I stopped by Illy Caffè at The Venetian for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience! Since I wasn't sure what to order, I asked the server for a recommendation, and he suggested the Caramello Macchiato. It was absolutely amazing--smooth espresso, sweet caramel, and a hint of vanilla, perfectly balanced to satisfy any coffee lover. I also ordered the avocado and arugula toast, which was delicious. The portion size was generous enough to make it a satisfying meal. Highly recommend if you're looking for a hearty, enjoyable breakfast or snack. The café was welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.
I love stopping at illy Caffè - The Venetian whenever I'm at The Venetian Resort. It's the perfect little break from the hustle and bustle of the Strip. Their gelato is always fresh, creamy, and full of flavor -- such a simple treat but it hits every time. Whether you're walking through the shops or just need a quick pick-me-up, it's such a great spot to pause and indulge. The quality is consistently good, and it feels like a little taste of Italy right in Las Vegas. Definitely one of my go-to stops every trip!
We walked the illy Cafe often since it's in the between the Palazzo and Venetian towers. The Gelatos and Sorbet options are plentiful. The lines always seem very long because people crave sweets into the later hours of Vegas nights. The location can definitely get crowded and impede the foot traffic. They do have tables indoors too but it's a challenge to find seating. We've visited a few times. The service is fine and try their best to get customers served. However, the prices are steep. We ordered 2 single scoop items and it was almost $16-17 and I think credit card has a service charge. The single scoop cups are tiny and just don't seem worth it. I loved the selection, but the scoop size didn't match up for me. I understand The Vegas Strip prices are inflated, but after that recent visit I rather do more research to find some other desserts to satisfy our cravings.
We drop by to get a quick snack and coffee in the afternoon, the place was fairly crowded and the staffs were very busy serving customers and didn't have time to keep the cafe clean so there are leftover plates and cups on empty tables, not a good scene. Their cakes and coffee are about average, considering it's in the hotel food court this is expected. Wish they could keep the place more tidy.
My daughter and I had just come from enjoying the Arte Museum and wanted dessert, so we went across to the Cosmopolitan to see what was there. We were headed to another dessert place but illy Cafe was right at the entrance there, so we stopped to look at what they had. All of the desserts looked great! The wait for the woman on the gelato side to approach the counter we were standing at was the issue. There were at least 3 people working behind the counter. They made eye contact but seemed preoccupied with invisible work. We decided to walk away to see other options around. My daughter wanted the illy gelato more than the other place, so we went back. This time there was a family in line and one guy didn't hesitate to help them so I figured maybe he would help us too. He did. My daughter got 3 scoops and I got the caramel cheesecake. When he gave us our desserts he told us the lady (who ignored us) would ring us up. I asked her what coffee drink would pair well with my cheesecake. She said, "I can't change it." which made no sense so I figured she didn't understand what was asking. I didn't want to try to ask again so I just ordered the rose latte. My daughter got an iced matcha. She rang us up and gladly swung that monitor around for me add a tip and sign my name. After being ignored and she made no effort to understand my question about drink suggestions, I didn't want to leave a tip but I did. The cheesecake was good. The drink was ok. My daughter enjoyed both her gelato and matcha. $42.96 for those 4 items. Would we go back? No.
The gelato here is genuinely excellent--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. I tried a couple of scoops and they were a highlight of my visit, definitely some of the better gelato I've had. Unfortunately, the employee who served me wasn't very kind or welcoming at all. They seemed rushed and a bit grouchy, which made the whole experience feel unwelcoming. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but it really brought down what could have been a great visit. Not sure if I would come back for the gelato alone if I was in the area, but the service at least on this day could use some improvement.
Alright, is it 2 stars, maybe not but I don't feel right giving it 3. To pay that much and wait that long for a below mediocre egg sandwich is such a let down. I was wondering if they were squeezing the eggs out of the chicken in the kitchen. I found much better breakfast options for the rest of my trip. This place is a tourist trap and a hard pass for me. If you're at Cosmopolitan you're better off going to a random Sportsbook for breakfast.
Just want a quick bite and was next to illy. So decided to get a breakfast sandwich. The ice cream line is long and needed to wait in that line to get to the cafe. Once we get up front, was told it would take another 20 min. OMG... i already wasted time in line and went through with it. They have a screen on the payment asking for tip! WHAT!?! You need to look down to see the skip button. What service has been provided to ask for tips???? Then saw the receipt that a 2% fee is charged for credit card. I'm so mad now. I haven't even gotten the food and is already pissed off. Food didn't look good.
This was a great place to stop and do some work while at the Venetian/Palazzo. I grabbed a drip coffee and have to say it was one of the better coffees I've had in a while. Super smooth and so easy to drink. I sat at a booth my friends to chat. When they left to gamble, I was able to connect to the hotel wifi and do work and take meetings/calls. Lovely staff who cleared and cleaned our table for us when asked. :) read more

