This IHOP is clean enough, and its just like most other IHOP's in the area. Except one thing, they don't have boysenberry syrup! I know this sounds trivial, but every IHOP has it, except this one. My waitress told me the manager doesn't order it to save money. Makes me worry what other corners are being cut to save costs. I will go to another location that can afford to offer all the food the chain offers. read more

Came in for some french toast and coffee, everything was good and quick. Well there were only 2 ppl in at 3am so it should be right lol, the waitress was good friendly on top of everything. Overall experience it was a average breakfast can't complain my food was hot and satisfied my belly. read more

The hamburgers at IHOP were excellent. Better than I anticipated.Once seated the customer service was excellent. Why three stars? The ambience. The restaurant was half empty and a wait to be seated. I suspect Black Bear has taken some of IHOP business in North Natomas. To avoid a wait to be seated IHOP should consider having at least two wait staff on floor at all times. read more

Only thing open Christmas Day... For an IHOP I guess its about average. Service was slow, food pretty unexciting, but it was open for when my wife and I were hungry and too lazy to cook on the way home from Sacramento. read more

My family and I had the worse experience here. We will never go back here, or any other IHOP. To sum it up: Don't go here unless you want to be treated horribly, have eyes rolled at you by the hostesses (who HATE their jobs & make sure you know it) deal with a rude & condicending manager & eat horrible food at a ridiculous price. I have never left a restaurant feeling so bad & cheated... read more

Well... it was ok. But I guess the immediate turn off was the persistent waitress. We had a group of 4, we were waiting on 2 and my wife had just gone to the bathroom. Then they asked if I wanted to be seated now, not wanting for my wife to have to wander around the restaurant I asked if we could wait a minute or two. About every 10 seconds after that I got "So are you waiting for someone" "We can take you to your table" "Do you know when they will be here" "We have a table ready".... it was rather irritating. The food was ok, Nothing to write home about, but it wasn't terrible. I usually reserve the one star for terrible lol. Overall wasn't to impressed, but like I said it was ok. read more

7 for $7 here! Getting chicken and waffles and the steak special. Everything was great except the waffles. I'm not sure exactly what was wrong with them, but they were entirely unappealing . I took a couple of bites and was done with it. I was also disappointed that they don't have Nutella anymore to put on their crepes! The steak was good. Chicken was good. Everything else was excellent. Service was great. Really happy about the 7 for 7 deal at this particular location. read more

I Hop sure has gone downhill. tiny eggs, underdone and overdone bacon, burnt hash browns, chewy pancakes, watered down OJ, and not cheap as well as no discount. waited 1/2 hour for table , when I got in there were 12 empty tables. Coffee was hot and good, server was terrific. website questionnaire only asked you age and it was over. Not likely I will ever go back read more

Came today for my daughter birthday , in hopes of a good meal before we start our afternoon . Very friendly staff and we were seated right away although there was a horrid smell in both dinning rooms and bathroom, after talking to an employee the manager decided to spray AXE!! A men's body mist. How do I know that our server showed me, Mind you the server("Hoor M") failed to mention they have been having complaints all morning but , haven't came up with an appropriate solution. The doors should have been kept open to air out the awful smell. This is beyond disgusting and unprofessional, I'm very displeased with today's service and will not be coming back . read more

Horrible service there was only two parties in the whole restaurant and I never got my drink refilled willingly. I had to ask for one and she just didn't bother to touch my empty glass twice before I asked. I probably won't come back. The tag says magali 184 but hopefully that's the name of our server who was a girl. This is super sad for a place to expect diner status. Where is the customer service people? read more

This place is ok, because it is local and you know what to expect. Service is pretty good here as well. I hop always has promotions so you're able to save a buck or 2 eating out. However I discovered that you must ask for 'real eggs' if you want them. Instead of the egg by-product used in every dish. read more

This place has ordering take out down! When you order like strawberry banana waffles or French toast they package up the fruit and the waffle and everything all separate so it doesn't get all soggy! And the Hawaiian roll French toast is bomb and a STEAL at 4.99 and you can get banana and strawberry for no extra charge read more

I recently visited IHOP and ordered my go-to: the protein strawberry banana pancakes. Unfortunately, my experience this time was a bit disappointing. The presentation was off, and the pancakes didn't taste quite right. When I asked the waitress about it, she told me that they've changed the way they prepare them to make them healthier. While I appreciate the effort to offer healthier options, it didn't match what I've had in the past, or what's shown online. I've always loved these pancakes, but this time they just didn't hit the mark. I hope they can get back to the original recipe soon! read more

I came here when it was not crowded. I was seated and offered drinks by a white older woman with blonde hair and after she never returned. I sat there waiting for over 20 mins without being asked what I want to order and I see all these employees walking around and helping others even after I tried to wave down for help. Before we even had a chance to settle him down, Katie immediately knew how to help. She asked if he wanted to color, and just like that, his entire mood changed. He was happy, which meant happy parents, and we were able to relax and enjoy our meal. Katie was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made sure we had everything we needed, and we also noticed she gave the same level of excellent service to all of her tables. It's clear she truly cares about her guests. Things I appreciate: You can order online, and they provide curbside service. This is perfect, especially for someone who is busy. They were very prompt in bringing the food out, and the gentleman that brought the food to the car was so super polite, that I had great hopes for the food. The lunch special comes with an entrée, a side salad or soup if you don't want the salad and breadsticks. From that standpoint, it's a pretty hearty meal and not about price point for the serving. The packaging of the food is pretty stellar. The salad lid has a groove in it so that the croutons and dressing are placed on the exterior of the lid, and the salad is kept as fresh as possible. Great idea! Things that went wrong: While I did check the box for napkins and utensils, utensils were provided, but no napkins were. Salad - a basic salad really should not be that challenging. Remember Olive Garden has built the reputation on salad and breadsticks. I'm about to dispel that. It thankfully was fresh, but the croutons are so salty that they're inedible. The dressing has lost its flavor profile and it's just mediocre at best. I ordered the lasagna and ended up adding on the three meatballs for an extra $4.95 with the intent of this being at least two meals. At first glance, the meatballs look un appetizing. When I picked one up, the size was actually larger than what it appeared to be and felt fairly tender. Looks were not deceiving. The meatball was absolutely horrible. It tasted like one would imagine compressed sawdust would taste like. Dry, flavorless, with an aftertaste that was just as bad. At this point, I can feel the frustration setting in, and decided to take a bite of the breadstick. The breadstick was hard, not warm, not anything other than sad want to be bread. My recollection of the breadsticks were that they were garlicky warm breadsticks, and it was a bonus that when dining in, there was an endless supply of them. These like the meatballs were completely inedible. They were too hard to bite into, which is not what a breadstick is supposed to be unless it's posing as a pretzel. Then came the moment of truth. The lasagna. I knew before I took a bite that I needed to completely lower my expectations based on what I had just tried, and managing expectations when one is hungry can be challenging. The lasagna was pretty much a goopy mess. I don't dislike it just yet because in my mind, this means melted cheese. It wasn't. It's just unstable lasagna. The lasagna is supposed to have a meat sauce, but I can tell you if there is any meat in that sauce at ran through it so that it would not be embarrassed by the end result. The lasagna is a poor excuse for what it is. It lacked flavor/seasoning, and frankly, this too was inedible. Would I recommend going to Olive Garden? Absolutely not. Because this is a chain restaurant, it's pretty much given that other locations are going to be this abysmal as well. The highlight of the entire experience was how polite the gentleman was that brought the food to the car, and the packaging of the food. This was a complete waste of $20 I absolutely loathe sad meals, and this meal was beyond sad.
