NASTY!!! Very Hot. A/C not working. Place smelled bad, tables sticky & dirty while others were covered with dishes. We were the only people in the there. The breakfast plate I received was really greasy & pancakes flat and rubbery. One server had taken scissors and cut her shirt into a crop top which was not flattering by any means. When I drove up I was the only car in the parking lot, I know they saw me because I saw them through the doors. All 3 of them disappearred. Best experience our family has had ever at an Ihop, from start to finish. We were treated very kindly by all the staff and our waitress (Destiny) provided IMPRESSIVE service. We had originally planned to go to the Ihop in San Marcos but the wait was too long so we showed up here last minute and even though it was 19 of us, we didn't wait more than 20 mins for a table. We were very happy with everything and didn't even have the chance to need anything because that's how attentive everyone was. Also, the restrooms were very clean. This ihop oh boy what can I say I have given many many many chances I know if I'm going to order from here I do it an hour in advance and many times still not done when I get there, even if you go inside and eat forget it takes even longer. I went inside after I placed an online order took quite a while for a chicken breast plain and dry which was just that but also tasted like had gone bad, and the broccoli I got was definitely bad gonna post a pic below, also ordered a side salad I didn't get but after the wait I wasn't gonna wait around any longer. This has to be the worst ihop location I have been to honestly. Just ate breakfast at IHOP in Seguin, TX. It took us at least 10 minutes to get waited on (the people next to us left because the waitress never came to get their order). Then about 30 minutes to get our food which was cold when it arrived. The butter on the pancakes would not melt-should have sent them back, but my Grandson was really hungry and tired of waiting. 8/9 10:00pm - Whoever the manager was at this time needs a crash course in talking to young employees. In the middle of the restaurant she proceeded to shout and scold her employees in front of everyone seated. This was before we had even gotten our drinks taken down so I was quite surprised to be introduced to the atmosphere in that way. A large majority of the employees were at the oldest 16 so for her to be that ugly to them was just disgusting. Speaking of disgusting, the ham looked like it was just sliced off the pig. Never had an issue here- I live literally one minute away and this is my go to place for late night food. I've never been when its busy so I can't speak for that but I have been plenty of times when it's dead and I'm the only one inside. Always polite, always clean and always get my god very fast. When my friend asked about his extra egg that he ordered, he stated, "Is my extra egg that I ordered coming?" She replied, "you didn't order an extra egg" when our whole table heard him order it. He said he did order the egg and she kept replying "no you didn't" "no you didn't." 3. Waited another hour and a half for a refill and our check. She never once checked up on us to see if we were doing good or needed anything. We had to go up to the front to get out check, when we got there, she put the check on the table and walked off to talk to another waitress who was busy serving a table and never came back. A manager (I think) had to come and help us pay. I've been to this IHOP, and many others with the same size or a bigger group of friends and never had this kind of experience.
