I asked for a pedicure she gave me the sheet and i said just the normal standard pedicure, comes out wax so i assume that's their normal pedicure?? got charged $33 for a normal polish pedicure, she barely even cut my cuticles. Then for hands i asked for a gel manicure, my nails were too short for gel so she said to do acrylics. I asked her if this design was fine or too difficult it was all red with one white heart she said easy. My nails look awful they're all pointing up, she then tried doing the heart and I said no I want it like the picture, it wasn't even symmetrical, she said just stick with the red???? $55 for this set Literally the worst sets i've ever gotten, All my nails point up. read more

The quality of service has decreased tremendously since the last few times I've come to this salon for a manicure and/or pedicure. I was really looking forward to a nice pedicure today as I needed to unwind and relax from all responsibilities but I ended up having to babysit. The pedicurist cut and filed all my nails opposite lengths and when I kindly asked if she could make them even or similar to others, she didn't understand me (due to the language barrier). Moved to the area about 4 months ago and wanted a salon close by the house. The first time I went I can't remember who my nail tech was but she did a great job on my fill and pedicure. Second time I went I found Tina. Tina is awesome and I HIGHLY recommend going to her. If I was just reviewing her it would be 5 stars all the way. She's friendly (actually talks to you) and remembers things you tell her. Super sweet woman and very good at her job. The third time I went I made the mistake of not making an appointment with Tina...and got some other woman. SHE WAS TERRIBLE. I never got her name so I couldn't tell you who she is but she convinced me I needed a new set, which was probably true so I went with it. I told her SEVERAL times that I liked the darker pink. She proceeds to put white tips on my nails and then pull out the clear, I tell her I want the darker pink. She says that it will make the white not white and the only way I can get the darker pink now is by taking all the nails she just put on off and using the clear tips. WTF, I told her 5 times what I wanted and she still messed up. I decided to go back and see Tina and I am now happy again with the place. They are always booked up so I believe most of the other girls are good there also. If you don't have an appointment I would recommend going on a Monday or Tuesday but if you want to go another day call and make and appointment. Make it with Tina and you will leave happy. read more

ive been here twice in the 2 months and absolutely love it! I went to the new place around the corner before I came to image nails and can definitely say I like image nails better. First, my shellac didnt peel off within a week nor did they polish on my cuticle at image nails. Second, my leg massage was wonderful! I had a young girl there, not sure her name but she was so attentive. Third, the workers are extremely friendly! I was hesitate to come here based on one of the reviewers review (shanna n.) But honestly, after visiting image nails, I don't the slightest idea what her review is about since they don't offer the fish pedicure. Their place is not as new, but its very clean. The other place of course is cleaner since they've been open for only half a year but sometimes apperance doesnt matter as long as I get my money's worth, and so far, my shellac on hands and feet still looks good after 2.5 weeks. I went here several weeks ago with a girlfriend and her 4 year old son. They were having a grand opening special (20% off), and wanted to give it a try! My friend ended up having to wait over 30 mins after I started mine even though we'd confirmed appointments much earlier in the day. The lady that was helping me was aweful!! For the life of me, I would give this place another shot since i really wanted to like it, and its so close to where i work. But I can't remember her name! She would completely forget what she was doing, what was needed for the spa treatments, and even left off one of the main 'extras' that comes with the spa manicure. I never once got offered water and finally remembered to ask for one when a lady next to me was offered one. My 'massage' was about 2-3 mins total (supposed to be 10). My friend, after waiting a while, ended up with a great lady who did a great job with everything. One of the worse parts about my lady was the sheer level of distracted ness. I'm paying a lot of money for the 'full experience'. She spent the first 2/3 of the spa pedi talking off and on to a guy carrying entire (dead) fish to the back of the store. (This was also weird?? Fish stored in the back of the nail salon? Really?. After the guy came in abiut 10 times with huge loads of large (whole) fish, my lady talked to him almost every time and completely forgot what she was doing and would skip things. I had to remind her several times and even missed out on one of the treatments. But by then, I was so over it that I just decided to leave a low tip. (I have never left such a low tip before at any previous experience). Overall the facility is new, clean, and very pretty. (Which is the only thing keeping me from a one star review). And if id ended up with the lady my friend had, it would have been a 3-4 star experience (she had to wait a LONG time for a confirmed appointment). I have been coming here for years. I have tried other places but nothing compared to the cleanliness of this place. I have to be careful where I do my pedicures since I am easily prone to infection but I have never had an issue at this place. Not only are they super clean but the customer services is great! This is my first time to come during the week and I am getting 5 star treatment. It gets very busy on the weekends so make an appointment if that is when you like to get your mani/pedi. This place has seriously gone down hill. First of all there were clipping from previous clients all over the table. Secondly I asked for a dip manicure and somehow ended up getting something that was half dip/half gel?! The technician put a gel polish on top of the dip powder and then dried it with a UV lamp... Then color the technician used was completely different than the color I asked for and when I complained about it she laughed and said at least it's pretty here's a $10 discount. I've been coming here for 4 months constantly and have never had a problem until today. I went to get a full set and pedicure and brought a picture of exactly what I wanted. Long story short the person who did my pedicure made all 10 of my toes bleed and didn't say anything about it she was super rough the entire time scrubbing and massaging and the person who did my nails made one nail so much shorter then the rest I had to have her make all of them that short and they look absolutely terrible. Today my mom and I went to this salon to get our nails done. We are not regulars here anymore and we haven't been for years because 5 years ago when we came it was sub par to say the least. Gradually I have found places that are better and better and who give you way more bang for your buck. Today I went in with shellac on and bare toe nails. The place felt dirty and the workers were rude. I got a basic manicure and pedicure and it still cost me to get the shellac taken off. The technician who did mine was super careless with my nails and they ended up looking not like they should have. When I asked her to fix something, she pulled my hand back and said "well I'm not done yet!" Image nails is seriously one of the worst places I have ever been to and it was far too expensive for the quality I received. For good manicures in Houston I would highly suggest going elsewhere. The customer service has been down recently. I had appointment but still waited for 35 mins to get in. My pedicure seem like take forever because that lady ( I guess she is the owner) had to pick up n answer the phone. She yell at the other lady by Vietnamese like she was gonna kill her. I could tell by looking at her face .Then, I wanted my toe nails shorter n even, she said that was it either I liked them or not The color was gone after 2 days. Asking the neighbors where to get my nails done, they all said Image Nails & more specifically the ladies all said to ask for Tina so I did and I still don't see anyone but her, 4 years later!! She is simply the best I've ever been to! She is a perfectionist, is very fast & is great to chat with! It's amazing that she remembers such little things I have said at the previous appointment, she really cares about her customers! I decided to try a new place since it had good reviews. I called and asked what the basic pedicure included and she said everything (taking off polish, cuticles, trimming nails, callus treatment). She asked if I was coming in and I said I'd be there in a few minutes, she asked for my name and thanked me (so nice!). I get there and the place was empty but looked clean and nice decor and furniture. I tell her I have old shellac polish on my feet and says ok! and she starts taking it off and when she's done with one foot she tells me it'll be 5$ more because it's shellac. I asked why she didn't tell me before she started and she just kept saying "yeah, 5$ more because it's shellac". When she realized I was upset, she told me that if I got shellac manicure that she won't charge me the 5 extra dollars. I wasn't even planning on getting a manicure today because I misplaced my debit card but had some cash. My nails were okay, nothing bad but weren't great either. I ended up paying 50$ for both (a little overpriced considering I got the basic pedicure). The shellac in my hands looked like they needed another coat but I was honestly not wanting to argue, which is why I'm writing this review and never going there again. read more
