It's simple, yet near flawlessly executed. Most importantly, you know exactly what kind of experience you're in for, regardless of which location you end up at. The Lodi locations offers the standard In N Out experience. Friendly customer service, a clean interior, and quality food that's served relatively quickly, but is also worth the wait if they're on the busier side. While there isn't anything that particularly differentiates this location from others, I think that speaks positively for In N Out's corporate commitment to customer service and consistency. The employees take pride in their work and are fairly compensated at each location, and that's demonstrated regardless of which In N Out you visit. More businesses should follow and adopt this model! On to the food: always tasty, always worth the price. I'd love to say that I went for a Double Double this visit, but I typically go for the lower carb option, when available. Luckily, In N Out offers their burgers protein style (lettuce wrapped) upon request, so you can enjoy a patty (or two) with a little less guilt. I don't think that I have ever seen an In & Out drive through empty. Expect to wait anytime you go to, but rest assured you know you will get one of the best burgers you have ever tasted. Double Double Burger is my favorite. It is everything that I think a fast food burger should be. The meat is flavorful but not too salty. Cheese is nicely a melted. Onion is crisp and flavorful. Bun is soft and does a reasonably good job of holding a messy burger together. Fries, while not the best, pass the good test, delicious when cold. Milkshakes are among the fast food best. What was going to be a savory and delectable double order of fries, turned into a long, long suffering torture session.... The only thing from In-N-Out that turned out OK was the Strawberry Shake. Yeah, great.. Sigh.... I got suckered into buying In-N-Out a SECOND time a few months later for my friend and myself. The first time I told myself, for sure, HAD to be an anomaly... We stopped here on our way home today because we were running late and didn't have time to prepare dinner. It's a great semi-healthy option for us to have; we get our burgers protein style and love the fresh potatoes. In my experience, staff at In-N-Out are always efficient and courteous and this location is no exception. The interior is clean and the cost is reasonable. The one thing that is a bit vexing here however is the fact that they do not live up to their name. In-n-out always puts out a consistantly good burger. Service is usually above average as well. My standard order is "hamburger-animal style-mustard instead of spread-extra toast" and you know they always get it right. I cant order two crunchy tacos fresco style at taco bell and get it right consistantly. They always do a good job on the x-well fries. My only complaint is in the summer when you order a shake at the drive through the draw the shake and let it sit for several minutes while you are in line. This results in a melted shake (which i do not like.) My daughter solved this problem by waiting to order the shake until you are at the pickup window. My sister and I went in for a bite to eat after doing some shopping. It wasn't a busy day so the food came out after about 5 mins and was satisfying. The restroom looked like it had not been checked for a while -the trash was full and the stalls were not cleaned. I am totally aware that it was probably a customer that made the messes but it is an establishment. I noticed that none of the tables were wiped down by workers during the 30 mins we were there. Other customers took notice too as there were people behind the counters talking. I've been to other locations where someone wipes tables down promptly after another table clears. This is a quick fix though, there's definitely room to grow! read more

Me and my boyfriend were greeted in the window by a young man who was very polite and orderly. He gave us our food and everything was perfect in the bag. My boyfriend (who was driving) had asked if it was possible to get a couple chilis and the kind worker went out of his way to get them from the dining area in the restaurant and gave them to us in a small paper cup. we both found that so kind! We drove around a bit and noticed there was an In-N-Out here and decided to go in. The place was packed and busy, but we got our orders in and found seats all within about 5 minutes. We waited about 19 minutes for food and it was great. I got a cheeseburger animal style and fries. The staff is friendly and like I said either you like this spot or not. First, they ought to have a small snack like apple pie because sometimes you don't want to go all animal style. Second, you have to drive like three blocks inside the strip mall and navigate a bunch of stop signs and no left turn signs and stuff just to go the fifty feet from the intersection to the front door. Of course you can get a soggy burger once in awhile the combination of juicy meat and condiments will do that especially if you have a long drive home it's always best eaten there!
