Steak was on point, mac and cheese was rich and satisfying, and the Amaretto sour I ordered was balanced and smooth. Portions were generous. I had leftovers. One item I have to call out is the smoke salmon dip. I tried it before and honestly, it's the best salmon dip I've ever had. Super flavorful and smooth, perfect if you want something lighter to share. Kaluz has been consistently great every time I've gone. The Pembroke Pines location is a standout. Here's what we ordered: - Aaloo Tikki: Far too tangy, and we couldn't taste the green chutney at all. - Kurkuri Bhindi: The only dish we truly loved--perfectly cooked and flavorful. - Dal Tadka: Just okay. The one we had the previous night at Taj Indian Grill was significantly better. - Paneer Masala: Lacked flavor and tasted like tomato purée mixed with cream. The same dish at Taj Indian Grill was outstanding. My cousin ordered a chicken dish. When the server asked our preference between thigh and breast meat, my cousin asked for thigh meat. However, we were served breast meat. The worst part, unfortunately, was the dessert. We ordered the Malai Kulfi, which was taken straight from the freezer and served without clearing our plates. The kulfi itself was extremely disappointing--one of the worst I've had. I'm from North India, and I've had great kulfi over the years, but this one was so dense it needed a knife to cut, with a powdery taste none of us liked. When we mentioned it to our server, instead of simply apologizing, he responded arrogantly, insisting their kulfi is featured on a show and is a "signature dish." A good restaurant knows how to accept feedback rather than try to prove customers wrong, and this interaction rubbed us the wrong way. Overall, I'd rather drive the extra five minutes to Taj Indian Grill, where the food and service were far better.

You pay a fixed price of $35.95 on the weekends and dinner on the weekdays and you can order all you can eat from the menu. They have sushi raw and cooked, plenty of appetizers like edamame and gyozas, and even Habachi like shrimp, steak, and chicken! The sushi rolls come in 5 or 8 pieces and you can order several to try them. They also have hand rolls and sashimi. They do make everything fresh to order so you might have some waiting in between. Lots of parking since this is located inside a shopping center and tons of tables inside. Ambience is great love the cute decor, simply yet creative. This isn't a traditional buffet but rather a set menu you can order as much as you want from and they bring it to you. Service was pretty quick and you just have to work out how to best stagger your ordering so you don't have too much at once or waiting too long since they bring out as soon as it's ready. The appetizers were good and we just sampled a few hot and cold to try it out but wanted to save room for the main event, sushi! The ginger dressing is pretty solid there and the clams soup was surprisingly simple but flavorful. The hand rolls were a good size and well made but the flavors of the spicy tuna and spicy salmon seemed to not blend well in the roll. My favorite roll was probably the sunshine roll for its bright fresh flavor followed by the double J roll. The king oyster mushroom tempura was fire and the others were also good but we like the uniqueness and texture of the mushroom. The biggest con to this AYCE is that the rolls are full 8 pieces per order. Everything else seems scaled down to order individually or to share but not the rolls. We were only 3 people and wanted to try a little of everything so we only got to try 4 rolls and that last one was a struggle. Many other spots like this will do 4 pieces per roll so that opens up some stomach space. While the food was fresh and tasty, I won't be running back as there are many other good options for the price point or less for lunch (and certainly for dinner at around $35 a person I believe ). If you like eating a whole roll vs trying a little of this and a little of that, and you have a big appetite, then maybe this is your spot.
