered for those days when you want to be outside at a fire table but the weather disagrees. Lots of beers to choose from but also a distillery on site with a separate room and cocktails available for purchase. This room has a fancier decor and is 21 plus if you want to be away from those with children. I guess Glory Bucha Kombucha is also being brewed on site. They were out of the blackberry pale beer when we visited, but plenty of other tasty options on tap. Sounds like they also have a connection with a winery and a cider company. Multiple people behind the bar is also a plus. My only complaint is that a place this large could use more than 2 bathrooms. I'll definitely be adding this to my Snohomish rotation and hope to be back again soon. Fingers crossed I can snag a fire table next time.

It's a friendly place and they clearly have devoted regulars. In long I had the afternoon to goof off and I've earned a little cheat, so I stopped in for a few beers. The Basic IPA was a little too malty, as was the Huger Heffer (hefeweizen). The Hazy IPA was solid, lots of citrus and tropical fruit aromas and flavors. The bartender happily jumped right in to change one of the huge flatscreens over to the Mariner game. (We even won!). It was slow for the first hour or two I was there. The barn doors were open and you could see a couple kids and dogs running around. Turf on the deck outside, some open grass, cornhole, axe-throwing. Lots of fun low-tech stuff happening. A two-piece cover band came in after a while and started playing. Dad jokes galore. Good vibe, they clearly pulled in tons of people who wanted to check them out. Everybody's having fun. I didn't try the cocktails, and all I can say about the food truck is that they were super friendly and the food smelled incredible. This is a good-enough hangout for one person and would clearly be great for a group, even a big group. Fun day in the valley. I'll say that is all accessible, and the washrooms are gender-neutral. They're accessible, too, though there are no grab bars and the toilets are *really* low to the ground. Plenty of room to move around in there, though.

The deck off the back of the restaurant was fantastic, I just wished anything would have matched that energy. We ordered 2 jalapeno Margaritas, and 2 "fresh natural" margaritas. They brought out chips and salsa and beans to us following our orders. The salsa I am not sure how it qualify as salsa. It was more like a can of stewed tomatoes. No spice, no flavor. The beans were the same. Plain, nothing to them. While fajitas had been walked by many times we opted not to get food. After letting the server know we were not ordering food, I believe the manager came over to ask if everything was ok. We were like yeah, we just came by for drinks. Both the server and the manager seemed annoyed after that. After receiving our drinks they were to be nice, just plain disappointing. Jalapeño margaritas are my drink of choice and this one fell well short of the mark. There were jalapeños in it, but there was zero spice and a very strong flavor of just the margarita mix. My wife enjoyed her fresh margarita, but upon receiving the bill the fresh margarita was a $4 add on for the fresh lime juice? $65 for 4 margaritas in pounder glasses. Maybe it's because they were not good that I find that as steep. Thanks Monroe El Paraiso, we won't be back. The street was on the narrow side with parking on both sides of the street. I parked in some of the angled parking across from the address of Pueblo Viejo. There was a large truck between where I parked and where my Apple Maps app had indicated the store was located. Making my way to the closest crosswalk, I crossed the road and found that yes, the store was behind the truck. A banner clearly marked the store front, and the entrance was easy to spot. Upon entering the store, I decided to stop and take a picture. Once I took the picture, I realized there was a woman behind the front counter watching me and I said hello. Looking around, there was a variety of offerings. My dad has been experimenting with different breakfast recipes from different cuisines and I spotted some ingredients he might find fun. However, what engulfed the majority of my attention was the array of bakery items. Trays were available to one side of the baked goods cases along with tongs. Friendly and helpful workers helped me figure out that I got a bag for the items at payment. I went with a pink pan dulce and what ended up tasting and looking to me like a pineapple empanada of sorts. Neither item was too sweet, and both had flavor and texture true to what it was. Together they made for a good sweet tooth fix. The price for both items with tax was $2.10 and cash payment was accepted. The woman who took me through the payment process was the same one sitting behind the counter when I took the picture when I entered the store. She was warm and friendly in our interactions.
