I've had In and Out before in California, and even then I didn't understand the big deal with this place. The Apple Pan in The LA area blows this place totally out of the water. But for a good tasting well made burger In and Out is top notch. Certainly better than McDs and BK. Anyway, I was able to avoid the long lines. Went on a Monday right at opening time because I was coming out of Target. The burgers are fine, the fries are shit(they got hard and cold really fast), the onions is....meh. Don't expect me to give a shit about "secret" this and "style" that.....its a gimmick and quite off-putting when conversing about this place. I think of the secrets and "styles" as the equivalent of the play places at McDs (great distraction for the kids but just nasty once you crawl around in them). It was Ok considering its convenience and timing and I would go back if I didn't have to wait in line. Nancy Jo's is way better alternative but Im a cynical bastard, so you do you. Every time we go to Oregon, we stop at In n Out in Keizer Station. It is always busy but the staff is always polite. The last three times I have had an issue. The first two times I asked for grilled onions, no onions. The third time it was so wet that it fell apart. Maybe you could go back to the box for take away orders. Please? read more

These are pandemic times and I'm used to understaffed businesses. But this place bustled with SO many clean-cut, helpful workers! The drive through line was super long so we opted to go in. Everyone was masked. While it was very busy, we waited less than 10 minutes. Inside- clean. They roped off the drink dispenser and fill cups for you. No seating inside (June 2020). Outside seating- under a big pavillion. Every other table is rope off for spacing. We stood there for a few mintues and then gave up our table because the freeway was really loud and the foul smell of the farms across the way was too strong. So we went around the corner and ate by our cars which was better. DELICIOUS AS USUAL! I love the grill onions on animal style! We will be back!! read more

This was my second trip in 2 months to In-N-Out at Keizer Station. Takes about an hour to get there from my house. I did not get to eat either time because of the massive crowds. Their traffic management and food production is seriously lacking. Tonight I sat for more than an hour in the drive through line only to get half way to the goal. After inquiring about the wait from that point, another hour, I could no longer wait to consume food and left. Do not waste your time. McDonald's has better fries anyway. read more

This is not a destination restaurant. If I were on a road trip and needed food and my only choices were Burger King, McDonalds, or In-N-Out, I would choose In-N-Out only because the other two are so bad. BUT--if the line was like the one I encountered when I visited this location, I would grab a couple of McDonals cheeseburgers and not be disappointed in the slightest. Yes, it's cheap. My boss and I ordered two double-double animal style, two cheese burgers, two fries, and two drinks, and the total was $20 even. Nice. But the food... errr The fries are the WORST fast food fry I have ever had. They are dry and hard, almost like they were dehydrated. How in the heck does Five Guys make fresh cut fries fresh that come out amazing, and this place serves sawdust sticks? Doesn't make sense. People say, "Oh, you HAVE to order them animal style." No, I don't. I shouldn't have to smother fries in thousand island and liquid cheese to make them edible. That's like telling me I should put ketchup on a bad steak. Fries should be able to stand alone. The burgers are passable, but barely. The meat isn't cooked through and there is no char or meat flavor to speak of. The simple cheeseburger is drier than the Sahara. There is no juice whatsoever from the meat, and the buns are dry dry dry. I actually threw away a cheeseburger after only a few bites and that astounds burger-loving-me. You can make the burger edible by--get this--making it "animal style", which is similar to the fry theory. They slather on a generous amount of thousand island and that at least adds moisture. The lemonade and customer service are very good. I know that there is a die-hard following for this place, but take that fact with a grain of salt. There are also die-hard followers of stupid sh*t like "Survivor", "The Bachelor" and our president. It doesn't mean anything except that a whole lot of Americans have really, really bad taste. read more

As with typical In N Out locations, this one did not disappoint. I heard rumors that the lines had died down significantly as of 12/28/19, but when I went today it was still an hour and a half from start to finish to get food. I will give credit where credit is due, the organization of the line was excellent and there were no altercations or even rudeness during the wait. The food is good as usual; I always get a Double Double and an order of animal fries, and sprung for an X-Large pink lemonade for the ride home to Portland. The location was super clean, the service is excellent, and the food is good quality and tasted just like the locations in California. I'm looking forward to going back, but maybe in a few months when the line inevitably dies down. read more

It's In N Out. If you've been, you know what's up. If you haven't, it's 110% the best bang-for-buck burger you can buy. A double-double (or maybe a 3x3 if I'm real hungry) always hits the spot. Yes, the fries are garbage, and I'm ok with that. The location was clean and service was pretty quick despite the crowd. I think In-N-Out is a definitely a go to. That being said, we stopped here on the way back from Oregon to Washington. It's a really packed and busy location (probably because there are only a few restaurants in the Pacific Northwest) so the drive-thru is really crazy (the lines go out into the streets and for many blocks). I decided to stand in line in person and I feel that is the smarter choice as the drive thru lines start with two then merges in one. Be careful and follow the COVID protocols as they take it very seriously. Otherwise, it was nice to stop by and get some food on the way back home. Animal style all the way! read more

