    Chicken adobo plate

Heavy traffic on Wurzbach Pkwy on my way home the other day took me on a detour the other day to Weidner Rd off IH35 headed toward Windcrest and at the corner of Weidner Rd and Granberry I saw a small sign that said Filipino food. So today I looked it up and found there is a food truck tucked away on Granberry called Imelda's Food Fiesta and I went by today and I am so glad. Best finger lumpia I have had in a looong time and the chicken adobo and pancit were delicious as well. Service was great and the gentleman was very kind.

#4 with lumpia, bbq pork and pancit

We've been passing by this place for quite some time and seeing the signs and decided to try it! We ordered the #4 with lumpia, bbq pork and pancit and it was good! We aren't too familiar with Filipino food but we would definitely recommend this place for a visit. The man who helped us was also really nice and thanked us for stopping by, they are a food truck and have some shade for customers while you order as well as a pager system once you order to let you know when it's done. Plenty of parking!

My wife and son both had the…read morechicken strips, and they thought they were tasty and obviously not re-formed pieces but actual pieces of meat--something we seldom see these days. The atmosphere is homey. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. Someone had spilled some sugar on the table, and we sat down before they could get someone to clean it up. It was obvious the worker were challenged, as we saw them constantly on the move between cooking, the cashier station and the drive up window. I found the music just a little too loud, but I think I may be fixated on this aspect of dining out. All in all, just what to expect from a small restaurant near a military installation: good food at a decent price without pretensions. Definitely will return.

First off $27.79 for 4 pc tenders and 3 pc seemed a little steep, and they didn't have biscuits. We weren't offered an extra side or discount considering the meal was missing the biscuit. The chicken my husband had was ok , we were expecting a lot more flavor based on the color it came out, but the breast was juicy . My tenders were sad, no real flavor. The batter tasted like flour and that's it. I don't understand if the owners have their flavorful tenders at smoke shack why aren't they to the same standard here . The sauce options are ok , loved the hot honey. The max n cheese reminded us of frozen meal standards. As my husband said "There's good restaurants, there's fast food & then there's Honeys..." Overall I would not recommend it .

He was very nice and told the cook to make it fresh so he did. I was waiting for 8 minutes and I said I wanted a small cup of ice and he said "are you sure I can give you a drink since your order is taking long." I said "ok that's great thank you" he gave me a sweet tea so I took it to the car and I came back and he said "you're order is almost ready would you like another tea." I said "ok thank you" so he gave me another one. 5 more minutes later he said "did you get your order?" I said "not yet I don't mind I see your busy." Which I saw how the drive thru was packed and raining. So he was super very nice too give me this much of livers and gizzards tenders, fresh rolls, gravy, serendipity packets, and a gallon of there sweet tea plus the best part it was super hot and he said he was sorry I hope you come back and I said "thank you so much and I really appreciate this you made my day, but what's your name?" He said "my name is Josh." I will come back to this establishment and everyone was super friendly and working very hard especially when it was raining Thank you!

She was just not friendly. Complete opposite from her entire staff. Sad. If this is how you lead by example, you are failing. Thankfully, your staff is superior. It's Bush's Chicken. They don't do food wrong. I've never received a wrong order. Not once. Their chicken is always freshly fried, & they always have fresh warm rolls. They do have good tea, but I cannot drink the sweet. Its is too sweet. But, they brew their tea properly. I always get me a cup of unsweetened tea. Never disappointed. I do not like white meat. Thankfully, I can always order a three piece thighs without any issue. I did just discover they have baked chicken. Although I do not know anyone that has ever got an order. So, if you have, let me know what you think. I'll try it mext some. Opened my to go box & was surprised how old the chicken looks. It is not hot, actually, kinda cool. I came straight home after ordering. This is disappointing. I actually liked this location. But, after going here about once every 30-45 days, not a bad percentage. Which is why I stuck to the four stars.