Well this is sad.... Every time I'm in Vegas; I make it a point to come to this cafe.... This time sheer disappointment Baristas was passively rude when I asked for a cup for "here" not to-go. I ordered avocado toast Bread stale and thin Olive oil drizzled rancid.... Very bitter Egg was not boiled well with a gray ring (like it was in a fridge for a while) When you pay over $10 for a toast you want a thick sourdough fresh bread and a fresh boiled egg not refrigerated stale flavors Super disappointing read more

I LOVE ILLY coffee ! I wish they had an illy cafe literally everywhere ! I first tried illy in Paris about two years ago and they have the best Italian coffee! So I was super excited when I found out the had a shop in palazzo /venetian hotel in Las Vegas where we are staying ! I love the cappuccino it's the only thing I get ( just add some sugar and it's perfect !) I did try the vanilla cafe latte but I preferred the cappuccino over it . We also tried the avocado toast ( you can add a hard boiled egg for $2.50 extra) . I really enjoyed the avocado toast with arugula they topped it with Parmesan and everything seasoning and a little lemon , and it was perfect ! Highly recommend. My only thing was the toast was a little too cooked for my liking . I also ordered the egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant which is a large croissant and was delicious . again the croissant was a little too cooked for my liking but still very good ! Highly recommend as well . Overall 5/5 for the coffee and affordable prices ( esp for Vegas ) , 4/5 for the food , staff was nice, but 3/5 for atmosphere since it's mostly grab and go / self serve , Limited seating , and they use buzzers when food is ready and silverware /plates are mostly plastic . I would have loved a more sit down and get service option. But it's great for a quick breakfast / grab and go before going out into the strip /shopping. read more

Medium Cup $8.19+tax+2% credit card fee. You can pick 2 flavors with the medium flavor but she only gave me a little of the 2nd flavor tiramisu and I am glad. Tiramisu was grainy. Bf said his cookies n cream was grainy as well. Raspberry Truffle was good. read more

I tried the Nutella coffee crunch & hazelnut gelato flavors- the hazelnut was much better. There was a good pull to the gelato but it was way too foamy and lukewarm for me to say this is worth returning to. read more
I stopped by Illy for a hot latte. The drink was decent, but the wait was longer than expected. It wasn't peak hours, yet we still had to take a buzzer and wait for the drink. I like their espresso cups display on the counter, it makes you feels they have the best coffee in town. They offer plenty of ice cream flavors along with some delicious-looking desserts. The staff were friendly, but I do wish the drinks could come out a little faster. read more
Illy Caffe is a coffee and gelato shop located in the Palazzo part of the Venetian just by the seasonal showcase display. After lunch we wanted to try some gelato and with all the flavors on display we stopped here. Here is a little different than other gelato shops and they don't give sample tastings. Here you wait in line, then you order and pay. Then with your "Paid" receipt you wait in the gelato line and get your gelato and if there is room inside you seat yourself. I tried a pistachio gelato. It was creamy and was served at the right temperature. It had a good amount of pistachios in it but the base flavor was hard to identify and was strange to me and my husband. My husband had that Italian flavor stracciatella (chocolate shred). He said it was ok. When we were done we cleaned up our table. Maybe some flavors are better than others here? read more
$11 for a tiny cup of gelato?? No thanks! Fooled me once; ok. Never again. The menu does not say that. You order your gelato and they hand it to you, and then wait a ridulous amount of time to checkout. I guess that's why. It's like a bathroom cup of gelato. It's ok, at best. read more
I ordered one of the cold cappuccino specialties. The drink has coffee with blended ice. It was strong and gave me energy to stay up late to watch a show. The negative part is, their staff doesn't have good customer service skills. They just take your order, pay and that's it. read more

