My go to for take out! Love their vegetarian options as well as chicken dishes. Daba Dal is my personal favorite almond with gobi manchurian. There is also an option to order online which is super easy. There is also a legit Indian grocery store right next door where you can find just about anything. read more

Came to grand rapids for a family event. We ate at the restaurant as well as got the food catered at the hotel. The food tastes really good; especially the daal and goat curry. The staff is very-friendly and super-accommodating. Got at least one meal from this place for 3 days straight. I would highly recommend this place!! read more

We had a very bad experience at this restaurant on Jan 1'2020.We went there for the buffet being the new year but the chef and his cronies ruined our new year..the waiter would come often and check on us then he started asking us why you wasting food etc etc..my kids did not like the food as it was spicy and these buffs were very very in hospitable...We paid them the bill in full and also left him a bakshish- Travelled around the world but never experienced such a humiliation that too just because we went there..Shame on this so called chef of 25 years..Ramesh P is not the owner anymore but this Buffon still hides behind Ramesh 's name and responds to reviews..Shame on you! read more

Great food for the price! We had the grilled meat sampler - the chicken in particular was very flavorful and juicy. We also had the Palak Paneer (cheese in spinach sauce). Delicious! Whoever writes a bad review for this place is crazy. Considering the other options you all have in GR this place is great. What more can you ask for the food is consistent and tasty. The people who work there are extremely friendly, and the chef makes modification to any dish I want. I have a dairy intolerance and he whips me up dairy free dishes. read more

Wow. I wish i could give them more stars. We were so impressed by so much freshness! The sauce for the palaak paneer was actually made out of FRESH spinach! We had the lunch buffet and it was delicious. A little on the spicy side, but I dont like spice and this was perfect for me. We literally felt like we were eating food from the markets of india. So authentic and flavors we had never experienced before. They had so many different things to try on the buffet, along with the usuals. We will be back. FOR SURE!! New favorite spot. Great takeout on a work trip. Had the lamb bhuna gosht which was a plentiful portion. Also had tandoori naan which was thick and perfectly cooked. Thought that everything was a bit expensive though. $1.50 for just a can of pop brought everything to just under $20. All in all very delicious and would order again. read more

Seriously shocked at how good it was. Not really supposed to talk about service when grading a restaurant, but from the moment we walked in, until we left the staff was extremely friendly. The food itself on the buffet was very tasty. There was a much larger variety than I am used to with "americanized" indian buffets. That, and there were actually spices with some kick. I have pretty much quit going to indian buffets because of boredom with the bland dishes. But this is definitely the exception. Also included is chai and delicious indian desserts. This place ROCKS!!! After my previous Indian restaurant changed their recipes, the food because very disappointing. In my search for a new place, I found Indian Masala. I ordered my favorite staple dish, Chicken Tikka Masala, as a way to test what they were like. It was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Flavorful and thick sauce, large pieces of chicken that were nice and tender, so incredibly delicious. I then went back for the buffet with some family and we were absolutely delighted with the food choices on that as well. Many dishes with large pieces of meat in them and a good amount vegetarian options as well. All flavorful and delicious, and the price for the buffet was absolutely shocking, just $9.99!! I am definitely making this my new go-to Indian restaurant and I am so happy to have found an awesome new place. Very very very bad ownership! I tried returning the goat biryani because it sucked and the owner/chef said that this is their recipe and would not return it! He was so adamant and I had to pay $14 for something that was not authentic at all. Ugh never gonna go here again!! Compared to other Indian restaurants in Grand Rapids, I feel like this restaurant lacks flavor. It needs more spice. More flavor. I really enjoyed the butter chicken. However, the tandoori chicken, goat, and chai tea were not so great. The mango juice tasted like it was from concentrate. When I eat Indian food, I expect rich, complex flavors and delicious naan bread. This restaurant met my expectation for a buffet, however it did not exceed my expectation for Indian cuisine.
