Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Another building in the dank and dreary drug addled and homosexual filled nightmare that is east Madison and its surrounding broken bottle puke stained streets. If its not bad service, then its the drunk and angry parking lot Nazi who while Heiling Hitler and writing down peoples license plate numbers(, to illegally tow their vehicles to support the Manager Donald's back door deal with "Gary's Towing company") is smoking cigarette after cigarette and flicking the butts onto patrons vehicles fitting in perfectly with the homeless laden, robbery minded, and dieing homosexual outside a club on an overdose of whatever concoction of barbiturates and cocaine view trip on the streets screwing the place up. Beyond that there is the discussions of spitting in old ladies food because they never tip and deserve every hocked luegy in their food for being white (a conversation of which I was personally in ear shot of while the employees were on break). Then there is the fact that there is no legal tow notice describing the exact results of parking in the parking lot just that its for ihop customers for which you will be charged "$440.73" as I heard one of the victims screaming, (which mind you is 90% empty because of the constant pull up and drop off drug dealing and prostitute pickups right under the nose of the Seattle police department four blocks away), to pick up a friend and come back to eat. Beyond that, there is the violent, drug filled and angry lesbian/homosexual population (who during their last march chanted "We are drunk and on drugs and we will fuck you up, oh yeah" while under the protection of the Seattle police department.) that surrounds this toilet to eat off of, creating just the right ambiance for a shattered glass back alley Aids needle mugging. Then there is the gang banging unkempt blunt burnt lips of the no hair net wearing cook staff. Who is kept very carefully in the kitchen and far from the eyes of the patrons who will be eating their hair and spit. You want good food, go somewhere else. If you want lazy shiftless Farrakhan followers, making your food and towing your car and getting a cut of $440.73 of illegal tow fee, because you went to meet some friends and bring them back to this toilet to eat off of stench hole, on the corner of drug dealer and dead homeless man. Then this is the place for you. I honestly suggest, that you seriously consider your health, your wallet and the abusive amount of stomach cramps and diarrhea that you will be grunting through the next morning. read more

ONE OF BEST IHOP !!! We were looking for a place to eat a late breakfast, and fortunately IHOP serves breakfast 24/7! The menu was much more extensive than I expected, with pages of breakfast foods as well as some lunch options. My first thought was that everything was more expensive than I had expected, but then I saw the combo meals on each page. A combo of eggs, bacon, hash browns, and 2 pancakes costs the same as a stack of 4 pancakes. Seems unorthodox, but makes the combos a good deal. I ordered chocolate chocolate chip pancakes with bacon, eggs over-easy, and hash browns. Everything was delicious. The bacon was exceptionally good, but that's not a hard thing to mess up. The eggs were perfectly cooked. I would have preferred the hash browns to have been a little browner and crispier, but they were tasty. The pancakes were sweet and fluffy, but had very few chocolate chips. We were seated right away and our server was quick and attentive. I know damn well I ain't a fucking FDA Worker of whatever but that has to be like a health code violation of some sort. That guy was in there for a little bit too. I got seated next to mentally ill who was probably homeless yapping to his dumbass self. This shit is small don't come here when busy let alone come at all. Last time before this I've been been here it was a lot better. Can't park her cause there was a guy vaping/smoking there and I guarantee that your car WILL get vandalized. Me and you know damn well that when it comes to safety that Capitol Hill ain't shit. I know that this is 24/7 restaurant but I was here earlier today at 10AM yes 10AM. The overall experience of IHOP is very good! The food is as stable as ever, especially their classic pancakes, which are soft and sweet, and are a good choice every time you come. There are a wide variety of breakfasts, whether you want to eat salty or sweet, you can find satisfactory options. The service is also very good, the staff is friendly, and the serving speed is also timely. The environment is clean and tidy, suitable for family or friends to get together. However, sometimes there are more people during peak hours, and the waiting time is a little longer. I hope that the reservation or queuing system can be improved in the future. Giving eachother a Harold and Kumar high five for achieving the goal of finding a place to sate our munchies, we walked triumphantly into IHOP. Our server was pretty friendly, humorously asking us whether we were "starting or ending our evening?" One of my friends conjectured that we were far to sober to be ending the evening, even though we were. After taking our sweet-ass time deciding on our rooty-tooty-fresh-and-fruity menu options our server let me order from the kids menu. BEST IHOP!! This was very close to our hotel so very very convenient. We were not expecting what we saw upon entering. THIS PLACE IS CLEAN!!! Before the door shut, we heard a little voice say "be right with you"....that was nice. Our waitress, Joy, arrived and was pleasant as can be. I mentioned that this place was clean, one manager was going around checking under the table for gum. OMG...I don't EVER remember seeing any place doing that. DA BEST FRIED CHICKEN DINNER HERE. Not too pretensions for being on Capital Hill. Always busy, if the owner have energy and smarts, Please move to larger place. I ordered Fried chicken dinner. Went in because Seattle has only a couple 24/7 options. This is an absolute no go. Priced high for the surprisingly low quality food. The menu has changed from the old style and not in a good way. Took it back again and the poor woman that took my order was noticably embarrassed. She made sure it came back beyond perfect the 3rd time. The following week I ordered the clan chowder. I really don't have time for serious mistakes. There were no clams and it was cold. So cold the cheese I put in it didn't melt at all. So not only did I get taken for the soup, I was out my cheese as well. To late to go back because my lunch was over. I'll stick with the Cafeteria food at HMC

Other items I find decent include the filet of fish , biscuits with eggs, and coffee. I'm not sure if it's a problem with this particular restaurant or if McDonald's has gone down generally (like Starbucks no longer serves good coffee). Other than that it's a nice space and the food comes out reasonably quickly. Of note, there can be homeless outside, which can be a bit of a nuisance on the way in or out.
