WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!! 6/28/23- one server only and who speaks/understands little English. Management, if any, won't respond I won't bother with specifics, but here's a rundown: Food was horrible/inedible. My burger was cooked to charcoal, fries cold and hard and onion rings on burger were rock hard, and literally 3 drops of bbq sauce (on a bbq burger!). Server brought me some on side out of fridge, so it was freezing cold. Husband's "ham and eggs" is such a disaster of a story I don't have energy to type it out. ONE cook (if you can call him that), ONE server. For the entire place!! Tables were not being bussed even after an hour. So we're not coming back ever. Too bad, it used to be pretty good. read more

That is exactly what you will get here. Sundays are busy, especially if you're with a group larger than 4 people. Food took a while to reach our table and was very cold by the time we got it. This used to be my favorite place for breakfast on the weekends! However I am sadly disappointed that they have changed some of my favorites, and NOT for the better!! The hash browns are no longer traditional made when you order, now they are clearly made ahead of time, in a large pan and cut into squares! Also the strawberries and cream crepes are no longer rolled up with the cream inside... Now they fold them in half and drizzles tiny bit of cream over the top!!! The service was great and the food was delicious I was wanting some breakfast for dinner and an omelet totally hit the spot. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is I must have hit luck of the draw for having not so great company in the restaurant as far as other customers go. One guy started throwing up at the table right next to me which triggered another guy to make gagging noises across from me a couple tables down. And I felt like the staff took a bit too long to clean up the sitting throw up. Other than that though everything was on point my food did not take long and everything tasted amazing my server he was wonderful I definitely will give this place another chance because I know those customers were not their fault. Came in for breakfast yesterday as I was out and about taking care of business. First time in here in a while although it is literally a block from my house. I was greeted immediately in a friendly way upon entry and seated with menus right away. Coffee was ordered and brought and they bring a whole pot which is very convenient. Coffee was hot and fresh and was tasty as well. I ordered an egg plate breakfast combo and asked to substitute biscuit and gravy for toast. This was no problem according to the server, Glendy, who was very friendly and accommodating. She also checked back with me several times to see if my meal was fine, and it was. Eggs and hash browns were done perfectly as ordered, and the biscuit and gravy were fresh and tasty. Also, there was just minimal black pepper in the gravy so it was quite tasty, not overwhelmed in black pepper as some places unfortunately do. All food was just a bit on the salty side, but not a deal breaker. Only one negative and one star off for this was the constant yelling back and forth from the staff. If one has something to say, walk over and have a conversation, don't yell and disturb the customers which I witnessed as I ate. Owner or leadership there needs to do some basic service training. Will I return? Yes, but in the meantime they need to put mufflers on the staff. read more

I love going to ihop. Their food is pretty consistent in all their locations and I always seem to end up hating myself for over eating. It's not a gourmet dining establishment, but it's comfort diner food which satisfies that Americana craving. Their staff is very friendly and I haven't encountered any issues despite what other reviewers wrote. The shopping plaza that ihop resides has your usual mix of dollar store, boba shop and massage parlor, which is also a front for consenting adult activities. Nothing says legitimate like blacked out windows framed with mismatched LED lights and a neon open sign. For entertainment, just in front of the restaurant are parking stalls that are just too narrow for most 4 wheeled vehicles, and it's amusing to witness people's interpretation of "parking". read more

Had breakfast here one sunday with a friend and was really craving some pancakes. We were seated right away in a booth. Place was starting to get busy being that it was mid-morning by the time we walked in the door. I wanted pancakes but I also wanted breakfast food so I was a little confused why I didnt see the option right away in the breakfast portion of the menu. Then I finally spotted the option I was looking for which allowed me to pick one of their signature pancake short stacks and also have bacon, eggs and hash browns. I went for the strawberry banana pancakes (2 pancakes, banana slices, some strawberries and strawberry pancake syrup). It was good and definitely hit the spot. I couldve used a little more whipped topping on top of that stack but it was still good. The eggs I ordered scrambled were pretty standard. It comes with 2 bacon strips and hash browns. They were your typical breakfast staples and tasted nothing out of the ordinary. Our server was friendly but was a little too exuberant on his part. We also ordered the same thing to go and wanted it brought out towards the end of our meal and he asked us if we wanted it when were just getting started. That was weird... Then he asked us again when I was about halfway through my meal and just told him maybe in 10 mins. We didnt have the heart to tell him we already told him when we wanted the takeout to be ready. Maybe he was new but I hope he catches on quick cause some people might not like being quizzed like that. This IHOP location is convenient. We were starving and we did not like the other places in the strip mall plus we happened to be parked right next to it so we went in for dinner. We have always enjoyed their breakfast, and since they serve it all day, that's exactly what we ordered. I really enjoyed my veggie omelette. Less than 400 calories and still very good and filling. Made with no yolk. Fruit on the side. The fruit was melon and pineapple. Our waitress was extremely attentive. Place is clean. Seats clean. Menus clean. Tables also clean. This is my local favorite place when I crave some breakfast & meal for late night food and treats. Since there are no restaurants that opens until late night or after hours, most of the time I have to drive over 2 miles. Instead, I visit this place all the time and I never regretted because it's kept as simple and never dissatisfied me. I always order the breakfast sampler that comes with hash brown, 2 eggs, 2 bacons, and 2 sausages. My next favorite food in their menu is the Nutella crepe with bananas, and I always add for extra whipped cream and some slices of strawberry. I never get sick of these, they are always right! The guy server who usually works at night to morning shift is very friendly and greets you with a smile in his face all the time. He kept on checking me regularly if I needed anything. Although I had lots of things to ask for him such as napkins, extra fork, to-go boxes, etc.. he was never bothered to service me fully! read more

It's years since I've been to this IHOP and it will be years before (if ever) I go back. I went for lunch and ordered the "new" (so the menu says) turkey, bacon and avocado wrap. The flour tortilla was soggy and I discarded it, opting to eat only the insides. Well, I soon discovered why the tortilla was soggy: the insides were drenched with dressing. The wrap should have been somewhat healthy but the quantity of dressing killed that. The turkey was good but the bacon was (besides being soggy) was chewy. The lettuce was, of course, soggy. Although I will be seventy-five in a few months, I don't look it. My waitress (who barely spoke English) brought my check which was for amount on the menu. I asked her about the senior discount (I really wasn't sure IHOP had one) and she took the bill back for corrections. It saved me a little over a dollar. There were two tables close to mine. One had already charged her meal and when she went to the cashier to claim her discount was told they couldn't refund her money but could give her a voucher for another visit. Do I hear too lazy to void her original charge and issue a new one? The restaurant was not at all busy so no other customers would have been held up. The other table was unaware of the discount and thanked me for alerting them to it. I wish I had read some of the other reviews first; I would have avoided a disappointing lunch. read more

I came in for breakfast & they had a 20 min wait. Once we were sat we were greeted by Heather. She was warm & welcoming. She recommended the breakfast sampler which gives you a breakfast sampler & the spicy poblano pepper omelette & extra hash browns. The food came out extremely quick. My husband and I are sick with Covid so we ordered food for delivery to our home. The very nice delivery man came right on time with the sealed bag of food. Everything was carefully packaged and fresh and hot. There were plenty of whipped butters, syrup, napkins and utensils with the pancakes, cheesy-eggs, sausage, bacon and hashed browns order.
