Hey, how can you hate on an In-N-Out Burger? That would be blasphemy. I do love 'em; I generally only go when I get a gift card, though. I don't like the crowds, the noise, the lines, etc. Still, it's a freakin' great burger. This time I tried something new. I ordered my usual double double animal style, but this time with a whole grilled onion (actually, it's a whole slice, not chopped up). It was so good! Doing it from now on. Another new thing is I ordered the fries well done. It takes longer, but they also stay good much longer than the regular fries. I would especially recommend it if you're taking it home to eat; they'll probably still be pretty good by the time you get home. Job well done on the well-done fries! The staff is terrific, a bunch of fresh-faced kids who provide great customer service. It's crowded all the time, even during off-peak hours. Great burger, though. When I arrived to the food arrival area to get my meal, it was in a bag. I checked my receipt in my wallet (was busy washing hands, etc. before), it showed on receipt: "Take Out". The other employee that called my # grabbed my meal items in the bag and put it on the tray. If you don't know how to use the cashier properly, follow instructions, etc., please work somewhere else and seek a different job that's a better fit for you. In-N-Out was one of the places I was most excited to try since we don't have it in my state but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. My burger was incredibly dry and the bun was so overtoasted that parts of it were hard and black black. The fries were bland and didn't seem to have any salt on them. Overall, I just didn't enjoy the food at all. To make matters worse, finding parking was a challenge because the drive thru line was completely wrapped around the building. I've been a fan and a returning customer since the 90s. I never thought i could say anything bad about In N Out but this location is way below par. Besides the wait and awful location situation, the staff - either the order taker or the cook - are not paying attention or just didn't care about the quality or customer service anymore. My usual order was all wrong and cold. Never happened before. I asked a no salt and not well done or hard fries. What I got was a very hard batch like it's old and cold and salty. Protein Hamburger was messy and didn't get grilled onions which I asked for. At the window or the order taker normally would ask will you eat in the car or just to go. I had to ask for everything - from the drink carrier since I had two drinks to the gray box to eat in the car. Most disappointing is the food was cold. Like I said most of the time this well known burger hits the spot. But this location sucks. I've been going to this In N Out since I was a kid (even when I attended UCLA). If you would have asked me back then In N Out especially this one was a 5/5 sometimes 4/5 on a bad day. But recently it's been 2-3 out of 5. The service is good most of the time however the quality of food has declined. Not only does it seem like they have made their burger portions smaller but fries as well. Soda doesn't taste as good anymore. Plus I asked for animal style fries and this is what I got barely any spread and half of it is stuck to the box. As someone who loves In N Out hopefully this isn't a constant. read more

There was a massive line of cars at 10:30pm on a random Wednesday night which I thought was really funny. Can't comment on the ambiance inside the restaurant because I've never dined in, but I heard UCLA kids are always up to something there. I never get the animal style fries at in n out bc they're always soggy (their fries are soggy in general), but the animal style cheeseburger is the way to go!! Also this was my first time trying their milkshake, which (even though I know it's not made of actual milk/ice cream) was so bomb. The fries dipped in the milkshake is an elite combo. I had one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had at In-N-Out Burger. I VERY clearly stated that I have an onion allergy, and despite that, they still put onions on my burger. This was not a small mistake or a 'preference issue' -- this was a potentially life-threatening health risk caused by complete negligence and carelessness from the staff. If I had not checked the burger myself before taking a bite, I could have had a severe allergic reaction. The entire experience was chaotic from start to finish. They acted confused about my order, tried handing me the wrong food at the window, and only corrected it after I pointed it out myself. At no point did it feel like anyone was paying attention or taking the situation seriously. When someone mentions an allergy, especially a food allergy, there is absolutely no excuse for ignoring it. This restaurant needs serious retraining on allergy procedures and basic order accuracy before somebody ends up in the hospital. I am strongly considering taking legal action because this level of negligence is completely unacceptable. People should not have to fear for their safety ordering food here. read more

Oh man, I love in-n-out I am going through a Smashburger appreciation phase in my life, but this is a tried, and true institution. I've been to this location handful of times, and it never disappoints. I love that it's kind of hidden, I've only ever been in short-ish lines for the drive thru. The workers have mastered what they have to do so it's fairly quick. This is nothing like the nightmarish Hollywood location. (And I'm simply referring to the long lines not the food or service.) I only wish they would bring the whole Chilis back, chopped ones are saltier and not as spicy. The last time we were here, we had to order a dozen burgers, and they didn't even flinch and everything came out perfectly. The food is always consistent. The only gamble is the fries.
