    Chicken Fajita Omlette
    Nina D.

Food was delicious ordered the chicken fajita omelette, side of bacon, and my daughter got the crepes. Had to wait a bit for our waiter as he was helping another table but someone else came over to get us drinks which helped with the wait. The place seemed decently clean and loved that they had tables indicated by a sign as to which ones were clean.

Typical Ihop. I've come here twice on a slow night with a large party and a couple of times on a busy day with groups of three-five. There's definitely a difference in service from morning shift and night. In the mornings, it's very fast paced. Servers are friendly and unbeat. And it's a classic ihop experience. At night--it's not a Waffle House vibe, but it's getting there. Aside from that service is often slow and understaffed for large groups, so just be prepared to wait long periods in between drink orders, meal orders, and actually getting your meal. They're often less attentive on drink refills. I will say that the last time I went with a large group, the server was quick about splitting checks and getting everyone cashed out. They do have specials constantly running. Monday is military appreciation--50% off Tuesday is customer appreciation--buy one entree get one free. Wednesday is Senior appreciation--50%off Thursday is student/faculty 50% off Friday is all you can eat pancakes $6.99 My go-to meals are the sirloin tip and eggs or the stuffed peach crepe special if it's running.

    Breakfast!!

It's an IHOP, probably very similar to every other IHOP in the country. Nothing special here, my eggs were undercooked, the red potatoes were not red potatoes but those little fried potatoes (home fries or whatever) that look like they came out of a freezer bag. My waitress was nice, forgetful & loudly talking across the restaurant to patrons & staff, but she was nice. Considering the time of my visit & how empty it was, I really was surprised that my meal ticket took as long as it did to come out & that the eggs were still undercooked & super runny. I ordered over medium, these eggs look like they may have spent 30 seconds on each side of a lukewarm grill. The coffee carafe was decent enough that I didn't need to overly doctor it with cream & sugar. Well heck, at least the pancakes were good!! Oh, as with most places I checkout in Virginia, the hot sauce selection was found to be lacking. They offer Cholula, Tabasco or Texas Pete. At least they had Cholula, but I'm a Tapatío guy.

French toast....yum! Tony ate all of it.

Took my son and his girlfriend out for breakfast. This visit was very pleasant and all kudos goes to our server. We were seated right away. Our server, Mike was awesome from the moment we were seated. He even asked which booth we wanted to sit at. We all had ordered coffee to drink and Mike bought them out with regular creamer. He overheard us talking about how we liked flavored creamers with our coffee and he brought us French vanilla and Hazelnut creamer. Brittanie ordered the steak omelette with pancakes. Tony ordered French toast with a side of hash browns, bacon and eggs. I ordered the Belgian waffle with eggs and bacon. We all enjoyed our breakfast. Mike was very attentive and made sure we had our coffee filled and he brought us extra napkins. Lastly, he gave us coffee to go! It was nice and hot. Great service!

I haven't been to IHOP in forever! I'm so glad my experience went well...First, we were seated right away with a big party (8). Bonus points! Then, I was blown away by all the different pancake flavors! I ended up going for the Big Steak Omelette and a side of regular pancakes. Portions were large and everything tasted great! My daughter ordered the funny face pancake and when it came out, it was shaped like Mickey Mouse! I don't know if all locations do this, but my girl's eyes lit up and she was beaming! It was shaped as a regular pancake with 2 silver dollar pancake ears! It definitely made her want to eat more of it too! :) Last, the servers were super nice. I especially liked one of the guys bussing tables. At first, I thought it was a manager because he came by and asked us how our meal was. Then, he said that he'd love to take some of our plates away so we could relax and just enjoy our conversation! I thought...wow, how polite! This is a great location to visit if you're an ihop fan!

So why 3 stars since this chain is a guaranteed crap shoot? Well, because of all the memories that were made here. There's a smoking section, which was crucial when I was a smoker. I mean come on, a cigarette after a big breakfast was phenomenal...PHENOMENAL. We all know what they serve here. At this particular establishment, their pancakes seemed lighter. Although I haven't been to enough IHOPs in Va Beach to pose a more accurate hypothesis. And I'm so thankful for that. This was the place were Dinio threw up as he walked out of the place. I immediately mentioned to the passers-by not to order anything with eggs. Those people looked horrified! It was so hilarious! He didn't yack because of the food of course. He was incredibly hammered. I was very surprised he held it in when he was face down at the table. You had me at hello...

