Look up those massive cut onions. I ordered a bowl of chili, not a side of onion.

The one star is for the very nice service I got from the cashier. Unfortunately, your food is very bland and tasteless. I thought since the restaurant smelled so good when I walked in that I was in for a nice treat. Boy was I wrong, the burger is absolutely tasteless, the french fries were undercooked, and the little side of chili I got you dot with chunky pieces of onion that we're all mismatched size. Nobody wants a mouthful of baked onions that have not been cut down properly. $18 in the trash.

Boy's Hamburgers is so much more than just a burger joint... Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is served and right now during happy hour $1.50 for a beer. You definitely can't beat that. The food is great, the service is great and you are supporting a long time hometown family business!

Best burger place in Palm Springs/ Cathedral City hands down!!! I've searched all over this place, different price ranges, different areas throughout this desert. Nothing compares to these beautiful burgers! I don't eat meat often. For several reasons but when I do it's got to be right.

It was the most horrible food I ate in my life My family and I visited the restaurant after a day of hiking and it was totally disappointed

It was very easy to spot from the road and had lots of parking. Walking in it was super clean and smelled yummy. Lots of seating inside and outside with ceiling fans. Was able to order easily and with soooo many options. The woman who took my order was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She took the order and got everything right. She was also who served us and she did amazing. My partner and I never had an empty drink and got so many condiments. The food was hot and fresh. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were perfectly seasoned. I got a lunch box that gave me a bit of all the sides (zucchini, fries, onion rings) and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to eat there again!!

I got there before 6:30am opening. Waited 5 minutes even but doors were still locked. No biggie. But the lady there doesn't even greet you. She moves at a snails pace, doesn't even look you in the eye. Looks like she's close to rolling her eyes at you at simple requests. I saw they had a special for the club sandwich and asked for that and she looked like it bothered her. Barely says a word to you. The fries are cold and hard. Flavorless. The drink was flat...and very tiny for a medium...very soggy sandwich. this place isn't like it use to be.

One of the few places in the desert that offers good food at a decent price, and good portion sizes. It may be just like any other grill type of establishment, ie goody's, John's chelo's, that's exclusively a desert thing, but the reason why I come back, is the lunch box combo meal. My go to is the double hamburger lunch box, and an Arnold Palmer to wash it down with. Dipping sauce is their ranch, which is a tad watery, but nonetheless a tasty dipping sauce. The staff is super accommodating and friendly, always checking up on you to see how you're doing and asking if you need a refill on your drink, and I even got a chance to watch a little bit of Jurassic park when I was there ( it was showing on tbs). My only beef (no pun intended) is the dimly lit dining area inside some parts of the restaurant. Mind you, it does give it that charm of an old school 70's vibe, but for some of us that maybe physically or visually impaired, it's something to consider when dining there at night. Ample seating and well stocked with amenities, I recommend them for some good food, and good vibes and again, one of those desert staples that has been in the same spot for as long as I can remember. Thanks!

Boy's hamburgers is a diner style restaurant with American and Mexican dishes. I ordered the hamburger combo for $8.85, which comes with a side of fries and a drink. I also added cheese on my burger which was an additional 65 cents. My boyfriend ordered the chicken burrito and 2 Cabeza tacos. After you order your meal at the register and decide to dine in, they provide table service and unlimited drink refills. Our server was very nice and came by our table often to refill our drinks despite her being busy working the register. My burger and fries were sizable portions that filled me up well. My cheeseburger tasted very good, and the fries were thick and crispy. The chicken burrito was also very filling but was too greasy. We were disappointed that the burrito fell apart at the bottom while trying to eat it because of the amount of grease that soaked through the tortilla. In addition, their chicken could have been season more. As for the Cabeza tacos, I actually enjoyed them, but was also on the overally greasy side. Cheeseburger: 4/5 Fries: 4/5 Chicken burrito: 2/5 Cabeza taco: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Final rating: 3.5 stars but I'll round up to 4 stars

