Calamari app was fresh and it was a LARGE portion, marinara with it had OK flavor. I really hate having to give a 3 star review considering this is my favorite pizza place in town. For a typical pizza order, they do great. Your basic cheese or pepperoni pizza is spot on. Once you order any pizza with the slightest bit of moisture in a topping, you get a soggy crust and a wet box to bring it home in. Tonight I ordered a Gorgonzola Pizza with added Ham and Broccoli. Flavor is great, but the crust is wet and doughy in the center. Very sad. I love their pasta dishes, soups, entrees, and pretty much anything I've tried. It's just a disappointment that a pizza place can't make a pizza with veggies on it and keep a crispy crust. Great food, but a bit pricy especially for lunch. (they charge typical dinner prices $10-$12 and $5 just for a cup of Soup) The long time owner is very nice when he's there. The cooks are nice, but the waitresses are pretty rude and very slow and also not attentive enough. (a lot of flagging down involved for anything needed, whether they're busy or not, but we always leave an ample tip regardless.) They choose who to be nice and helpful to for sure. I've seen them be that way toward regulars, of course and older customers they think have a lot of money. Though the bathroom is nice and always clean. And another big plus is they now have a playground out back past the patio seating area, for kids to play on after eating! Better to do take out because of the waitresses. So only 3 stars because of them! read more

I don't normally ever eat here, but the employees are nice people. Just don't get the 'speciality' bbq chicken pizza. It does not look appetizing and does not taste great either. My fiancé called to order a pizza and asked if he could give his credit card so when I went to pick up the pizza, I wouldn't have to pay for it. The guy said that was fine and took down all of his credit card information. Then I showed up to pick up the pizza thinking it was all paid for. The guy behind the counter said it wasn't paid for. I was very confused thinking that it had been. The guy said that my fiancé was very insistent so he just took down his information but didn't charge him. So basically I had to pay for the pizza. As much as I love their pizza, I was upset because my fiancé was told it was taken care of but it wasn't. Next time tell the person you don't take credit cards over the phone. read more

Favorite pizza restaurant in the world! The food is delicious italian fare. The room is comfortable without being pretentious or fake. The staff is friendly and warm. The food is delicious, incase you missed that at the begining. Beyond that though, this is a business with a heart! Vincenzo supports his community, donating sauce to school fundraisers, pizzas to scouts, and time to his neighbors. Not a fan at all. Stopped here on the way back from Providence on Friday 3/25. The waitresses were loudly complaining that the place was dead. It felt awkward sitting down as one of only two tables at 820pm on a Friday night with four waitresses sweeping and cleaning all around us. (I even checked the hours on Yelp to make sure they were open until 10:30pm). While we were still eating, they started getting the vacuum out. It was awkward feeling like they couldn't wait to be rid of us so they could go home. One of the waitresses even dropped the F bomb several times when talking about how she really wanted a vacation, in earshot of our table. Another male waiter then started talking about chicken and how "everyone needs to get that shit." No idea what he was talking about, but again the restaurant is silent and we can easily hear the wait staff swearing. (Our waitress, Emma, was okay but just seemed bored and wasn't very attentive.) When the pizza came, I was again disappointed. It's pretty much exactly like Papa Gino's pizza, although Papa Gino's is better. Even the atmosphere was kind of bizarre. The decor is seriously outdated and the building is in need of being completely redone. We drive this route often, and we were pretty excited to find a new spot to stop for dinner every once in awhile. Unfortunately, it won't be Illianos. We won't ever come back here. read more

Very disappointed. This restaurant got very good reviews so we went there for dinner while traveling. We were seated quickly but then waited forever for our order to be taken. I noticed other diners had drinks while reading the menu, we were not given that option. Our dinner was not good. I didn't like it. I found it to be a sorry excuse for thin crust pizza. Just not up to par at all with what I've come to expect from the style. This was my first at Illiano's and was excited to try their food. We arrived around 7:45pm and ordered our pizza. Ten minutes later, a big family with about 10 people showed up after us and ordered their food. They got there after us and but were able to get their 3 pizzas before us. Why?! I asked one of the waitresses where our food was and all she could tell me was that they were busy. Really? Then our waitress comes out with our pizza 45 minutes later, telling us that they couldn't find the pizza that we ordered - you've gotta me kidding me. I have never waited this long for a pizza in my life. The pizza was not even that great. If you want great pizza and great service, I recommend jack's brick oven pizza. Worst Italian food I have ever had!!! Would rather have generic sabarros then this! Long day at work, I used the online order feature and ordered fried calamari and manicotti! Calamari was soggy filled with water and not seasoned, the manicotti was canned sauce watered down no seasoning in the filling only thing good was the pasta was cooked properly. Everything went smoothly from order to pickup. Both the pizza and the antipasto were very good.

For what it is, it's great. Let's be objective. The pizza is great. Families all around us, including mine really enjoyed it when we were there. The garlic knots smelled awesome. I just want to straighten one thing out here. The gorgonzola is more of a three (or 4) cheese pizza, it's not like the gorgonzola pizzas I have had at other restaurants. It has regular cheese, ricotta, and gorgonzola, and it's really good, but they should rename it. That's my only complaint. Staff was very accommodating with our large group. From the outside Illiano's looks like your average pizza place. In the front opening there are booths where you're able to sit and then there is also a back seated area of the restaurant as well. The menu is pretty straight forward as far as Italian food. I ordered the Fettuccine Carbonara- it was absolutely delicious but I actually ended up getting sick from it. I don't think my body is used to that rich of a food. There are tons of choices to choose from. I would definitely go back to try more that the menu has to offer. read more

Poor service- do yourself a favor and go to any of the other Illiano's establishments before this one. We entered at 2:30 today, but we never ate here because we waited over 5 full minutes for anyone in the almost empty restaurant to take our order at the counter. This would have been fine if they were short-staffed or busy. They weren't. They two guys working the counter were chatting when we came in and them proceeded to do side work(wiping counters, building boxes, etc), even after we explained that we would like to order at the counter. Came here with a sister, baby, and parents after a 3 hour road trip. Prices were reasonable on the menu but the specials were pricey. Love their pizza!!! Great customer service!!! Wonderful garlic knots!!! But the real surprise is their Italian cuisine outside of the usual fast food!! They have a chicken tortellini soup with hand made fresh cheese tortellini that is out of this world!!! Their pasta vodka is great!!