I love corned Beef & Cabbage. Theirs was perfect. Served with whipped potatoes and whole carrots. I asked our server if the potatoes could be substituted for a double order of cabbage the next time and she said she was sure it could but may have a little extra charge. My Friend chose Jagerschnitzel. A German dish consisting of hand-flattened, fried pork loin, topped with onion and mushroom gravy. It was served with kraut, warm potato salad and green beans. She seemed pleased with her choice. Park Lane gives a welcoming vibe that makes me think of the old TV show Cheers. The kind of place that makes you feel like everyone knows your name. Sit at the bar, a high top table near the bar and watch The Big Game or take a seat on the other end of the restaurant and have a Family dinner or maybe a table for two. It would be dinner with a Spinach Salad and fruit. That worked well. The Cabbage was wonderful. I can't wait to return and try the Corned Beef & Cabbage. Service was excellent. Our server was Nathan and he was friendly and accommodating!! I like the amount of happy hour options compared to some other restaurants with just a few. We got burger sliders with fries, calamari, poke nachos, and chicken lettuce wraps. The calamari was ok but it was some very tough ones to chew and the portion was small. The tartar sauce that came with it was good and a little spicy. The poke nachos were decent, but I'm not a raw girly to often, so I'd definitely ask if it could be seared. I put it in the air fryer at home, and it was pretty good. My daughter enjoyed it!! The lettuce wraps were just ok, the chicken was kinda rubbery and chewy. The wonton shell was delicious though and the sauce was good. My sliders were supposed to be all the way with lettuce, tomato, onions, and secret sauce. But when they came to the table they were plain with no sauce. I started to eat and about 5 minutes later the food runner brought my correct order. They said they gave me the table next to ours food. So the waiter came back to take it back, and I asked if they'd throw it away? He said yes! Which kinda bothered me. I asked since it was going in the garbage and it wasn't my mistake, could I keep it. He said the manager wouldn't allow it. With inflation why would the manager rather trash perfectly good food? It makes me nervous when restaurants take food back. If it's sat down on a table it shouldn't be returned, just take the loss, because how do I know your not going to replace it and serve it to someone else. I'm not a fan of that!! I'm not accusing them of doing that, but that's the thoughts that run through my mind in situations like that. The table was spacious at the booths and it was clean inside. There's street and garage parking. We went on a good day when it wasn't a wait for a table. The hostess was very nice. She was cheerful and engaging! I'd go back to try other happy hour dishes. Check them out!!

I have had a few visits here now, and the most recent visit was on January 12, 2026. At the beginning of each new year, I like to try a place that I have never been to before, so January 1, 2026, was the first time I had come here. My mom was with me. Depending on when you come in general, parking can be limited at times with all the other businesses in this shopping center. Upon first look at the place from the outside, you can see the name and logo pretty easily. It looks similar to other places that happen to be in this same shopping center. We got here around 8 am on that first visit. When we came inside, it wasn't too busy yet, likely due to others probably still sleeping after being up past midnight for the new year. The inside of the place has a modern diner type of vibe, which fits the restaurant well. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Brooke came over pretty quickly and asked us what we would like to drink. I just do my usual of water with lemon, and my mom had gotten coffee. It would take us a little while to choose since there lots of good items to choose from. When she came back to check again, we were ready this time. I figured I'd get something I don't normally do, so I went for the French Toast Combo with scrambled eggs, bacon, and baked apples. My mom decided to go with the Ultimate Skillet with rye toast. The food would come out pretty quick. It was around ten minutes or so. Both breakfast entrees looked really good and they were hot. It felt like an indulgence when I started on the French toast since it has been a long time since having it. The baked apples were great too, and something else I don't normally have. I will note that I didn't get a blood sugar spike after this meal either that day. My mom enjoyed the Ultimate Skillet as much as I did with the French Toast Combo. After the experience from that first visit, we came back to try the lunch/dinner menu options for dinner that day. This visit was on January 12, 2026. After being seated initially, we moved over to a table since the booths were a bit tight. Kellie was our server on this visit. She asked us what we wanted to have to drink, and I went with water with lemon and my mom went with a coke. After taking some time to look over the menu, we were ready to order. My mom decided not to have too much, so she just went with the Loaded Baked Potato side item. I decided to try the Chipotle Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich with the homemade chips as the side. Just like the last time, it took about ten minutes or so for the food to come out. The sandwich I had was really good, and so were the homemade chips. This time, this meal did spike my blood sugar levels, but it was so good. My mom told me afterwards that the loaded baked potato she had come out cold. It was then that we let the server know, and she asked if she wanted to get it redone. She said no but wanted to take it home instead. The server did take off the cost of that item. It was likely due to it sitting before my sandwich was ready to bring them out together. Mom did get a box to bring it home and had it later that evening, and she said it was good when it was heated up at home too. Overall, we have had a few very good experiences here. The food and service were good, and the issue for my mom was handled well too. That shows they truly care about the experience of the visitors here. Both menus may be just two sides, but there is quite a bit to choose from. I think anyone would find something they would like here. There is one thing I want to note when it comes to paying. There is a 3% surcharge added to the total including taxes if you use a credit card instead of cash. In the end, if you are looking for a diner type of place, this one is worth checking out.
