Loved everything about India Bar & Grill. Its authentic cuisine was wonderfully served with kindness. The ambience was inviting , calming with peaceful instrumental acoustic playing. Service was A+ I will 100% be back!

Another AMAZING dinner at India Bar and Grill! We love the intimate atmosphere, and especially loved trying some of the new specials tonight. The best part was the server explaining the right was to eat the dosa! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, it's a family favorite!

Visited India Bar and Grill for lunch buffet over a weekend. They have limited options in the buffet but most of the items are delicious. The spice level is on the mild level (in buffet). If you like spicy food, you might want to request them to prepare it spicy for you (à la carte). The Biriyani was not great. Their desserts were all good (rice pudding, Gulab Jamun, Mango Kulfi). We especially liked the Mango Kulfi. Medhu Vada was one of the best in the menu. Peas cutlet was very delicious too - not too greasy and well cooked. Interiors - it was nicely decorated and the tables were all clean. The service was great. The person that helped us was very polite and professional. Overall a pleasant experience with mild food and good ambience. We will definitely visit again.

Our go-to place for Indian food. The Lamb Korhma is fabulous. Love the Mango Lassi and the Garlic Naan. My wife loves the gulab jamon.

Went here for a birthday celebration. The food was good though difficult to identify so lots of questions were asked. The naan was the best!

We loved almost everything we tried. They have a fairly extensive menu, with lots of apps, street foods, curries, and some surprise dishes that aren't so easily found at other Indian spots. We tried the dahi puri, paneer makhani, tandoori murg, makki roti with sarson ka saag, and several naan. The paneer was creamy with tons of flavor, and my husband said the roti with saag dish reminded him of home - big win! The dahi puri was cool and brightly flavored and crunchy and creamy, perfect starter on a hot day. The only thing I would maybe pass on is the tandoori chicken - while it came out sizzling with a great char, it had some strange flavors, almost like they mixed in chili Gobi or something with it? Not bad, just not what was expected, especially since everything else really hit it out of the park. The restaurant was empty when we arrived at an off time, but started to fill up quickly as we approached dinner time. Family friendly, as we brought our baby and felt comfortable with her both in a wagon and high chair, the service was kind and very accommodating. Can't wait to come back and try more the next time an Indian food craving hits!

It was not, it was an assortment of dishes which were all tasty. There was rice, naan, a chicken dish, a lamb/beef dish, a veggie dish, a crunchy bread, and a piece of galub jamun for dessert. The lamb was probably was favorite and was gone very quickly. The chicken was a close second and had a ton of flavor which the naan soaked up nicely. The galub jamun was a pleasant surprise as well. I got an order to go, it was syrupy and a perfect sweet treat to end a savory meal. I would go back! P.s. I ordered mild and the nice waitress politely insisted on medium. It wasn't an issue but I was glad I didn't order it any hotter than that lol!

We started off with the vegetable platter, which features three delicious vegetarian appetizers. In addition to vegetable pakoras and samosas, there was bhajita, spinach and onion stuffed potato wedges. These came with delicious little cups of chutney--one mint and one tamarind. This appetizer was a hit, even for the most devoted carnivore in the party. We also tried the pashwari naan--it's a sweet naan that is filled with coconut and golden raisins. My mom in particular loved it. It would be a wonderful foil for a spicy curry. For our mains, mom ordered the kebab, which came with dal (we picked the golden lentil dal, and I might possibly have had "just a taste" several times. (Verdict: it's yummy!) I ordered the paneer chili balti, a comforting balti that is sweet, savory, and salty with warming spices. The rice was also exactly right--fluffy, perfectly salted, and just the right texture. We also got the mango chutney, which is a tart, sweet, salty, savory, amazing flavor bomb. Try it at least once. For dessert, we shared the kulfee and ras malai. These aren't on the menu at every Indian restaurant, and since first having tried them (at India Palace, in fact), I know that they'll always be my first choice when I see them, especially the kulfee. Holy wow. As usual, the service was great--friendly, attentive, prompt, and helpful, the staff here makes sure you get what you need. Despite the fairly full house, it was easy to have a conversation. This is a relaxing place to enjoy a meal. The music is quiet, the decor interesting, and the seating comfortable. All in all, the cure for a bad week!

First the Butter Chicken spicy was an omg-this-is-sooo-good mumble at first bite because the spice level was perfect, the chicken thighs succulent and meaty, and that sauce was a savory flavor bomb. I've always been a curry or tikki masala kind of chicken eater but this Butter Chicken blows those away. A must try. Good grief I'm salivating writing about it. The Garlic Naan was a perfect sauce-sopper for the Butter Chicken. I wish they offered pots of fresh chutneys with the naan, but that's ok. That's really minor. Lemon Rice sounded fresh and refreshing but holy spice, Batman! It was unexpectedly deliciously hot and had a deep lemon flavor. Cooked with whole roasted spices, slices of peppers and curry leaves this was a top favorite. Some of the whole spice things (not sure what they were tbh) were hard but most added a crunchy texture. The soups I had, Sweet Corn Soup and Hot & Sour Soup were home runs. Both had plenty of veggies and packed a spicy kick. The H&S soup was not like you'll get at Chinese or other Asian restaurants, but it was hot and not sour. It's just different but still so delicious. There are so many vegetarian dishes on the menu everyone should be able to eat well.

Unfortunately I received two chicken tikka masala, not the butter chicken. Additionally there was no rice for the order. My husband called to let them know the order was not correct and Kadai said what we received WAS butter chicken-- apparently they use the same sauce for both butter chicken and tikka masala? Hmm. We'd had the butter chicken just last week so we know what that tastes like- it's super good! And we've had the chicken tikka from Kadai before (see my previous review) and it has a distinct taste that I don't personally prefer. Kadai was adamant that the only difference between the two is that chicken tikka has onions and bell pepper. Inconsistent experience and disappointing customer service.
