I can't say enough great things about the amazing experience we had with Window World!! We just…read morefinished replacing all 55 of the 30-year old aluminum windows in our home with the very high-quality Window World ones. They are beautiful!! Many of our windows face south. Our breakfast nook and kitchen were made almost unlivable by the amount of heat that our old windows let in. We have had many mid to high 90 degree days since our new windows were installed, and our breakfast nook and kitchen have become our favorite places to be, as our Window World windows keep all that heat out completely. Our entire house stays much cooler now. Braden, our salesperson, was extremely professional and not high pressure at all!! Unlike some sales people, he understands all technical details of the windows, and the process of installing them. He used to be a window installer himself, and it really shows. He took very, very accurate measurements, so all our 55 windows fit perfectly when they arrived. As he looked at every window for the estimate, he explained what would need to happen for each one, such as caulking, masonry, etc. The price for all 55 of our windows was 1/2 the price of the 3 other companies we got quotes from. The quality, and look, of the windows is fantastic! After the installation was complete, Braden came by and looked at each window. He tested them for ease of raising and lowering them, as well as tilting them in and out. We found about 12-15 that were too tight, and he sent a crew over the next day to take care of them. They did a tremendous job of making them absolutely correct. I can't say enough positive things about the crew either. They arrived exactly when they said they would each day. Wes was our foreman, and did a good job of communicating with us on the first day. Bruce was the foreman-on-site of our job (was there every day), and he did a SUPERB job! He answered all the myriad of questions we had in a very professional and friendly manner. It took a 4-5 man crew 3 1/2 days to install all 55 windows. Bruce was very easy to communicate with. All the men on the crew were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Each crew member was very proficient and knew exactly what to do. The men got along very well with each other. It was a very happy crew. In my opinion, a happy crew does a good job. They had large tarps which kept the construction mess away from our carpets and furniture. Even with the tarps, they thoroughly vacuumed all the carpets and wiped down our belongings at the end of each day. They were very respectful and careful with our belongings. We were very impressed that WW's installation inspector came by twice just to be sure that things were being done properly, and to our satisfaction. We are extremely pleased with every aspect of our experience with Window World. It could not have been any better.

Thank you Window World. Thus a long process ended happily and positively! We contacted no less…read morethan six window companies to replace 21 windows (the entire house). Window World Austin was BY FAR the most engaged, direct and customer focused. The salesman, Jose, came by for an initial and a follow-up call. Then he came out to measure - this was when his magic shined (as we found out later). He said "our installers are professional and customer service is priority." He offered me two options and gave us just enough info for us to make an informed decision. He said two months AND IT WAS EXACTLY. We got a call from customer rep, Kathy, who just continued the positive experience. Had to work around the holidays on timing and a couple logistic issues but it was not a problem for Kathy. ALWAYS RESPONSIVE. Now time for install. I was told "Bruce and his team (Anthony, Bairon, Juan & Jair) would arrive in a specified timeframe and be on site for two days. The arrived on-time and left the house as promised and clean as a whistle. Also Jose's measurements proved to be SPOT-ON as the windows fit perfectly and as promised. We followed the instructions given us and on arrival Bruce and the team went to work. The team did take over quickly and we admittedly were slow to vacate so their music and back-and-forth did cause us consternation. However, in all my years of home ownership and repairs and renovations I have never had a crew who was so focused on a good job and genuinely enjoyed the task at hand and their coworkers. Great job team! So now the weather is changing, we have 21 new windows, no drafts, clean lines, and clear windows. Thanks again Window World Austin.

We signed the contract and put a deposit for half the entire amount. After we signed the contract and put in our half deposit, we were informed that 2 of our windows are arched and Andersen 100 doesn't make arched windows. They said we could replace our front of the house windows with Andersen 400 or Simonton. Simonton is supposedly a less expensive window than Andersen's 100 series. But, they quoted us a higher price to replace the front windows with Simonton than we were quoted for the same windows in Andersen 100. We ended up ordering Simonton Windows with grids for our entire house. We had already paid ($15,000) from our original contract and we were locked in with JP Exteriors. On window installation day, we noticed that there was one window at the front of the house missing a horizontal grid. They let us know that they could get us a "great price" to replace the window that we had already paid for with the proper grid. They also left several small projects unfinished including painting the trim around 2 windows, filling interiors holes around 3 windows, fixing an interior window sill that was damaged during window installation. Ultimately, the window that was missing a horizontal grid was replaced at no additional cost to us and the remaining unfinished items were all competed in a satisfactory manner. However the replaced window that was missing a horizontal grid has now been replaced and the vertical grids on the top window are not lined up with the vertical grids on the bottom windows (See photos below.) It looks terrible and is at the front of our house. We wanted to love JP Exteriors based on their 5 star reviews, but unfortunately, we have had a 1 star experience. Update: They have said that they will fix the window so that the grids line up. If this happens, that will be good.

