As I mentioned in my last restaurant review, In-N-Out never disappoints. It is legitimately consistent across the board no matter which location, city or state you eat it. The employees are always friendly and helpful. It hits the spot every time. I've never had a bad meal there. The restaurants are clean and vibrant. It's amazing how such a simple menu and concept has grown so big. Everything is always fresh and I don't feel icky after eating there. In-N-Out will always be a top fast food choice for me.

Cheeseburger protein style with extra veggies and light well fries.
    Val S.

Lunch at In-N-Out totally hit the spot today. I went with a cheeseburger protein style (lettuce wrap, no bun) loaded up with extra veggies, chilies, and pickles - plus light-well fries on the side. Everything came out hot, fresh, and cooked exactly how I ordered it. That consistency is why In-N-Out stays undefeated. Yes, the drive-thru line here gets way busy, but honestly it moved pretty efficiently, about 15 minutes from getting in line to pulling away with food in hand, which is totally reasonable for peak lunch time. Shout-out to the staff at this location too - friendly, upbeat, and on top of things even with the rush. That kind of service always makes the wait feel shorter. Simple menu, done right, every time. I'll definitely be back (probably sooner than I should ).

Cheeseburger - Animal Style - no pickles - extra raw onions & tomatoes - perfect!

Walked in and the place was busy but not packed - however it was very clean. The rep at the order counter was nice, polite and professional. I always do a special order. Animal style is my fav option - with eXtra grilled onions & regular/ raw onion slice(s) PLUS - loose the pickles ( vinegar kinda over runs the other flavors - so while a dill pickle is tasty - for me best enjoyed on it's own - not in a burger, hot dog, sandwich ). I ordered my fries medium well to check against my normal choice of lite well for the fries. So I ordered a #1 (Double-Double, fried and drink) . The order showed up in a bit less than five minutes, grabbed some ketchup, a quick picture of my fries, Double-Double and out to my car. So I got it to go so my pups in my car could enjoy dinner with me ( I usually give them some of my food ) . They of course love In-N-Out's burgers & fries ( tho gotta make sure they get no onion as onion is bad for dogs) The Double-Double was cooked perfectly and was so tasty. It disappeared down my throat so fast I pour pups only got a few bites of the burger but they did get quite a few french fries which they enjoyed. No soda for them only for me. I usually get a mixture of Coca-Cola with Diet Coke cause gotta cut calorie somewhere a little bit, but I love the taste of good old-fashioned regular Coca-Cola, especially from a fountain. What can I say? The dinner was perfect and my dog agreed with me too on that matter of fact, they want me to order them a burger, but I have quite a bit of food for them at home cause I cooked a whole chicken for them. Awesome meal.

Wow. SQZ Burger has been open for nearly three years in Lodi and I never noticed it. I know I've…read moredriven past it many times, but I guess their signage is too modest compared to the huge "IDOL BEER WORKS" on the other end of the building. I figured it was just another iteration of the original (now long gone) Squeeze Inn in Sacramento, and I was right. I don't think the various locations are franchises, but are more likely independently owned, and the quality varies from location to location. The one that used to be in West Sac, for instance, was terrible, which might explain why it's been gone for years. And the mid-town was also a resounding MEH, and also gone. There's nothing at any version of Squeeze Inn/Burger that I want more than just a basic Squeeze (or in this case, SQZ) with Cheese, though. I don't want a taco, nor a BLT, and especially not chicken strips. I want that which made the brand famous. A cheeseburger with all the traditional toppings and a cheese skirt just dripping cheese grease off it. SQZ Burger delivers the goods. The cheese skirt was just the right size, not too big, not too small. At one point in my life I would have said that there's no such thing as a cheese skirt that's too big, but a couple of years ago I had a cheese skirt that was so big that I felt sick afterward from all the cheese grease! In addition to the just right amount of cheese, the burger had lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, and a healthy schmear of mayo and mustard. Damn near a perfect burger. The owner was running the register on my visit, and when she brought my food out, she asked if I wanted a side of ranch. I'm the kind of guy who would drink ranch dressing if I could, so of course I accepted. I didn't even ask - It was nice of her to offer! There's a throughline from the original Squeeze Inn on Power Inn Road to SQZ Burger, too. The father of the husband half of the H/W ownership team owned the original location. Brandon and Katie ran the Galt location for several years, and have now brought the goodness to a Lodi brick and mortar spot. I'll definitely be back.

