We have been taking our Toyotas to Import Service Center for many years and have always been served well. I also like that they provide detailed receipts. Two years ago I bought a new Toyota and took advantage of the 2 years of free service at the dealership. Last week I returned to Import Service Center for the 20K service. The comparison of the receipts is amazing. The dealership's receipt just says they did "Toyota Care Complimentary Maintenance" - rotated tires, set tire psi, inspect/adjust fluids, multi-point brake inspection. Import Service Center's receipt lists the parts used and described the work: brakes front 95% left, rear 85%, tires 34, battery 285/298 CCA at 12.18 volts, A/C vent temp 40 degs at 1 p.m., no issues to report. Thus is the spot to come if you have a import car. Our Prius rides low, and the plastic protectors get scraped when at parking spaces or speed bumps. Ours has 4 pieces that snap together. I was passing through Tucson Arizona and my Hyundai had developed an Check Engine Light issue. We went to Hyundai dealership only to be turned away due to their busyness. I found this place and we invited to come in for a diagnose if nothing else. I went in and was greeted by the owner Rick. He immediately put my car under diagnoses. He came back in 10 minutes not only to tell me what the code was but had pinpointed the failed component. He ordered the part and repaired it and sent me on my way. I was able yo make it all the way to California without further car problem. Great owner, great service and great responsiveness in caring for their customers. Highly recommended. I would give this place a 6 stars if I can. You have saved my cross-country road trip. read more

So...I'm a rainbird with a great mechanic in Washington but I have never needed one down here.....I've driven my Honda down the last five winters with no issues...sadly this was the year...my computer system started acting all crazy after a road trip to Las Vegas..I got back and took it to a mechanic shop well known on speedway...something just didn't settle right when without telling me they did a major inspection on my car and came back with almost three grand in auto issues..and none of them were what I went in for..they told me I needed new rotors..but what they didn't get was that I knew I had just had rotors put on 10 months ago...so long story short I didnt trust them and my mechanic back home said "run"...fast forward...and my car breaks down completely a day before an LA road trip...I found this shop thru reviews and immediately when I called and spoke with Megan...I just knew they would be great.....let's be honest....especially as a woman...we feel like we can get screwed pretty easily when it comes to getting our cars fixed....just think back to the beginning...well anyway...I stopped in..met megan and "chief" and had my car towed when i got back....they took care of everything and...not for one second did i think I got screwed...the cost was less than I thought..and I'm so happy to know that I found a great shop for my car when I'm here for winter and spring!!!!! I've been going here for years after not one but three friends recommended it. Rick has taken care of a Volvo, a VW and Honda's for me. His shop is honest, quick and the pricing is fair. I made the mistake of taking my car elsewhere for an emergency repair and not only did I pay $200 more at the other place, but the other place didn't fix the problem, just the symptom of the problem. This is a five-star review except I live too far away to conveniently take my car here on a regular basis. I have a 2007 RX 350 with over 192k miles and recently the A/C system died. The car is in great shape otherwise so I decided to get the system repaired. I found Import Service Center after searching for Lexus repair experts in Tucson and reading the reviews for ISC. No other garage compared with the comments I read. My experience with the A/C repair was that it was well-done and reasonably priced. Rick knew I was looking for them to get the A/C working without a complete overhaul. So they tried to replace the totally trashed parts and to clean and rehab the others. Unfortunately for me the compressor and condenser were both shot and had to be replaced. The A/C now works better than ever and when I picked-up the car, the cost was about 2/3 of the dealer price and 10-15% less than the estimate I had received from another garage. Rick is very customer service focused and his office person, Heather, is patient, knowledgeable and helpful. If they were just closer to where I live, I would continue to use them. read more

I am so grateful to the staff and technicians at Import Service Center. Electrical problems were causing my dashboard lights to come on, my power steering to go out, and my engine actually shut down in the middle of traffic one time...very scary. I took my car to the dealership which shall remain nameless and also to a repair shop. Neither could figure out the problem. The wonderful folks at Import kept my car and drove it until they could get it to do what I said it was doing. They took me seriously. The battery which had been installed by a roadside service company, was the problem. I won't go in to the details. What I will say is that Import's diagnosis was spot on. My car is totally fixed. My gratitude is enormous because I truly believe that I could have had a terrible accident had the problem not been identified. Outstanding service and customer service at this shop. My wife and I moved here from CA and immediately realized that the big dealers were very pricey for their work. We found Import Service Center and met with Heather. A very knowledgable young lady that knew how to treat people and extremely great knowledge of vehicles, parts and what it took to keep them serviced to provide longevity. Not only did she tell you what your vehicle needed, but she also showed you and explained all the details. Then we got to meet Rick, the owner and found him to be a straight-up guy who welcomed you and loved making sure that his customers were satisfied with their service. Rick, the owner, and all his staff are OUTSTANDING with customer service. I've been to dealerships who should use Import Car Repair as their model for customer service. Having been to dealerships in the Tucson area and been totally taken advantage of, I heard about this independent import car repair shop. Naturally, I read all the reviews and knew this is the place for me. Not automated, you have a real live person plus the owner answer the phone! What a concept...I felt at ease at that moment. They really listened to my problems and were very compasionate. Rick, owner, was "johnny on the spot". He knew exactly what was needed for my truck repair and took the time on the spot to give me a very decent quote. It's all about being honest, which is hard to find in this industry, plus he explained everything that was needed. He will even give me the old parts from my truck that were replaced, not just grab some off another repair that are not mine - how about that!
