Having been on the gluten-free train for a few months I've been avodiing this place beucase I knew I'd be sad about skipping the bun. But I have to say, it's been years since I had a protein style burger, and it was fantstic. 100% great. No bun? No problem. I would get two next time since it's not as filling without the bread, but that's fine, just twice the goodness next time. I did order my fries well, and they came out more light-well. If you're a fry geek at In-N-Out like me, you know that the difference between light-well and well is obvious in the amonut of darker crisp fries. Well, my 'well' this time had none. So...not super great since that is what I wanted. Aside form that, the service was good. The bathrooms clean. Lots of seating. And they have ample parking too. So yea, a decent stop. read more

Just around the corner from CSUF and right off the 57 freeway. The In-N-Out's that I've been to around my area doesn't have anywhere to sit so this would be my favorite location! It has plenty of seats, but it could get crowded during lunch. I've never had trouble finding seats though. Parking can be a drag though...there's probably like 20 parking spaces? People come in and out so the wait isn't that long I suppose? I always get well done fries, a cheeseburger with grilled onions, and pink lemonade. Well done fries are the best! I like my fries crunchy and I've never had a problem with it here. Cheeseburger actually stays together and I don't have extra buns/meat hanging out for my last bite. I came here for lunch and I was satisfied. The service was good and the employees are nice. The burgers are great and I tried their protein style burger which is the burger wrapped in lettuce and I have to say, I'd get it again if I could. The lack of buns is new to me but it's a good item to get if you want a light burger with less carbs. I also recommend the light spread because it has less spread so the burger doesn't get too soggy and the burger taste doesn't get overwhelmed. Food quality at in n out is always amazing. This in n out in particular is always busy because it's right by the college. However, it's pretty spacious inside and the service is always top of the line. One thing I wish this in n out had though was a drive through. The parking lot is super small and the it's on the cross streets of Chapman and placentia. So it's super busy and kind of dangerous. Overall though the city needs an in n out and especially by the college. So I don't mind having it in the mix of all the other food spots in the area. read more

NO PARKING and NO DRIVE THRU AND to top it off DON'T be an idiot like me and think it is even ok to park on the street for even 10 mins because some asshole meter maid lurks around the corner and gets off on passing out $47 tickets. Everyone parking on the street during lunch hour will indeed get those stupid tickets. I always enjoy eating at this In-N-Out. It is near where we stay when in California so that makes it very convenient. There is no drive-thru but there is a lot of space inside to eat. This location is for sure packed at peak times but they have a lot of staff on hand to get you ordered and fed. They have handicapped seating and the parking outside is near the seats inside so that is a nice touch. Always consistent! read more

Came here for a late night snack after the Angels game. This was the first In N Out I have ever been to WITHOUT a drive through. We parked down the block and walked up. This place was packed! There was a line of about 25 people ahead of us. It moved quick though. Placed my regular order of a Double Double , no tomato with both kinds of onions (grilled and raw). I had a chocolate shake to drink and we all split one order of fries. Burger was good, looked a tad rushed but it tasted fine. The fries were a little off at this location. They got cold super duper fast...way faster than normal. The chocolate shake was great as usual. There were a grip of young folks in this joint tonight. You couldn't tell if some of them were 15 or 20. The youth of America=Danger, Danger! JK ;-) Overall it was a good late night snack. I'm a different person once I've had my In-N-Out burger. When I was in college, I used to eat every week. Once during finals week I ate everyday of the week. It was a beautiful week. My family gives me gift certificates here, and I finish a $50 gift certificate in less than a month. Do you eat In-N-Out like I eat In-N-Out? Let me describe the ways. I first take a bite of my burger. Cheesburger, extra lettuce, with no onions. Everytime. Then I take a small bite of the peperonchini. SMALL! Because this stuff is really spicy! Then I have a fry or two, dipped with ketchup. Repeat. After my burger is complete (I do get sad everytime), I drink a nice big gulp of Coke to help my heavenly offering down. And aways it goes! The food here tastes like any other In-n-Out burger place. That is not a criticism as much as it is a fact. But that's not the point. The point is the experience. I've never been to a restaurant, fast food or not, that seems to care as much for its customers. I have watched staff wave the extra tax charge for prepared food. I have been assisted in digging out my retainer from the trash by an employee. The employees maintain a smiling attitude through it all, garbage or no garbage. I've always liked this location. It's near CSUF, where I work. A bit different than most, as there is NO DRIVE-THRU. The parking lot is smallish, so I'm not going to say parking is a nightmare, but it can be a challenge. The inside seating area is large, and there are a few tables outside. Orders come up pretty quickly, as there are always lots of folks behind the counter cooking and taking orders. The burgers are consistently good, with warm, crisp buns. The lettuce is room temp too, so your burger is hot thru and thru. I don't mind no drive-thru, as I think the burgers and fries don't get better on a drive home. read more

When push comes to shove, you just can't give less than 5 stars for In N Out Burger ever, when you did taste quality beef, combined with fresh ingredients/sauce, and at a ridiculously affordable price. Throw in their cleanliness, always stocked condiment/drink station, quick service, and customer service, and it's way people flock here from out and within the state. The only disadvantage about this location is the lack of a drive through and the smallest parking area. However, locals know this and can cruise a bit further to Orange or Anaheim Hills, if need be. One of my other fave things about In N Out is the options/secret menu. You can get it Protein Style, aka without a bun, and your fries can be Animal Style, which is thousand island dressing and diced, grilled onions basically. The shakes are a nice treat, as well, and you can ask for silly sticker packs for the kids. Die hards can purchase souvenier shirts, hats, bumper stickers, and such. read more

This In-N-Out is right around the corner from where I live. Needless to say my friends and I tend to end up here late at night on the weekends. Come here late at night... any night.. and you'll find your fair share of drunks. The employees are clearly used to it. They look at each customer at night (drunk or not... they just assume you're on something) with pity. I guess they're sick of seeing so many losers, but they shouldn't complain when they're some of the highest paid fast food workers in CA. This is one of very few In-N-Outs that doesn't actually have a drive thru. It's one of the oldest as well. It's always nice and clean. You'll encounter many interesting people here no matter what time of day. Of course, the food is the best. I love getting a plain cheeseburger with deep fried animal style fries. Grilled cheese sandwiches and double doubles are also to die for. read more