I had the western bacon cheeseburger with fries and a strawberry shake. These burger was full of flavor and BIG! Not sure exactly how they make their fries, but they're amazing. And my strawberry shake was good also. We had about 45 people all land at the same time, and SQZ was able to quickly get us all served in short order. I do love the vibe of both SQZ & IDOL. It was a nice little drive both ways with an epic food stop in between.

We've been wanting to try this spot for a while, and since their other location is closed in Sacramento on Tuesdays, we finally made the trip to Lodi and wow, it was absolutely worth it the wait and Abdul that helped us was cool. He had a good sense of humor. We were coming back from Monterey and all of us were hungry. We ordered quite a feast: (3) chicken tikka wraps without lettuce 8 piece chicken tikka 8 piece chicken malai 6 regular naans + 1 garlic naan Tandoori fish order Tandoori chicken pizza Chicken tikka masala rice plate Every single item was flavorful, mouth watering, and cooked perfectly. The chicken tikka and malai were tender and packed with flavor. The naans were soft and fresh, and the chicken tikka masala rice plate had that rich, comforting sauce that was creamy smooth you can't stop eating and dipping your naan into. The tandoori fish was a standout smoky, well seasoned, and tender. They give a lot of meat inside the wraps. The tandoori chicken pizza... let's just say we couldn't even wait to get home. We ate a slice in the car because the smell alone was too tempting. That's how good it was. We took everything to go, the quality was top tier! You can tell they care about their food and flavors and wanting their customers happy. Abdul kept letting us know the status of our order and took care of us with chutney and ranch. If you've been thinking about trying Smokey Grill, don't wait.... this place delivers on every level! Ask for Abdul, he is down to earth nice guy. 5 stars!! Thanks Abdul!! Photos are attached

Ironically, we had just been talking about how great it would be if they offered a brunch menu, so it felt like perfect timing! We decided to give it a try and were seated right away. We couldn't decide what to order, so we ended up getting three dishes for the two of us--the fajita omelet, the Denver omelet, and the biscuits and gravy. We also ordered a spicy Bloody Mary, which was delicious. The standout? The biscuits and gravy. The first bite had my husband blurting out, "Oh f***... this is good!" The sandwich came with a grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, pepper jack cheese, crispy fried onions, and jalapeño dressing on grilled ciabatta bread. I also upgraded my fries to their Bleu fries (topped with bleu cheese crumbles and bleu cheese dressing). The fries were definitely a highlight--served hot, crispy, and perfectly paired with the bleu cheese. My husband was really impressed with the fish and chips, which he hadn't tried here before. The fish was beer-battered and fried, served with fries and coleslaw. He especially liked the coleslaw, noting that it tasted fresh with great flavor and wasn't overly coated in mayo. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and the experience. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

The restaurant is a bit upscale and pricey-although many restaurant prices have increased-so it is reasonable just a matter of what you order and are expecting. We did a couple appetizers for double servings. There also was a cast iron bread which I highly recommend-we didn't find it on the menu but another adjacent table had ordered it -we asked, ordered and we demolished it. I even forgot to take photos of the bread. For the main dishes the fish and chips was worth it, I didn't get any positive feedback on the ravioli that many of the people in the group had ordered. The one who had the Beef Wellington said it was worth it. There were two in the group that ordered the beef stroganoff that weren't able to fjnish their dish. I was recommended to try the pork schnitzel by my friend and it did not disappoint. I got my sandwich with a side salad. We also ordered the deviled eggs to share. My friend has never had the deviled eggs before and pleasantly surprised and delighted that the eggs were absolutely delicious. They're very smooth, eggs were cooked perfectly and the touch of bacon was just right. It does come with a small helping of mixed greens topped with pickled onions. The pork schnitzel was crispy & crunchy due to the breaded pork loin, came with pickled onions, slaw and the chipotle aioli sauce. The sauce does have a bit of a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy, well, at least for me. My salad was very good too. It was colorful and had an interestingly tangy dressing on it. It paired well with the sandwich. One was spicy and the salad was tangy but refreshing. My friend also ordered the pork schnitzel with beef tallow fries. I tried some of her fries and they were thin but still crispy. Overall the food at West Oak Nosh was so good and delicious!