It's Illy! And it's a cafe! Of course I love this. Espresso, gelato and all things Italian cafe that opens late and in Palazzo. Since I don't do alcohol, this was the best thing during my conference week. Roll down from my room, look at the oz fountain, stopped by next door for pretty looking donuts. But actually sit down here and have an espresso! Or gelato. At midnight- the best vibes! What's not to like! read more
We were walking through restaurant row between the Palazo and Venetian hotels when we saw a beautiful display of gelato. I ordered a small raspberry truffle gelato and my sister ordered a small strawberry cheesecake gelato. My gelato was amazing and I tasted my sister's and her was creamy and delicious. Service was a bit slow with about 5 customers waiting for the gelato service but luckily he was very quick to get through everyone that was waiting. read more

My hubby and I stopped by for a scoop of Gelato--he chose Rocky Road and I went with Butter Pecan. The gelato was rich, creamy and not overly sweet. The portions were generous and we really enjoyed our treat. read more

Looks are definitely deceiving. I'm uncertain whats the deal with the refrigeration process here but the gelato flavors (birthday cake and cookies and cream) are both very grainy and low flavor profile. The taste reminds me of defrosted dessert and frozen again perhaps multiple times. It's very unfortunate something so enticing is poor in taste. I ended throwing it away after trying both flavors. I hope they figure out a better way to preserve the gelato without compromising the quality. read more

Just what I needed. We are staying at the Palazzo, and this place is located just beyond the casino. The line at Starbucks was ridiculous, while I only waited for 3 minuts to give my order. My croissant sandwich was quite tasty. Bright interior, quick and easy. read more
In an era of Starbucks, Illy is the real star. With lines of 50-100 people because of the volleyball tourney, short lines, great service, and delicious espresso, crepes, and breakfast sandwiches awaited us every morning, steps from one of the 3 Starbucks at Mandalay. I couldn't recommend them more. I personally enjoyed several soy lattes and a couple egg, cheese, and sausage croissants. Definitely Che k this spot out! read more
My friends and I stopped here to get gelato one afternoon, which was the perfect afternoon. Pick me up. There was a short line, but you order at the register and then they will bring it out to you near the gelato counter. I ordered the stracciatella which was a classic Italian gelato flavor with vanilla and chocolate bits in it. This was very good. read more

Pretty rude staff and impatient cashier. How are you going to tell us to come to the register while we are looking at the menu and still get mad when we are glancing at the menu. Went to the gelato area, waited a while (Monday at 9:30 PM, no other patrons were there). Then a guy came over and put gloves on, so I asked for a sample of one flavor. The response was a cold, "We don't do samples here." For a $9 single scoop with bad reviews on the taste, I think that is quite telling. TBH this looks like the exact same brand as Cocolini - even the font is the same for the flavors. That one also has terrible reviews where people purchased and threw it out. Tried a chai latte; it was very good flavor-wise, but wow, it was expensive. The gal barista was nice, glad I found her to order from. They charge here for every little thing! 22c for credit card? My blended coffee was excellent....5 stars in fact. Then why the 1 star review? Yesterday, i charged the coffee to our room and was still charged a cc fee. Not cool, but whatever. After dinner, craved ice cream. Bummer they dont give tasting samples...perhaps costs another $.05? peanut butter was ok, but not outstanding. This morning, paid cash and still charged a cc fee. So this time, asked cashier whats up with that? Im not trippin over the $.12, its the principal. Cashier explained that the store is owned by an individual, not the casino. Despite complaints, his nickel and diming (literally) practice has been ongoing. Doing so multiplied by hundreds of customers / day likely adds up to a healthy sum that goes straight into his pocket. Anyhow, not surprised by this stingy policy. Hope he changes his greedy ways.i read more
