My only bad thing to say is the New Vanilla Iced Coffee was not good! DO NOT RECOMMEND. My Gf had the Breakfast Sampler. & she also left a plate wiped clean! 7/16/25- Very busy today at around 10:30am. Had the 55 BLT w/ an egg and onion rings for breakfast. It was very tasty. I love ice tea and some places the tea tastes old or weak, but it tastes very fresh and a good flavor strength. A bit noisier than other tines that I've been here at this time. Very casual ambiance. Always looks clean around the tables. Since it was busy it take a little longer than usual to get my order placed, but the waitress was checking in and letting me know that she would be with me soon. I ordered the sirloin steak tips and scrambled eggs and the steak tasted weird, and I think whoever cooked it messed up and put sugar instead of salt! The waiter tried to gaslight me and said it's natural sweetest from the steak juice. This is not my first time eating steak and she tried to lie and say it was teriyaki sauce. No where on the menu description says there's teriyaki sauce and on it. She was nice at first but gave me an attitude when I tried to explain to her it tasted like really sweet like sugar was used on accident instead of salt. I still paid for meal, I wasn't trying to get a free meal but would like to be acknowledged and heard as a customer. I wasn't even rude to her and in fact very nice about it. We celebrated Christmas here a few years ago, and it was a great time with our group of almost 20. Came back yesterday with my lovely sister, and it was another hearty meal with fast, friendly service. We loaded up with fluffy pancakes topped with bananas, strawberries, and whipped cream. Delicious! My sis was giddy and excited for her hot chocolate, ham, hash browns, and eggs. My spinach and mushroom omelete was fluffy and satisfying. It was big enough to share. The bacon was crispy and just right. Wish we got our server's name. She was sweet, a little shy, and a breath of fresh air. read more

The food here is always great and fresh. The drinks are great too. The service is always nice, polite, fast, and accurate. I went here and usually order a hot chocolate and mozzarella sticks, but every now and then I'll get a burger entree or something new. When Willy Wonka came out I tried their Willy Wonka hot chocolate which tasted unique and amazing. The ambiance depends on time of day you go, but it can range from quiet and chill to loud and busy. This morning I ordered the steak tips with no mushrooms just onions. I received my plate undercooked asked for it to be cooked more it was still raw. They took it back and at this point my family was all done with their meals and honestly I was annoyed and hungry. The guy who answered the phone Was very nice but didn't get my Issue resolved. The manager on duty (11/27 @ 9:54am) didn't know the answer and didn't offer any resolution either. If you order online for that 20% off deal, you probably have to register your email and do not check out as guest. It doesn't tell you that anywhere at all. You end up submitting your payment and then wondering where your deal is that never went through. By the time you go back and forth trying to figure it out, your order is probably sent to the restaurant and it's too late to do anything. I would have been happy if they threw in an order of bacon..that would have been the 20% off and would have fixed the issue and this 3 star review. We just had some of the most exceptional service I've ever had at any restaurant by the lovely Robinette. She was working the entire place by herself. Didn't use a tablet, remembered everything! I have only ever seen that at a high end restaurant. She was running around that place, not like a chicken with her head cut off but like an athlete "in the zone". Whatever she gets paid, I'm certain it's not enough. I'm not much of an IHOP fan, but I'm now a fan of Robinette and would be willing to go back just to watch a master at work. read more

I've never encountered worse service in my life. We were there for over an hour and food came out cold and not cooked well. Half our order was missing. The waiter told us she was sorry but the cook is not communicating with her and is refusing to cook certain items. My son ordered a waffle and the cook told her 20 minutes and then proceeded to say forget it I'm not making it. This cook did this to multiple customers just refusing to do his job and the waiter was scared he was going to walk out. The place was in shambles people were upset and walking out. The whole place had two waiters and one cook as far as we can see. The pancakes for undercooked the drinks took forever. This place is a disaster. So disappointed. Service was excellent. Got seated quickly and waitress was friendly. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. Wife had 2+2+2 which she liked. I had crepes with chicken and pesto which I would recommend if you like crepes. This is one of the best breakfast restaurants in Tracy. read more

Ordered breakfast online for curbside pickup for my family this morning. I was given a time when the order would be ready for curbside pickup. When I arrived, i tried calling to let them know i was there for pickup. The phone number went to hold indicating someone will be available shortly. Waited 5 minutes in the car before walking in. Because the order was supposed to be ready at the pickup time, I didn't want the food to get cold waiting. When I walked in, the restaurant was busy. When I told the front desk I was there to pick up my order, they said it was not ready yet. It was 20 minutes ago when I ordered and still wasn't ready. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes before they brought out my to-go order. Luckily I wasn't dining in otherwise, I'd probably have to wait longer like an hour from ordering to being served the food at the table. The only good thing is that the food was still good and still warm. If you want to order to-go from IHOP, do not choose curbside pickup because no one will answer the phone when you arrive and expect to wait an additional 20 mintues or so from the ready time to get your order. read more

I'm surprised that I didn't review this yet. We were lucky to have something else open on Thanksgiving with the double trouble of Covid and Thanksgiving. We wanted to get take out so keep things as safe as possible. We ordered so much food! Cookies and cream pancakes, turkey dinner, bacon lettuce tomato and avocado sandwich, Mac and cheese, fettuccini with shrimp, and a kids spaghetti. Everything was packed safely and all ready when we went to pick it up. The gal working on Thanksgiving was super nice and super efficient. The food was fine. Nothing special but it fed everyone. The one complaint is the price of a small cup of Mac and cheese was $6 and it was so tiny and obviously Kraft macaroni and cheese. I probably wouldn't go back but it got the job done quickly and easily on Thanksgiving and everyone was satisfied with their meal. read more

I usually have had good experiences here but today we had a terrible experience as we were checking out. Our server claimed it was an "accident" but I doubt it she left with my card and returned with a tablet for me to sign when I finished signing at the end I realized she had given herself 18% tip without asking. Our plan was to leave cash but she took it upon herself to leave it and just give it to me to sign. She gave me no receipt and maybe I wouldn't have noticed but luckily I pressed continue and saw the whole check process on the tablet. I like breakfast items here, portions are really huge and I would like to call it as a brunch rather than a breakfast.

It's a chain restaurant so you have a baseline expectation for casual dining. The only thing that sets it apart would be the customer service. We got here this Saturday morning at 10:15am. we got our food at 11:05am. There were plenty of servers, but it seemed very few orders were coming out of the kitchen. (My booth view had a perfect view of the kitchen) And then -- the greeter guy who is trying to help out spills a strawberry shake on himself and the floor. I watched server after server walk by with no one stopping to clean up the spill. Nasty. Now folks are just tracking the mess. Eww.
