    Seasoned Crinkle Fries
    Mimi R.

To the reviewer who said to get the medium spice level and that it's not spicy... you wrong for that!!!! I love spice and can handle spice. Most places spicy isn't even spicy to me. So when I was deciding which spice level to order for the first time from here, I read a review on here that said mild has no spice and to go with medium and even that might not be that spicy. Well let me tell you, the medium spice level is really spicy like to the point that my nose was runny and it kinda made my lips numb. I had to drink some milk. Next time I will be getting mild for sure! I got the sandwich and the dark meat combo. The fries were so perfect, crispy with a flavorful coating on the outside but moist on the inside. The chicken thigh was perfectly cooked. The drumstick was a little dry tbh. Their special sauce is kinda reminiscent of Chick-fil-A sauce but a little different. I know this is a chicken place but for me the star of the show was the ube cheesecake!!!! Omg if they sold an entire pie I would buy it. I love ube flavored anything but this was probably the best ube anything I have ever tried. The crust is what makes it. I can't even describe it. It's crunchy and has a caramel like flavor and it the perfect texture to go with the creamy ube cheesecake filling. The girl that raved about it on here was spot on with that. Truly one of my favorite things I've ever eaten. I can't speak for the service or ambiance as I ordered through a food delivery app.

    Combo tender/slider

A solid alternative to all those that don't care to wait 45-60 minutes in line or not close in proximity to howlin rays. Very similar taste; but the breading is more mild in flavor. Chicken was juicy for the most part. Fries were virtually similar to howlin. Cheaper. With uber eats promo, combo tender slider with fries is 16 bucks if you have uber one subscription: Pretty good deal .

I've been ordering from this Main Chick location for several years now when visiting my brother. It is a Ghost kitchen meaning you can go in to pick up your food or have it delivered through a service. I usually get tenders or the leg/thigh and everytime the crisp and flavor is there. Nicely seasoned chicken, spicy but not too spicy, i like their mild and medium. Fries can be a little too salty but since i dont eat there everyday it's probably fine. I did see reviews mentioning how their orders were not correct which is unfortunate, i have not had this issue but maybe that's because my order is smaller. Overall i like this place a lot and will be back for my hot chicken.

ok so i'm actually here to talk about the UBE. CHEESECAKE!!!!!! and the purple?! it's giving make believe food from hooks cafeteria, which i've ALWAYS wanted to try btw!!! if i'm ever sentenced to de@th, this would be my last meal. just two 9" cakes & i'm good. sayonara!!! it has me going straight plankton mode me like give me.... the formula..... chicken sliders & fries are fire too. mc sauce should be a no-brainer. took me awhile to warm up to the mac & cheese, but we're there now.

    MC Sandwich

What I Ordered: -Combo 2: 3 Chicken Tenders, Seasoned Crinkle Cut Fries, Pickles, MC Sauce Mild, Medium, and Spicy Tender $19.74 -(2)MC Sandwich (Mild) $15.98 These are the prices for DoorDash. Eating food that is sitting around in a container will never taste as fresh as eating piping hot out of the kitchen at a restaurant. This is a cold hard fact! I always consider that when reviewing orders that are delivered. The MC Sandwich (Mild) is a perfect balance of flavor. A bit of spice, but not overpowerful or overbearing. My wife is picky about food, which I've mentioned before, and she ate it later in the day and still said it was excellent. I thought it was a well-balanced sandwich. The Combo 2: 3 Chicken Tenders, Seasoned Crinkle Cut Fries, Pickles, MC Sauce Mild, Medium, and Spicy Tender was another great pick. I liked that I was able to try one of all the spice levels to see which one I liked the best. I think the medium was manageable for me. I like the spicy and could handle it. The spicy here is not as spicy as Howlin' Rays. I couldn't handle the spicy at Howlin' Rays, but could handle it here. The MC sauce is pretty good. People are saying the ranch is good. I beg to differ, but that's my opinion. I haven't tried so many hot chicken places in LA, but Main Chick is #2 spot in LA. Better than Dave's, but not as good as Howlin' Rays.

Everything was very crispy, especially the fries -- phenomenal texture and very well seasoned. Very surprising how crispy it stayed since I ordered it through Doordash and took around 30 minutes to get here. The chicken had a dry spice rub that packed a punch and was just slightly juicy inside. You can choose your preferred meat, and the sandwiches themselves were more slider-sized. The sweet sauce was a great touch -- tangy and balanced things out nicely. Overall, very good

Main Chick is not a stand alone restaurant it's part of a group of different ones but you are able to be in and out pretty quick. Main chick hot chicken makes super awesome hot chicken sandwiches. You can pick the spice level and me being a spice enthusiast I always choose the second to highest level. The sandwiches could have been a bit a crisper but were solid. They had lots of flavor and the sauce that's come on the side is really good. The fries is kinda of were it falls apart because it the seem seasoned enough. And they loose the crispness pretty quickly. But overall pretty solid. 4/5

"Spicy" chicken as unseasoned as the bread it's on

For whatever reason, there is no spice on the chicken anymore. Been going here a while and it's pretty disappointing to see last month and then some all orders of spicy are just mild fried chicken.

My favorite chicken spot! So juicy and the perfect amount of seasoning! The sauce is to die for!

Great location and ambiance, but the food quality and execution did not justify the hype…read more The Cloverfield has a fantastic location and inviting ambiance, making it an appealing spot to grab a drink or meet up with friends. Unfortunately, the food and service fell short of my expectations. The restaurant is on the pricier side, but given its desirable location and atmosphere, the pricing feels somewhat justified. Also, the restaurant business is tough to manage, especially with recent increases in rent, insurance, and supply costs. That said, based on my experience, the food is overrated compared with the praise it receives in many reviews. The Cloverfield Cheeseburger - 2/5. The menu suggests the burger is made with high-quality beef, and that may well be true. However, the patty itself tasted bland and lacked the richness and fat content needed to make it memorable. It also lacked a well-developed crust, which left the overall flavor underwhelming. The bun deteriorated after only a few bites and lacked the chewiness and structure of a good burger bun. The produce was equally disappointing. The tomatoes were pale pink, seemingly underripe, and lacked the deep, juicy sweetness that can elevate a burger. The lettuce was pale and lacked both the crisp texture and fresh flavor needed to complement the other ingredients. Overall, this burger was a letdown. The Scramble - 2/5. This breakfast plate comes with scrambled eggs, pan-fried potatoes, and toast. The potatoes tasted as though they had been sitting on the side of the griddle for some time - dry, overcooked, and lacking freshness. The scrambled eggs were similarly disappointing. They lacked the velvety texture and rich flavor that distinguish well-executed scrambled eggs from average ones. The dish was serviceable but far from memorable. Cloverfield Chili - 2.5/5. The description is promising, highlighting ingredients such as grass-fed beef and lime crema. In practice, however, the chili was merely okay. The flavor profile felt somewhat bland and one-dimensional, while the ground beef lacked the moisture and richness that make a hearty chili satisfying. More disappointing was the serving temperature - the chili arrived only slightly warm. A dish like this should be served piping hot to deliver the comforting, hearty experience diners expect. The Cloverfield excels in location and atmosphere, and I would happily return for drinks or to catch up with friends. However, the food did not live up to the expectations set by its reputation or pricing. While the setting is enjoyable, the overall dining experience left me underwhelmed.
