I will never visit this location again. We were ripped off. My husband and I ordered off the same menu in front of the waitress ($10 or less during the weekday menu) I ordered the chicken strip and fries for $8.99 and my husband ordered the BLT which should have been $7.99. When our check came my husband handed her our ATM card for payment and when we went to add a tip we noticed she charged us incorrectly. She charged me $15.99 for the chicken strips and fries. When I told her that she charged us incorrectly she acted like she didn't know that I ordered off the $10 menu. She stood there and watched us order, so she should know my order.... isn't that her job?? I did notice when we walked into the restaurant there were NO customers. This is probably why! You rip off customers and they never come back. They also spread the word!! read more

Always good service here! But I noticed the last few times I have came here my pancakes were over cooked to the point where it was tough to cut up. Not sure if I will return anytime soon as it's not the same quality or price as before. read more

Chose this location due to the fact it had more stars and it's rating of 3 stars is on point. Service was average worth 3 stars and food wasn't hot as if it was sitting a while before they served us. Other people who got there after us got their food before we did but our server was nice just didn't get to see her much. I would definitely give this one another chance unlike other IHOP's in the areas. read more

We went here and had breakfast for dinner the other day (it was very late). The place was basically empty. We sat in a booth behind the only other table that had people at it in the entire place. I don't know the young lady's name but she was an excellent worker! She attends(ed) Inderkum High. This young lady gave us fantastic customer service. The breakfast was good. Blueberry pancakes were light and fluffy, just plain yummy. I asked for the caramel sauce that is used for the banana fosters pancakes. It was pure sugary yumminess. I also had an egg white omelet, it was on point. I don't go here frequently, but it seems to be a consistently dependable breakfast. read more

My mother and I had just gone in to get a late dinner. The hostess had asked us how many in our party, we say 2 then she proceeds to say "oh I can't seat you we are about close". Okay, we leave then the guys behind us get seated. Keep in mind one of them asked what about to go. We see them sit down and get a menu through our car window, anyway we call to get some understanding and then she says I know I'm going to tell them to leave and as my mother is talking she hangs up in her face. We have used the curbside pickup option many times throughout the pandemic. It's so great! They bring the food right to your car. It's always ready when they say it will be and the orders are always correct. Place your order online and they will tell you how long it will be to get your order. Plus, the Hoppy Hour promos are great. You get a burger and fries for $6! Way cheaper than fast food and better tasting. Plus, you can even get pancakes as a side with your burger! read more

Went here on a Saturday night after my friends were craving this place for breakfast. I had came here unexpected and water some pancakes. When we walked in we were greeted and got sat down. there was a total 4 of us. we sat at a table and around us was about 3 other tables. it wasn't a busy night overall. When i opened up the menu i first saw the red velvet pancakes and i already instantly knew what I'm getting. I got the short stack of red velvet pancake with the basic breakfast combo, which came with hash browns, 2 sunny side eggs, and 2 sausages. it was a total of 7.49 before tax. i thought it was a great deal for under 10 bucks. when we all ordered it take about 10 to 15 mins to get done. it seemed like it took a while since it was 4 of us. i think it took long because they wanted to drop the food off all at the same time. anyhow i didn't really mind the wait. now lets get to the pancake, man was it sooo fluffy and hot and so flavorful without any syrup. to my opinion the red velvet pancakes didn't really need any syrup at all. i thought the whip cream on top with the red velvet pancake was good enough. the whip cream can be the substitution of the syrup to make the pancake moist and gives a creamy flavor too. to my opinion i think it was ok with the strawberry syrup as well. i don't think it went well with the butter pecan because it kinda clash. any how thats my different combination i did with the red velvet pancake. the eggs sunny side were on point. the hash browns were golden crisp brown and there wasn't a lot but it was a perfect portion. the sausages were just normal nothing special. overall i did like the food and it did satisfy me. overall the service was ok. they did come check up on us and refilled water but we did have to mention for it. they were kinda on the slow side too. overall i am fan of the red velvet pancakes and i am still craving it. i know they are here for a limited time only so i will have to go get another craving maybe during mothers day brunch. if you like what you read or if you haven't follow or add me then do so because it makes my day. lol... more friends the better yelp gets. happy yelping! thanks for reading. read more

