I love this place! Been coming here for authentic Pakistani type cuisine. The food is so flavorful. My favorites are the biriyani and haleem. If I'm in the area, I would go here to meet my cravings. And for all my friends who love Indian food, I recommend this place for them to try. It's kind of a hole in the wall vibes. It's in the Indian/Pakistan market. Also great for those who are looking for halal goods. Everyone there is so nice and respectful. Most of it if self service for the market itself and for the food, you would order up front at the restaurant. 11/10 recommend. Check this place out for some flavorful Indian and Pakistani food. Lack of good hygiene and cleanliness in the store. In a recent visit, dirty water was seen coming from under the fresh vegetables unit and meat juices observed on the display shelves in the back. A small bag of sugar on the shelf had a hole in it with a red substance on the exterior and interior of the bag. Staff appeared uninterested in resolving the negative issues. read more

They only get as many stars I gave them due to their OK selection in their grocery store. Their cafe is a mess! Food is just ok and service is subpar. Had a terrible experience with one of their staff members about a $3 item not tasting right, she refused to do anything about it. I haven't gone back since. This time, when my elderly mother confronted them, the "manager" who also claims to be the owner (name: Abida Islam) started harassing and verbally ASSAULTING her. this unhinged woman hurled invectives at a ELDERLY senior citizen and would not let her leave the premises. From long time I was thinking I should write praise about my favorite supermarket and cafe INDOPAK. But just kept thinking and today decided to put pen to paper. INDOPAK supermarket is a great place for grocery and related items with purchase able price. Worker's behavior is positive with smiley mood. One-month ago INDOPAK SUPERMARKET appointed a lady workers name MADHU. As a customer often we do Hilo Hi with store wrokers. One day after talking with MADHU I knew she had never did grocery supermarket job. But surprizingly she has God gifted perfectionist. MADHU nature is positive. I asked MADHU how you deal with the customers; she said multinational companies' slogan is "Customer is always alright" I pray for INDOPAK continue to appoint worker like MADHU and continue to progress. read more

I get all my halal meat from IndoPak Supermarket & Cafe since my move to Dallas. This is a huge supermarket which mostly carries Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Indian products. The meat section is pretty large with a good variety of meat including organic meat. The people who work in the meat department are my favorite because they always make sure to attend to me even on a busy day. They actually know what I will order by now. The other side of the store includes mostly the basic things like spices, frozen food, rice,and snacks, etc. The cafe is on one side which offers a wide variety of desi food which is decent. The customer service is generally good and they make an effort to ask if you need help. read more

Cafe Review. Being a customer here is like being addicted to crack.you know it's not the best stuff but its good enough and it's cheap. Saying that is a bit of d disservice to the food because it is tasty. It's not the best but I would describe it as yummy. The chicken biryani and the rolls are usually spot on. The chicken patties are rarely fresh but nostalgia for the old country helps them cross the finish line. The service .. come-on. You're not going to go to a cafe in the middle of a grocery store for service. That said they are slow. Order over the phone and give it another 10-15 minutes on top of what you're told. IndoPak Plano - Prices are way to high compare to other stores. Madjool dates, for example, they are charging more then twice. Taking advantage of people, during the holy month, shame on them. There's a reason why people have stopped going here. Horrible customer experience and stale meats is becoming more common here. Customer experience is horrendous - they over charge on your receipt. PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPTS, they double charge items or in the food court charge you for items and not give you the items. Please pay close attention to your meats. I've had stale given to me (you can't smell it because it's plastic wrapped) and I'm pretty sure they take the stale meats to "cook" in thei food court. I am not coming back here. We bought shrimp, and it's completely rotten. We both 2 packets and both were rotten My mom cooked a batch from here, and I had food poisoning. Also they sell expired packaging. See image. IndoPak service quality is always bad regardless their prices. But this review is mainly for serving rotten/smelly food. I ordered Ruhi fish and rice to go. When there and picked up, went home and found the food was smelly. Called them and the lady suggested me to call back in the morning when the manager is around to give store credit or dispute. Called back next day and the manager advised me to bring the food back with prof!! I told him this review is coming if he does not dispute the transaction himself. Anywhere you go, not only they would give you money back but also give you free new dish. How stupid can a manager be, does not care of the business's reputation. This place sells rotten frozen fish, and after the cut, packed it without showing that to me. I bought two Hilsa fishes clean and cut and paid $88 on Dec 7th evening. But when I opened that at my home, it was not very good; the following day called them and went again to their shop, but they disagreed with replacing or returning. I went to buy groceries for my neighbors. The onions were moldy. I spoke with the manager and he picked up multiple onions and said they were fresh. He then pointed at another bin of products and said, "If you don't like, go over here." There were flies everywhere and mold on onions. read more

This has to be my favorite lunch spot in Plano... $3 chicken biryani!!! A mountain of chicken and rice with a salad on the side... can't be beat! It isn't the best biryani around, but for $3 you can't shake a stick at that! Plus they have movies with subtitles to read while you're eating! This place sells rotten meat. I have gotten rotten meat on multiple occasions. Last time I had to throw away 45 dollar worth of lamb. One time I found a fly in the package of chicken. Avoid this place like you would avoid someone with covid. read more

To tell you the truth, the place the Cafe is inside of the grocery store...not much on looks. But, let me tell you...the food is DELICIOUS! Everything (Vegtearian) that I've tried has been freshly made, and delicious. To me, this is my escape from the World of commercialized Indian/Pakistani food...this place doesn't disappoint at all. This store is mean to their customers. I have been coming here for, 2 years and I have gotten a rude attitude from the workers there. The environment there is unwelcoming as are the workers. The prices are over priced and to demanding. This store does not know how to treat their customers or teach there workers how to interact with people. Initially, My husband and I intended to go to Korean Market next door but It was closed down. So we decided to peep this place out. We would probably still stop here anyway even Korean store was open. This must to be the biggest India Grocery store I've been to. They had variety of stuff from Rice to Produce to mixes to Meat. Customer service here is exceptional. Every time I walk in the door they greet me with salam and make me feel like a friend rather than just a customer. I never need to go to any other market for anything, they have everything I need. Sometimes when my husband comes along we stop at the cafe and have a quick bite to eat. I haven't shop much to compare prices for the grocery. So, no comments except to observe the store is clean. I am familiar with this store/restaurant from Richardson. You really cannot beat the prices on the menu items. $2.99 for chicken biryani! That's cheaper than a burger. More food and a little healthier :) The food is very tasty, as attested by the Middle Eastern-looking customers. We foreigners love a great bargain :) Cheap and delicious! read more

Looking everywhere for a store that carried tamarind paste so I searched Yelp. While on my way to another store, I glanced over and spied this place, so I stopped in. The aroma of exotic foods from the little cafe wafted out the front door, and as I entered, I saw what I'd been searching for right on the end cap. Big display. Intrigued, I browsed around and discovered other goodies I never knew existed. On taking my treasures to the checkout stand, the clerk asked me what I was making, and I said, "a curry recipe I've seen on TV". She said, "you can make curry without this stuff; it's mostly used for color. But, it's good for you and is good in other things too." Then she wrote a recipe for curry and some other wonderous dishes (the place wasn't crowded at the time) and we had a great time talking about all things food. What a terrific find! Most Asian groceries neglect India, so it's nice to have this place. There's lots of variety and we found nearly everything we were looking for (except asafoetida...wth?). There's not really anyone around to ask for help, so I wouldn't be in a hurry if you go! And watch out for some of the spices--a couple we looked at had 2011 expiration dates! :/ There is also a little cafe that looked pretty promising but it was freezing inside the store, so I'll have to wait for next time! read more
