I needed a part for a cooler motor that was near impossible to get. I have searched everywhere, and even contacted the manufacturer of the motor (they told me just buy a new $230 motor). I did not get the name of the counter man who helped me. At first he seemed very irritated with my questions and requests, but after talking to him more he seemed to soften up some. He explained why the part was not something that can be bought, but he did get me the part from a defective motor. He even answered my questions about cooler pump maintenance. I also needed a part for an Air conditioner that was almost impossible to find. unfortunately they could not get it either but I expected that. there is much gatekeeping in the Air conditioning business. I have purchased parts from here to refurbish an Aerocool unit and they had all the parts I needed: spider bearing assemblies, Leather washers, Louvers, and belts all for very reasonable prices. I am not some rando who hacks stuff together. I have experience repairing coolers going back 40 years. I have replaced, or repaired heat exchangers in Air conditioners/furnaces as well as other components. I have rebuilt cooler motors, and even repaired the blown defrost board in my AC unit. I'm truly delighted to give a 5 review to "Indoor Comfort Supply " I've made two purchases by telephone within the last month (March 2019) I live in California ! When I discovered I needed additional parts for the Wet Section of one of my Evap Coolers an AEROCOOL 6800 PRO, I called again and was SO fortunate to reach the Manager, SCOTT AUSTIN I have NEVER had a better Customer service experience "in my life " 1. SCOTT listened carefully ( that was amazing in itself ) 2. He then carefully explained all the parts I needed for My specific unit And really took all the time needed ! 3. That being accomplished he went on to carefully provide me with "three different options" for doing the job! And when he was certain that I understood ALL the complexities I then felt very satisfied and confident in choosing an option which replaced a few old parts which were still working but were very old ( 16 years ) The expense of shipping a large order like mine is quite high ( about $175 ) but that amount is predetermined by a separate freight company So SCOTT made certain I understood that too ! Locally here in California when our A/C COMPANIES who do maintenance and repair are called out , they think nothing of marking up media pads for example which cost under $200 and charge their customers about $900 ! I'm sure , had I called them in they would have done the same for all the parts I ordered from SCOTT ! I made an investment of over $1000 but it was money Well spent and not wasted I've practically rebuilt my one Evap Cooler and my other identical one has brand new correct sized media pads ! So thank you Scott for my flawless customer service and a delightful conversation as well ! Hello everyone, I am writing this review to let everyone know how awesome of an experience I had today with Brian Robert, the Owner of Indoor Comfort Supply. I called to order replacement pads for my tired Adobair Mastercool EC630 and a lot of needed maintenance items. (They have a breakdown of most cooler parts like our military maintenance technical manuals). Made in the USA items are hard to find these days and I'm sure everyone knows that. Being in the military for over 23 years is why I try to buy only in the USA. (Actually if you go over seas, everyone loves "made in the USA" products). I love my country and the great people in it. Brian was very knowledgeable, respectful, and funny. Part of being a great company is to offer the customer the best price possible for the best product. Brian sure did this by offering a military discount to offset the shipping. Support from organizations like this is why our country is great. This is a review for the 28th St. & Indian School store. I recently had an A/C check-up on my house, and the technician wanted crazy money for some work that is quite DIY. So, I did my research, learned what parts I need for the work and, instead of ordering online, decided to pick them up in town. A little googling led me to Indoor Comfort Supply. Stopped in there this morning (they're open from 8-12 on Saturdays, which is great for the weekend DIY warrior), and the service was awesome. I'm not entirely sure what the other reviewer was looking for when they said 'not much product in stock' - they appeared to have all the commonly-needed HVAC repair parts. They certainly had everything I needed, and more. I found the service to be extremely friendly. The fellow working - I assume he was the owner/manager - got the parts I knew I needed, and talked me through how to do another part of the job and made sure I had everything necessary for that, as well. While I hope I don't have to make a habit out of repairing my A/C units, I will -definitely- be coming back here to get parts if I do need to do more repairs. Yesterday I smelled THAT smell - the one that tells you that something electrical is burning out! Sure enough, my evap cooler motor had fried, and didn't make it through the night. This morning I took it off and schlepped it up to Indoor Comfort Supply, my go-to place for evaporative cooler parts of a higher quality than the big box store carries, plus friendly and knowledgeable advice. Sure enough, Brian had the motor in stock. He took pity on this Do-It-Herself on a day that is forecast to top out at 112 degrees, and put the kit together for me. I appreciate anyone lessening my time on the roof on a day like today! It's all done and checking in at 78 degrees - yay! I first found this place in the middle of winter, when my roof was being replaced and my roofer suggested that I change the rusted out cooler legs, as long as they were off anyway. The folks here have always been helpful, and gone out their way to assist me with any questions I have about my evaporative cooler. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to repair a swamp cooler, but their website is very informative and the expert advice is worth the trip for me! FYI, I think the hours on this listing might be a bit off - I found them open at 8 am today (Friday). read more

They sent me the wrong Pads for my evaporative cooler and expect me to pay to ship them back to them. They don't sell the parts that they had online and that I ordered but they never said anything to me before shipping out the parts. I've emailed them twice and they won't email me back. This is my go to place for Evap cooler parts even though I live in East Mesa. Their stock of parts far surpasses that of the big box stores...although someone expecting to see all said parts on display is missing out on one of the best features of this store...Customer Service. You tell one of the two knowledgeable and friendly men what you need and they disappear into the back and come out with your item. The last time I was in the service from Scott was exceptional. My sister was carrying in a heavy motor and he came out, unasked, and took it from her. He then carried both the old and the new unit to the car. When the belt size we needed was out of stock, he told us of a nearby business that carried it...and then called to see that it was in stock for us. Exceptional customer service. read more

I've been working with these folks for years although it was a shock to find out that they had moved over to Cave Creek Rd into a brand new building on the SE corner of Cave Creek and Thunderbird/Cactus. I needed a pump motor and rode my bicycle. Got a good ride albeit unintended. Coming home was down hill. They don't run a fancy business, but are very informative and helpful in their knowledge about Swamp Coolers. They feature Mastercool Swamp Coolers which are locally built in Phoenix. This current unit is about at it's end as we have had it about 15 years (more due to the steel casing rusting out. Swamp coolers are very useful for cooling before the Monsoon when the humidity is low and for whole house air circulation without starting up the Air Conditioner at other times. If you are unfamiliar with Swamp Coolers greenhouses use them for cooling plants and many large buildings use the same principal for cooling along with Air Conditioning. They are simple in design so that the home owner can repair them. Over the years the water pump for the pad has needed to be changed about every other year as the motor shaft in it is steel and rusts off, plus one pad has been replaced. I did change the wet section of the swamp cooler, where the pad is located, to Stainless Steel. I like stainless steel, though it is expensive. The marine industry uses it more and more as it does not rust in salt water. read more

i am still waiting for the aero cool i ordered on line. five days have turned into nine days. left az, and dropped the box in l.a., or fontana, then onto fresno,ca. to then schedule a appt, for the delivery.?? so five days have turned into, twelve,. i can only pray my cooler does not get here all bent up or missing parts, p.l.e.a.s.e... well maybe i will get it installed for next summer?? hope my review is better next time. good luck to all ordering from california. i will say the personnell are very informative and nice. read more
