I arrived 10 minutes early and I was pleasantly surprised that not only was my order ready but everything with the order was correct. On top of that the sandwiches were delicious. I went to this Jersey Mike's on Tuesday June 23 at about 4:30PM. I get in there, waiting for awhile, then the mop boy comes out. Without washing his hands he put on a pair of gloves. I asked him if he was going to wash his hands. He turned around and walked to the sink and I headed for the door and left. What kind of manager allows their employees to do this directly in front of the customer? I understand mop boy is easy to get rid of but the manager is responsible for mop boy's unsanitary behavior. I may not be an expert on food but last time I checked Vitamin C is good for you but Hepatitis C may not be as good for you. Consistently good - I get mine with mayo, pickles, and "the spices and the juice". Get that flavor!! This location has ample indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is ... Westwood, but you can park in the TJ's lot next door if you want to run some errands at the same time. People are always friendly. So just ordered a turkey sandwich from this location. The bread was stale. I also asked for banana peppers. I found 1 on my sandwich that I thew in the garbage. Why did I throw this sandwich in the trash you ask? After 3 bites, I pulled out a long effing hair that made me want to gag! Tried calling the store and guess what? I went there for a late lunch. The place was pretty busy and there were only 2 employees making sandwiches, while the others were doing something else. I worked at a sandwich shop over 20 years ago, and back then it was all hands on deck when it was busy. They also need to have a separate prep area for their on-line orders, so that customers don't have to wait in line for their food. My second point is that not everyone likes Mike's way. You are there to enjoy the sandwich, but if you smother it with lettuce, oil and vinegar, that's primarily what you are going to taste, and nobody wants to pay 12 bucks for just that. Next, I want to point out the use of paper bags. I understand that if the sandwich is ordered to go, then yes, but if you are eating it there, then why do you need a bag. It's just going to be thrown away, when it could be saved. The sandwich is already wrapped in 1 bag, why do you need 2, if you are consuming right away. It was my 8 year old niece who, on a trip to Trader Joe's begged me to take her so off we went. I had never been. I thought it was a Blimpe/Subway type clone. Was I ever wrong! First of all the two girls working were amazing and so friendly. I watched them create our sandwiches expertly. We had our order in no time and sat at a table. When I went back to ask if she could cut my sandwich in half she gave me a cookie to give to my niece. Such a sweet gesture which thriller her. Our sandwiches were hot and delicious. Such good sandwiches! I had a huge craving for sandwiches in which I was recommended to try Jersey Mike's. I had heard plenty about it before but never had the chance to actually go. I explained to the staff that it was my first time there so they kindly gave me recommendations on bread and sandwich choices they recommend. I ended up ordering the original Italian with rosemary bread. Service was quick and even though the store is in the middle of a busy area (down the block from UCLA), I had no issue being helped. The sandwich was fresh and so satisfying! With the multiple different meats on the sandwich, I didn't feel as if I was missing out on flavor and it was such a good size. Today I decided to pay homage to Jersey Mike's subs because they were the first sub chain restaurant that had gluten-free submarine sandwich bread. Now I am not a submarine sandwich kinda guy. Po Boy- yes; muffuletta- yes; panini- yes; Cuban pressed- yes; torta- yes; sub sandwich- not so much. However, Jersey Mike's has mini, regular and Giant GF Udi loaves to create your dream sandwich. Thank goodness this isn't Starbucks or they would offer Gigantic, Humungous & Galactic size bread. I decided to try the Giant GF Club Supreme which has roast beef, antibiotic free turkey, Swiss, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, avocado, mustard, oil & vinegar and I got a bag of chips and a GF cookie. This huge sub was cut into 4 parts which although the added avocado and GF bread pushed this baby to almost $23 clams, I got 4 meals out of it. I nixed the Mayo because that is a culinary crime in my book, almost akin to putting ketchup on a hot dog. No judgment for those of you that put Mayo on anything with meat but it is against the Book of Food. Just saying but that's just me. This sub in four part harmony was singing a very happy song with each bite. It's been a long time since I've been able to enjoy a sub owing to my being Celiac, so thank you to Jersey Mike's for the GF loaves and for Bruce Springsteen as well. I've already used Jersey Mikes twice for catering with my business. Food is great and everyone is happy with the variety. Unfortunately, I did have a small issue when they didn't read that I wanted my condiments on the side. I specifically asked because I knew I was coming at a busy time and since my food was going to spend hours in a cooler I didn't want it to get soggy. I did get requests from my staff for the condiments on the side but since I didn't have time I had no choice but to move on. The staff member who made the sandwiches tried to help me when I pointed out what I wanted but I don't think she knew enough to fulfill my request so I just moved on. In the future I will just call in to double check that I get what I want specifically especially in high volume times. read more

Always forget to leave a review for this place, but it's about time. This place is always the best! Good sandwiches, good bread, and great vibes. I always get the rosemary-park bread #7 with avocado. I sometimes even get the cookie, and it is great, the service is good, and they are nice. Out of the possibly 25 or 30 times I've gone, my order has been wrong only 1 time. Normally I love Jersey Mike's. This store is the exception, and a bad one at that. First off it's always slow. One time I walked in and was told right off the bat there was a 30 minute wait. Just now I walked into a completely empty restaurant after placing an online order and they don't even know about it. Not even an apology. Orders are prepared wrong half the time. One time I came in and they said it was a good thing I ordered a tub (salad) because they were out of bread. Out of bread? Bruh you are a sandwich shop. Get your shit together. Another time they were out of white bread and only had wheat bread. Do you think I want a cheesesteak on wheat bread? JM's has good sandwiches, but this franchised store management is questionable. Won't substitute meat for a meat (costs them nothing) all other stores do. Do not give you a lot of meat here like other locations. Not friendly at all. Not worth the money coming to this location. Won't be back. Friendly staff for mobile order pickup. The only other positive is the amount of lettuce on the sub. I will not be using this location anymore. The quality of the same exact sandwich with the same exact bread type was immediately and noticeably different once unwrapped. Even the size of the sandwich was noticeably different before unwrapped. I will definitely choose to go to the location at Olympic and Bundy's. Asked the girl to add only lettuce , seemed like she was going to jump and fight us.
