Avoid at all costs. Good waitstaff but incompetent management, We have visited three times. Visit 1) Food arrived late, cold and not all at once. Pancakes arrived when we'd finished rest of meal. No apology. Visit 2) Host advised us that they had no cooks available, We left. Visit 3) Got in, placed order, then waited, and waited, and waited, Order arrived incorrect (avocado turkey wrap with no avocado) and fries lukewarm. Waitress very apologetic. No manager in sight going from table to table to explain, apologize, or offer any kind of compensation. This was my final visit. Three strikes and you're out. We went in on a weeknight and when I ordered a burger off the menu, waiter said there were no burgers available. So I hastily chose an egg/hashbrown/sausage deal and didn't realize it was supposed to come with pancakes. Of course, I didn't get those - it wouldn't have made any difference because the waiter did not come back around till we were long finished. We didn't even bother waiting. So many people were complaining in the wait line about the consistent issue of being understaffed and having to wait a long time to be serviced. The hostess kept disappearing and a customer was putting names down on the wait list. Manager was nowhere to be found. All of this being said, it didn't appear to be very busy in the restaurant. My husband and I went at about 3:30 am which at that time there was no one else in there. At first glance the place is a mess! There was food all over the floor and we got seated in a booth with food left all over the seat. We waited a longer than normal time for our food, which in the meantime a few more people walk in. We get our food and it is cold and not good at all. My husband's pancakes were hard and he wouldn't even touch his scrambled eggs. Visiting from out town and wanted good coffee, the coffee did not fail me. The manager seated us at a dirty table and said she would send someone to clean, no one came. When the waiter approached the table he didn't know what we were talking about cleaning the table. He was a wonderful waiter, very patient and well accommodating. I could've made the food they served me and I'm not a chef. The food looked like it had been sitting for 20 minutes before getting to me but it was slightly warm. I asked for coffee and water and my water came after I was already eating. Multiple people had left in disappointment of the service. Should have read the reviews before coming here. Took 5-10 minutes to be seated in a mostly empty restaurant because they had to "clean tables" when clearly 15 visible tables were already clean. I wish I could give less. Avoid this place, unless you like waiting more than 30 minute for a "quick" 2 egg breakfast. Apparently this is normal and people who go here actually expect to wait and know it's terrible but have that IHOP fix. I got up to use the restroom and the food service area had tons of plates lined up, no one was getting their food! When we got our food, it was cold and the toast seemed like it had been sitting out for 20 min, it was so cold and hard. And my food wasn't even cooked the way I asked. No big deal, I was starving at that point. The pancakes never even came out so we asked for them to go and waited an additional 10 minutes. They tasted like cardboard. Been there 3 times and every time we've been there it takes them awhile to sit us. Then when we gave our order to the waiter it took like 30 minutes for him to come and tell us that he forgot to place our order at least he was honest but still no satisfied. Other times they never ask how they can help we had to be calling a waiter to give us more coffee or even the check. We went here when it first opened. It was very poorly managed. The wait staff was abysmal and rude and the manager was visibly very much in over her head with a busy opening. They were out of several key items on their first day, which is inexcusable. Now when we pass we constantly think it's shut down because there are rarely more than 3 total cars in the parking lot, which I assume are workers. We usually enjoy ihop restaurants and we were happy to have one open in rosenberg. Unfortunately the food is not as good, when compared to other Ihop restaurants. The service is extremely slow and impersonal. It usually takes 20 minutes just to get our order taken and then a long wait for the food to come out. We ordered our meal online to pickup at the restaurant. When my husband arrived, part of the order was missing. After waiting a few minutes, the manager came to ask what was missing, and said she would make it. Before my husband could ask her to keep the rest of the order warm or remake it, she walked away. Over 15 minutes later, she comes out with the missing omelet. Of course, by this time all of the other food was cold, so my husband asked about it, saying that he needs all of the food to be the correct temperature before he leaves. The manager gave him a hard time about it and then went to the kitchen. Almost 30 minutes later, a staff member saw my husband, asked him if he was still waiting on food, and told him that the manager wasn't making it and was hiding in her office. She's the only one who can give refunds, which is what we wanted at this point. After repeatedly saying that we wanted a refund, and the manager still nowhere in sight, the staff ended up refunding the amount in cash (probably from their own pockets). It took several minutes to get our drinks ordered. We were not given straws so we asked for some. We had to wait several more minutes for them. Then we had to wait for the food to be ordered. I've been here since they first open and the wait was terrible they had more employees than ppl eating there and still wouldn't take my order and after my order was taken it took them and almost an hour to get my food but I gave it another chance since it was a new facility but when I came back there was literally no more than 10 people eating and the service was super slow ! Again!!! Even the people behind me walk out .