The wait can tend to be alittle bit long but that seems about right for any place that tends to get busy when they serve good food. Today was great and will be back like usual. In this city of 1 star establishments "brought to you by apathy and sponsored by ignorance" I'll raise the bar and give this newly created grease vortex 1 1/2 star.s for at least trying to come off as cultured. They even try to make crepes here. Granted this minimal attempt at quality is poor, but at least this place tries to emulate diplomacy with it's german, french, and even Swedish style pancakes. It fascinates me how in Quebec City (this is not to say I'm Quebecoise for I am not), the crepery's are run by small breakfast shops that probably make enough for a middle class family to live on, yet, IHOP, a multi-million dollar establishment, with all it's profits has not decided to invest in actually making food that actually tastes good. I pondered that irony while I waited for my "passport special" at a whopping $7.50 which comes with French toast (vive l'france~ yeah right!) and was reading Iris Chang's "The Rape of Nanking." It occurred to me that Sacramento is being raped by corporate America only the results of the torture are gradual and over a longer period of time. We see it in the fabricated and uncreative subdivisions everywhere. We hear it in the morning rush hour traffic on Highway 5. We smell it in our suspicions, and taste it in the quality of the food we eat. But let's be honest: everything in the end, tastes like cardboard here. ON A GOOD DAY. Why would anyone want to eat the sausages sold here??? I took one bite of that thing and I couldn't eliminate that salty sausage-eey taste from my palette for three whole days! I had to fast on plain rice porridge and run 6 miles for two consecutive days just to manage an attempt at a bowel movement. As you drive through the freeways of Sacramento, do not think you are having a de ja vu when you drive by an Albertson's, Arby's and Applebee's. Be concerned. Ask yourself: "is this the best that my city can do for me?" Trust me, although the service here is ok, avoid this place like you would avoid getting a tabasco sauce induced enema. And whatever you do, do not allow your children to turn into mentally induced enemas by taking them to places like this. read more

I came here with my buddies after a night at the movies! This place is always a safe bet for an ending to amazing night. This location is in the center of a plaza full of fast food chains and other food places. This location and the Denny's in the same plaza is the only choice to dine in at this area(you can read my review of Denny's) but ihop is always the choice for my group. I've tried a lot of the menu but during this visit I got some goodies, actually lots of goodies, I've attached the photos. The server was very prompt about refilling water, and also brought out more coffee before the pitcher was empty, along with another raspberry lemonade before the first one was done. My buddies always get the pancakes here but every time I get a breakfast deal I always sub the pancakes out for French toast for no additional cost! IHOP is a big part of my childhood. Because of bad experiences in the past at other locations I really wanted this to work. Fortunately for me it did. I was kind of nervous coming in on a holiday, usually the services are hit-and-miss cuz nobody just Glides through working on a holiday. The waiters were really kind and considerate. They even asked me if I wanted water twice just to be sure I said no cuz I had some water in the car. My food was delivered at a reasonable time oh, and there was nothing wrong with it it tasted like the old-fashioned big steak omelette with pancakes that I've always enjoyed. If you are like me and you want to have a great IHOP experience try this place out. I see there is some negative reviews on here but maybe they just came on a bad night. I came on a night where the service was not supposed to be that great and I had a really pleasant experience. Take care of everyone. read more

We made the trip JUST to try the yummy looking new signature pancakes. First, when we got there we waited about 20 mins for a table one a wednesday around 11am. Hmm. Then, I had to go back out to my car for a coat for my daughter...on a 96 degree day. Hello over air conditioning. After another 15 minutes our order was taken. We had iced vanilla coffees and ultimate bacon and sausage breakfasts one with strawberry banana cream pie pancakes, one with blueberry canoli pancakes. Service: Other than the long wait, the service from our waitress was great, considering. She was obviously very stressed and I observed that she had 4 or 5 tables, one of which was at least 12 people, in addition to our table. Poor management! But she was very friendly and sweet. Food: ugh. When our vanilla iced coffee came out, I eagerly slugged down a big gulp hoping for a creamy coffee experience. Instead, I got a gob full of alcoholly flavored vanilla syrup. Apparently they do NOT stir these concoctions for you. When I LOOKED, the vanilla syrup was clearly stratisfied on the bottom and was completely unstirred. The sausage was ok, the bacon think and strangely flavorless. The eggs...whic COULD have been the highlight of the meal because they were perfwvrly cooked and actually delicious were RUINED for me when I found not one, but two human hairs in them. The pancakes were good by themselves, as usual. But that fluffy banana cream pie mouse you see in the commercials is actually grainy liquidy fake banana flavoring pudding. Those fresh scrumptious strawberries? Frozen mush covered in their normal strawberry syrup. Ps. These booths are FILTHY. I want my $26 back. read more

Never coming back to this IHOP! Came in at 10:45 pm on a Sunday. It wasn't busy, just two groups of people already done eating. Ordered and after 30 mins started wondering what happened to our order. Decided to wait a little bit more but eventually just ended up leaving. Wasted over an hour of my life here. Waiter didn't even bother to check on us, I think she was hiding in the back. All my boyfriend & I ordered was a sandwich and a wrap. The only thing that needs cooking are the fries and bacon maybe. Don't waste your time with this IHOP.