Sunday brunch is always a thing we try to maintain…read more Gives us the chance to go someplace new but I tend to return to places that made a lasting impression. This place being one of them. We arrived close to 1 in the afternoon. They open till 3 so we still had some time. Checked in with the hostess which for indoor seating it would be about 25 minutes or so for a table. They did have open tables available on the patio which that was the only option at the moment. Mind you even with the misters going on and the shade covering, I was sticking to my clothes. I do love the heat but, it was too hot and humid and kind of unbearable to enjoy a meal. Instead, went back inside to put our name down for a table inside. Luckily, there was an open one available which we were offered. Made a huge difference with the patio. It was the table by the door so whenever the door opened, you still felt the hot air. Anyways, beats eating outside. Norma was our waitress which she was amazing and very sweet. Friendly which is alway a plus anywhere you go. Menu, they have a good selection for breakfast as well as specialty plates for lunch. Sandwiches, salads and other amazing items. As it was Sunday brunch, I do love a good breakfast. We started off with some mimosas. They offer both the bottle or by the glass. Both selections you would need to add orange juice which is an additional fee. Last time we went with the bottle and a carafe of orange juice. Still decent for 25.00 and additional fee for the juice. But this time we opted for the glass which comes out to 10.00 and it comes with two refills. Additional 2.00 for the orange juice. So basically 3 glass for 10.00 which you can't beat. Food, the hangover omelette. I enjoyed it last time that it was ordered again. 3 egg omelette with ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, bell pepper, serrano peppers and topped with green onions, sour cream and cheddar cheese. That's come with your choice of toast and a side which their tots are alway good. Also a side order of pancakes, 1 piece. Then the steak caprese omelette. That was a first time trying it and it was great. 3 egg with cubes new your steak, fresh spinach, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, melted mozzarella and their house made pesto. Also comes with your choice of bread and a side. Went with the fruit which was blueberries, a couple of grapes and pineapple chunks. Not the prettiest selection but it'll do. Both omelette was tasty and plentiful. Their food was good and we enjoyed everything. Omelette was flavorful which is a plus. Also can't go wrong with the tater tots. Their other items looked amazing from all the dishes being brought out. Definitely need to try it next time. Plus you can't beat the mimosas deal for 10.00. Service was great and Norma took very good care of us. The place isn't that big. It's probably the same amount of seating inside and outside. Inside also has bar seating that looks into the kitchen. But with the heatwave that's going on. Kind of expected for the summer but outside seating could be a little uncomfortable even with the mister spraying. Inside could be a little wait but I would recommend it as it'll be more comfortable with your meal. Until next time.

Our overall experience was lacking in almost every way. We were seated outside, and this was bad. The only available table was on the side by the street, and we were in full blast range for the wind and the sound of their outdoor AC. I can't put it to words how this impacted our overall meal, and the immediate regret we felt. Their indoor seating was also not going to be possible for us because of just how loud it was. Our server took our food and drink order right away, but she never checked in on us after the drop off. I ordered the Irish iced coffee, looking forward to getting a nice treat drink. I ended up getting just a regular iced coffee, and unfortunately I had no chance to try and flag anyone down to get this sorted out since we were never checked on once the items were delivered. This includes the waters we ordered for the table as well. The only good thing about this was that I was only charged for an iced coffee. The eggs Benedict were simply "ok" and rather unremarkable. They arrived just above room temperature and while they weren't bad, they weren't great either. The sandwich was fine, but the home fries were over seasoned by far and had way too much salt. Overall, this was a disappointing brunch. Unless they really look into the quality of the food, the lack of table service, and their terrible side dining area by their outdoor AC, I can say we have no plans on returning.

We stopped by here for a night to split up a road trip…read more We had been wanting to come since we wanted to see their golf course for another time and it was a really nice location. Golf course was closed but we were still able to see it. It's a big property. Lots to do. Do like they allow dogs since we had ours. They had multiple pools which we liked. We didn't use it but near one. Neither one looked too busy which was nice. Once we got settled into our room we went to go see Pinz and Pints since they had arcade games, including a duckpin bowling. My son was really excited about that. When we went they had a complimentary drink and candy bar. Drinks they offer are limited but still decent. We did get some food there as well. We got their nachos, Mac and cheese, and chicken tenders for my son. Both the nachos and Mac and cheese were really good. Love nachos and wanted to keep eating them. The next morning we went for breakfast at Pinzimini. They have a buffet option and also have a standard breakfast menu to choose items from. My husband got their brioche French toast and I selected to do their buffet. I know he liked the French toast. I liked the items offered in their buffet. They had a mix of mini pastries, cooked items, fruit. I primarily stuck with their pastries and fruit. Overall it was a nice location. Golf course is big. Hopefully we can go again and experience more of the items they offer.

The resort fee also felt hard to justify. The included amenities did not seem to match the extra charge. The two complimentary drinks were limited to Truly canned drinks or a small pour of hard lemonade or iced tea, which felt underwhelming for a resort of this caliber. We did enjoy the range balls, but as early risers, I would have appreciated access to the spa or pool earlier in the morning. Unfortunately, the room itself left a lot to be desired. The bed sheets had what looked like an oil or grease stain, the closet door was broken, and the overall furnishings and finishes felt worn and dated rather than well maintained. This is very much a family resort, so that is worth keeping in mind if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Even at the adults-only Paloma Pool, children were jumping into the water and splashing guests' drinks while parents appeared unconcerned. That made it difficult to relax in what was supposed to be a peaceful setting. On a positive note, the entrance walkway, lobby, and open-air courtyard are beautiful and make for a strong first impression. Unfortunately, that charm does not extend to the guest rooms, which are clearly in need of a refresh.
