Great place for breakfast! Granted this location gets very busy but every server we've had has been very nice and attentive. Our food always comes out fresh and delicious, if there's a problem the staff is quick to fix it.

    Breakfast Sampler my way, $11.49

When I want breakfast for dinner, this is one of my go to restaurants. Tonight I got my usual, the breakfast sampler, eggs over medium with two bacon, four sausage links, hash browns, pancakes and a side of cream gravy. Eggs were cooked to order and everything was of a good temperature. Service was good. IHOP will stay on my list of breakfast favorite restaurants.

The staff was fast and efficient (not to get confused with rushing). The building inside consisted of 3 TVs, a soda fountain, and other common appliances in a fast food place. The roof inside looks incomplete but minor to the eating experience. The food I ordered was the Half Philly / 5 Wings Combo (which included an empty cup) and Boss Rings (onion rings) and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and piping hot and almost burned my mouth! (I'm okay. This was a good thing). The Half Philly had a punch of flavor and the dry lemon pepper seasoning (there was a variety of wet and dry seasonings) was great, yet for my taste it was a bit salty and oily (though it doesn't affect rating because it's a personal opinion). The fries were okay as they lacked salt but were surprisingly crunchy. I assumed the cook tried to compensate the salt for lemon pepper seasoning yet it wasn't enough. Though, it is justificable because I arrived and ordered at the establishment near closing time. The onion rings were crunchy and had a funnel cake like flavor and could fill up a person's stomach. The oil was not excessive but rather light which is more suitable for heath-conscious individuals. Thank you so much for the dine-in experience. I look forward to visiting again.

The Chinese and Mexican Salads are both amazing! Worth the money! The chicken salad in the case or on the sandwich is another favorite! Get the Blums cake! It is worth every calorie. This most recent visit we skipped it in favor of the strawberry cake which was stale and a big let down. I called later to let them know it should probably be pulled and should have been so a day or so earlier. I get it--it's hard to keep cake fresh without a lot of preservatives, but even at room temp it was stale. Blums cake will never let you down, though. I've had the burger, side lobster mac and cheese, and the Hudson salad here, both of which were delicious. Their cocktails are always a hit, too. I love their French 75 and Lemon Drop martini. Huge plus that their martinis are half off during happy hour. The last time I visited, I arrived around 45 minutes after the rest of the party. Our server immediately noticed and greeted me, showing how attentive they are. The food also came out pretty quickly. The first time I came here though, they were a bit stingy to seat us at a booth during happy hour, but asides from that one experience, I have no complaints about this location. There's a decently sized parking lot available (though it can fill up), along with street parking. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Hudson House, especially at the FW location!

With indoor seating, a cozy patio, and tables on the lawn, we chose the latter for a peaceful view of Lake Worth lake. The setup creates the perfect backdrop, complemented by a refreshing breeze. Both times we've been, there was live music--this time, karaoke--which made for a fun atmosphere. Service started off slow, but thanks to Trisha, our waitress, the experience was completely turned around. She was attentive, friendly, and truly saved the day by quickly taking care of us, after we had waited quite a while. Her warmth and efficiency made the visit extra special. As for the food, we went with our usual--the three-piece catfish basket, which comes with French fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw. Everything was fresh and delicious. The margaritas were just as enjoyable! After dinner, we took a short walk down to the edge of the bluff overlooking the lake and relaxed on a nearby bench, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect way to end a wonderful evening. Highly recommend this spot for its views, laid-back vibe, and good food!Would definitely return.

The fried mozzarella was perfect and we loved that it came with pesto in addition to marinara and ranch. We got the caprese too and it disappeared almost as quickly. Pro tip- make sure you keep the pesto off of the mozzarella to have a little extra for the caprese. It doesn't *need* it, but it's good pesto! We each ordered the pecan old fashioned and they were dangerously delicious- not overly sweet like I was worried about. The branded orange peel was a nice, fun touch. We got the lasagna and the ragu. You know the lasagna was good when your man was talking about it two hours later! I was really impressed with the amount of meat in the ragu- and it melted in your mouth. The paperdelle was a smidge over cooked, but I almost don't want to mention that because it was so good. And the portion was huge-SO much food! We sat near the bar/kitchen so we saw all the food coming out and it all looked good. We were stuffed but ordered the tiramisu anyway because it looked so good. And it was. The service is what really set these guys apart. The staff worked really well together and everyone was taking care of each other's tables. The manager (owner?) seemed to know about half the people in there- it was packed- and was still working just as hard as the rest of the staff. We felt incredibly well taken care of and couldn't be happier to find something so good, so close to home. Best advice is to come early because it gets busy!
