We overnight in Las Cruces, NM, en route to Ft Worth, TX at least once a year, and discovered this great place for breakfast. The staff are wonderfully friendly, and the pastries are fabulous! Very easy to find, and very close to the freeway. Definitely worth a try. I promise it will humble the complementary breakfast where you stay, and is probably less than three minutes away from your hotel! read more

Visited opening day, so limited experience. Open for breeakfast, brunch, and lunch, will also do special orders. A bit pricy, eight dollars for a smallish bowl of soup. Good flavors, great pastries, as would be expected, clean, service a little nonchalant, but it WAS Day One. Planning a return trip and more complete review soon. Definitely great flavors! They care. I saw this cafe on yelp reviews decided to give it a try. I ordered 3 slices of cheesecake. One raspberry, turtle pecan chocolate and strawberry cheesecake. They have a pumpkin one also. Overall they tasted really good. It's about a little over 5 dollars a slice which is reasonably priced in my opinion. Might try some of their other menu items. Only downside is they close at 3 pm and not open on mondays which is usually my day off. Worth a try if you're looking for desserts made from scratch versus from a store. read more

This is a gem in Las Cruces. The best food I've had in this city in five years. Delicious food paired with pleasant atmosphere and great service. I had the mushroom crepes and the biscuit with gravy. The crepes were excellent, at the level of any of the best crepes I've ever had. The biscuit and gravy was incredible, definitely well above average. The chocolate cake out of this world, a cake that really stands out. They definitely know how to cook! It was my first time there and I was very impressed, it was beyond my expectations. We went to Indulgence Bakery & Café today for my Wife's birthday. As usual we were greeted at the door, treated like we were family, and the food/cheese cake was great. Few restaurants have both excellent service and the best food in town, but Indulgence makes it happen. I recommend Indulgence very highly and will be a customer for years!!! read more

The food and atmosphere are terrific here. I had the mushroom crepe dish last time I was there and think its one of the best things I've ever eaten. This time I had the baked mac and cheese. Its made with five different cheeses and is wonderful. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that it takes so long to get your food. The first time we went was mothers day so we expected it to be slower service as they were so busy. Today was not very busy and took almost an hour to get our food. It was delicious once we got it but two of the people in our group said they wouldn't go back because it was so slow. Perhaps its because it was a Saturday but that being said they should have extra kitchen staff on the weekend. There is plenty of wait staff and they are very attentive. I will continue to go there because the food is awesome. Just don't go if you need to be somewhere any time soon. read more

The first time I visited Indulgence I was sold. Their desserts are a true luxury and I order one every time I visit, their flavors and cakes change often enough that I'm tempted to visit every week. The staff is so wonderful and friendly. My grandmother is physically handicapped and her speech is limited to mostly "yes" or "no". Her speech can come off as rude or crass, but the staff is so sweet and patient with her. (Also, the restaurant is handicap accessible!) Everything is fresh and made in house. I try and order a new dish every time. I had the vegetarian biscuits and gravy (I'm not even vegetarian) and I loved the apple 'sausage' it is served with! Home fries are always super crispy and cooked through. Coffee is always fresh. The salads are amazing and the honey mustard is my favorite and usually paired with their cobb salad. When you go up to the pastry case, there is always friendly staff ready to answer any questions you may have about what is in each dessert. Needless to say, I ordered one of their cakes for my birthday. Relieved I don't live close to them, their food is too good. read more

Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 in Las Cruces before the chickens are up, I have to defend myself at the Dona Ana Magistrate Court for going 5 miles over the posted speed limit at 8:30 am. Well, I live in ABQ. I got up in the dark (3:30) set my cruise control to 75 and away I went. I was hungry, cold, sleepy and un-caffeinated and by 6:30 am I hit main street Las Cruces looking for a place to drink a good cup of Joe and maybe breakfast. Dennys was open as I passed by. I stopped just south of the Magistrate Court at Indulgence Bakery. After finding the review on Yelp, I was too early, it wasn't open until 7:00 so I sat in the parking lot for thirty minutes waiting and watching them get ready to open. I read the menu and a few reviews. As I studied the menu, my stomach began to growl with anticipation. Just like prom night. The door open and I was greeted immediately, I was the first customer there. Biscuits and gravy four pieces of Bacon, a side of Hatch Green chili, a Cubano Espresso with sugar cane and a lemon rind. Now you might get more of a truckers plate other places, but you want to save room for dessert. I truly wanted a dessert, cheese cake. But I stopped short of stuffing myself. If you want to really know I almost licked the plate clean. I waited in Judge Quintero court room and she dismissed my case on Giving Tuesday. I wanted to go back immediately to INDULGENCE BAKERY and get that cheese cake but I didn't. I will have to wait until the next trip to Texas. Great place, clean and pleasant. We decided to try it for lunch and had a great experience! We split "The Swiss Chick" and "Cranberry and Nut Salad" w/grilled chicken. The Swiss Chick was awesome! It was served on focaccia bread which I was nevous about since the only focaccia I've ever eaten was dense and dry...but this bread was so soft and fresh that I loved it! We loved the salad as well especially the homemade raspberry vinaigrette, but the chicken was a bit dry. I did find the sandwich was a bit pricey considering it didn't come with a side. However after rereading the menu at home, I realized it was supposed to come with a side salad or French fries...oh well, we'll try the fries next time. read more