We waited in line for about an hour and a half, which I had no problem with, considering we were about to taste the best burgers known to man (so the California's say). After the long wait, we were greeted with cheery faces and good customer service. I just knew after the long anticipation and hungry belly that this was going to be an experience to remember. The thin patty was unnoticeable within the smear of thousand island dressing. My fries were cold, stale and tasted like they were made from cardboard. My 6 and 8 year old kids couldn't even find their meals palatable enough to consume. This is the first bad review I have ever written, but truly don't want people to waste their time or money. So the other day I was like, I really wanna go to in n out, I was craving some animal style fries. So a friend and I drove down there from Portland, all excited, to only be greeted by a grumpy worker stating the wait was too long and that they were not making any more food. I looked at her and looked in side and saw that there was no line, the dining room was full, but the drive through was super long, I got mad, made an immature comment and pulled a Karen, yes I asked for the manager. Only it wasn't what I expected. This petite exhausted girl came out and I was like look, I dunno what's going on but we just drove from Portland and I want a burger and fries. She then disappeared back behind the counter, came back a few moments later and Handled my entitled grumpy fat butt with charm and poise stating, I will make it happen. 15 minutes later I was stuffing my face with delicious food and a milk shake. While my friend I were sitting there, we noticed that they were hand counting every item. It seems they may have misjudged the PNWs obsession with the food. Everyone always has something bad to say about In-N-Out. "I don't want to wait" or "it's so over rated". Patience is a virtue, and when you practice that virtue, you get the best burgers and milkshakes in town. When I go, I wait maybe 10 minutes at the max, and I go A LOT. When someone says it's not worth the wait, just let them have their opinion and they can go enjoy Nancy's. For anyone that has had bad service, I have been to into the restaurant more than a dozen times and I have NEVER once had anyone in the restaurant give me anything but fantastic service. Food is the best in town, atmosphere brings a California feel to Keizer, and the service always leaves me with a smile. read more

I haven't eaten "regular" fast food (McD's, BK, Wendy's, Taco Bell, etc.) in almost 2 decades for health reasons. I made an exception for In N Out given all the hoopla surrounding its opening. Plus, I recalled that in Eric Schlosser's "Fast Food Nation," he portrayed it as the only fast food company that treated its employees well and served fresh food (like fries cut on the premises). It appears that In N Out has kept its good reputation for freshness and treating employees well in the years since Schlosser's book was published. The facility is brand new and appears quite clean on the inside. Lots of white. There are more employees than I ever remember at a fast-food store running around, particularly behind the counter. This place has been absolutely besieged with customers since opening, so they appear to have staffed up appropriately. I did not have to wait in line at all to order. I then waited about 20-25 minutes for my order to be ready. I had a shake, fries, and cheeseburger. Everything was great. The shake tasted as if it really was from real ice cream (as advertised). The burger was fresh -- particularly, the lettuce. The fries were actually a little disappointing, despite being hand-grated on site from fresh potatoes. They tasted paper-y. Probably the best part of the experience was the cleanliness of the facility. There appeared to be an attendant or two walking around keeping an eye on tables to wipe them down. The bathroom was clean too. One thing they could improve would be to have a number board showing which number was up, instead of only announcing it over the speaker system. It was sometimes difficult to hear, and what about hearing-impaired customers? I have larger questions about whether anyone should be eating fast food on sustainability grounds: e.g., why so much beef? why serve the same exact thing year-round at the same price irrespective of seasons (e.g., a tomato in February)? I also wish they would swap out their throwaway cups for re-usable for those eating on site. But in the grand scheme of early 21st century American capitalism, it seems that In N Out is better than most if not all of its peers in the FF industry. read more

This location opened three months ago and it's still so busy! I came at 3 pm on a Sunday and still had to wait in the drive through for an hour to get my food (although that's better than the 2.5 hour wait I heard they used to have). It'll probably be better on weekdays, but if like me, you thought the hype would've died down by now, don't count on it! Long wait aside, the staff was very friendly and good about making sure our order was correct. The food itself was good, like what I'd expect from In-N-Out. I got a double-double and it was very cheesy and the ingredients tasted fresh. I'd definitely recommend coming here at least once, but maybe wait for a weekday or in a few months when the hype dies down a little more. read more

Love In-N-Out, haven't been to one since I was in cali last, and was craving it. I came at around 4pm on a Wednesday, so while I'd heard non stop about the lines, there were only maybe 4 cars in front of me and I was in and out fairly quickly. Double Double animal style is my jam, and it's always just how I remember it. In-n-out is another place where for me, the fries are mediocre so I just skip them. If you get them animal style, they're pretty good, but definitely more of an eating in thing for me. Oh, and of course, gotta mess with the chocolate shake!! read more

Disgustemento! I don't get what all the hype is about???? do people go there because of the name I don't get it? NOT GOOD AT ALL! we saw many reviews and thought wow we need to go try this since people are hyping it so much...... until...... our burgers came soggy, everything inside was soggy and the burgers were cold as if they were standing there all day, the meat was already a little dried out... the fries taste like a freezer burn more like foam not crunchy or fresh but foamy.. the employees however were very kind. 0 stars for the food, we had stomach aches after... you'd expect the food to be SUPER but no. Love In N Out, hands down best burger and best food consistency. The one in Keizer though, every employee is incompetent. Haven't met one employee that can do their job other then the cooks, from ordering to playing the musical cars game in the parking lot for the drive through. I went inside to order this time, and the cashier was decent; except for when trying to process my payment. She had to go to a manager to get help. Thus I had to wait more than 5 minutes just to pay. And then I had to wait even longer to get my food. The fries were ok and more than the last couple times that I had received. The burger was still not in a presentable way though.
