I love this place! Been coming here for authentic Pakistani type cuisine. The food is so flavorful. My favorites are the biriyani and haleem. If I'm in the area, I would go here to meet my cravings. And for all my friends who love Indian food, I recommend this place for them to try. It's kind of a hole in the wall vibes. It's in the Indian/Pakistan market. Also great for those who are looking for halal goods. Everyone there is so nice and respectful. Most of it if self service for the market itself and for the food, you would order up front at the restaurant. 11/10 recommend. Check this place out for some flavorful Indian and Pakistani food. Till then, let's eat!

Beware: CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE. this place has consistently and repeatedly overcharged on receipts (as you can see on old comments as well) . This time, when my elderly mother confronted them, the "manager" who also claims to be the owner (name: Abida Islam) started harassing and verbally ASSAULTING her. this unhinged woman hurled invectives at a ELDERLY senior citizen and would not let her leave the premises. Finally the police arrived and had to settle the matter. I am going to take further action and report them to the State department. Anyone else who has had this experience, please message me. TAKE ACTION If you or anyone you know has experienced: -food poisoning -expired products please fulfill your civic duty and file a complaint (it takes two minutes) https://www.foodsafety.gov/food-poisoning/report-problem-with-food To report price gauging and other dishonest practices, fill out this form: https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection/file-consumer-complaint

I get all my halal meat from IndoPak Supermarket & Cafe since my move to Dallas. This is a huge supermarket which mostly carries Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Indian products. The meat section is pretty large with a good variety of meat including organic meat. The people who work in the meat department are my favorite because they always make sure to attend to me even on a busy day. They actually know what I will order by now. The other side of the store includes mostly the basic things like spices, frozen food, rice, and snacks, etc. The cafe is on one side which offers a wide variety of desi food which is decent. The customer service is generally good and they make an effort to ask if you need help.

Rolando was our server he was attentive & gave us good service. We ordered cioppino & rainbow trout grilled with mashed potatoes & corn as our sides. Trout was finely prepared nicely grilled & seasoned. Loved the corn with chipotle seasoning it went very well with the fish & potatoes were good. But Cioppino was not how it's usually prepared the broth seemed very light , seasoning was not up to the mark & the mussels were ok ... had better mussels in other places... it's a seafood place so we were expecting nice juicy mussels but the meat in clams & mussels were extremely small.... That was a let down... we did take the leftover broth to have it later but it didn't tasted good ( turned very sour) so threw it away... Maybe it was one of the off day but we felt disappointed... will try something else if we visit again.

From the Off-putting odor that hits you as you enter the premise to the rather dull interiors, the place did not create any excitement. Seating though ample was kinda weird with booths available to the end of the restaurant, which seemed rather dark and uninviting. The service by Rolando was friendly and courteous which was the saving grace. The Cioppino seemed more like a tomato broth in taste and looks with some seafood thrown in. Lacked the flavors and odors of a great dish that it could have been. Seafood added to it while fresh did not seem to be of great quality. The grilled swordfish with whipped potatoes and corn was good. Will come back if there are no other options

This Mitsuwa location is located within a strip plaza with a good amount of parking. There are two entrances, with one closer to the food court area. The marketplace is smaller than the Mitsuwa location I used to frequent in Edgewater, New Jersey, and possibly closer in size to the Waikiki location, but that was to be expected. Their food court area was also small and had a handful of restaurants. The restrooms are located all the to the right side of the establishment, past the food court. While there are many Japanese goods available at this marketplace, the goods are not inexpensive. I appreciate they have my favorite drinks like CC Lemon and matcha, Japanese beauty products, and even some harder to come by Hawaiian Suns. There is a section to pick up pre-made sushi and cold food items as well as a pre-made and heat lamp covered area for hot food items, but both looked kind of dry. Not my favorite Mitsuwa location but would suffice and happy to have it around when I do need something in particular.

I was craving for healthy Middle Eastern goodies and Blue Fig came up on Yelp. We ventured to this store located in a sparse shopping center in the middle of beautiful homes. What we found... Ample parking Clean interior and for its small space it certainly carries many essential items: Home made flat bread - a must! It's baked on the old stone round ovens. I found rose water used for cooking in savory dishes and even in the sweets I bake. A tip for you ladies, the rose water in Middle Eastern markets are well priced and I use it as a toner for my face. I found some frozen Indian Roti in the frozen section amongst many other international goodies. Also, my favorite Turkish cheese or Lebanese cheese Labneh was priced well. Also got a can of garbanzo beans to make home made hummus. Definitely a must to go here if you are in the area. All the prices were reasonable. Why 4 star and not 5. There was only one cashier open and she was talking to another worker as the lines started to get longer. As for service you will have to look for it and ask questions. Overall a good first time experience and got all the necessary items we needed. I almost forgot, they have a small fresh fruits and vegetables section. Enjoy!

Well the DOJ is responsible to enforce the ADA and can fine the store up to $75,000 for first offense but they claim while my complaint is valid they will take no action. Also notified Ken Paxton's office-awaiting response.