We contacted Austin Pro Siding as part of a comprehensive siding replacement project, as our…read morefiberboard siding was end-of-life and starting to really have problems that would have only gotten worse. Along the way, we also discovered that we needed to have the roof replaced, and so put that in the mix for a bid as well. We contacted six different companies, each of which brought a particular set of strengths and challenges. We chose Austin Pro based on a combination of factors: personalized attention to our project, comprehensive estimate and explanation of each line item, and ability to get the project done on a timeline that worked for us. We chose to have the house re-sided with Hardie Plank, painted with Sherwin-Williams paint, and re-shingled the roof with GAF shingles. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the process of basically re-doing the entire house, especially when insurance companies come into play. To that end, everyone at Austin Pro was first rate. Before we even settled on a contractor, Paul, our project manager, walked me through the intricacies of the process, and spent probably more time than he wanted explaining how things would go, and what options we had. The bid was competitive, and the line-by-line items on the original bid made it easy to see what was going to be done, and what materials were going to be used. He was patient and courteous and flexible, and was also able to speak to us in a way that didn't make things even more confusing. Kevin was the siding project lead, and though we never met in person, I felt comfortable that he had our best interests at heart as he got the crew on site, working fast and efficiently to remove and replace the siding. He even called in the middle of the siding job to tell us that we didn't need something we thought we would, saving us money that we could then use for add-ons we didn't originally budget for. The siding install and siding paint was done beyond our initial expectations, with nice touches like window framing and utility box framing that I didn't even know we needed but now look perfect. We had the back door repainted as well as our front balcony and pillars, and the end result is fantastic. It really was done to the point where it looks like a brand new house, and not one built in the early 1990s. Paul was back on site for the roofing job, and the roofers did a great job removing and replacing the shingles and skylight with new materials, on a roof that is exceptionally steep and challenging. They had the entire project done in only two days, and it looks fantastic. Finally, Garrett came by to do the final walk-through and punch list check-off, and was a real pleasure to interact with. He fulfilled all the items on the list, at least the ones he could do on his own, and did so in a friendly, courteous, and extremely efficient manner. All in all, Austin Pro lived up to their name and to their reputation. It is possible to find a company that can do your big jobs for less, but I am not sure you could find one that could do it better. They stand by their work with a quality assurance guarantee, and while I don't intend to need it, it's great that it's there.

Three stars only because the work was okay. One star because the process has flaws & issues!…read moreNeeded siding done on 2 parts. Was given different quotes for part vs all siding vs materials. Discount was given if signed that day. BEWARE! There was no time to shop around for a better rate. Was give a SUPER high interest rate. Was told noone needed to be home since the work was outside (see day "5") and they would clean up. After signing someone else reached out sayin the work would start 2 days earlier than it actually did. They also stated the dumpster would be dropped off. Day "1" - they canceled due to the weather (which was a bit fogging in the morning but turned out to be a nice, clear day). Day "2" - no dumpster, no work & no update. Day "3" - they started the work but no dumpster so guess where the trash went. On the front lawn..... not on tarp or trash bags either. WTH???? Asked the guy, he said he supposedly asked but it was either start the work or wait for the dumpster. Day "4" - Dumpster finally showed but no work was being done AND there was more trash in the pile which was still on the lawn..... Day "5" - found out they stopped work on day "4" because they tripped the power. Wondered why some things weren't working. Had a missed call but no voicemail day before. Man said he called but even if call was answered there was no way for anyone to get home to flip the switch. Which took time to figure out. Wasn't just the breaker but a CGFI (tried every 1 until we figured out which). That day (5) someone was home and they kept tripping it. Imagine trying to work and having to stop every so often because of that.... (what happened to "noone needs to home"???) Apparently they were using so many electric tools, poor house couldn't take it. Day "6" - trash was still adding up on the lawn. (Dumpster had been there for 2 days.....) Day "7" - trash was FINALLY "picked up" (leaving some behind). Work was completed. Fixtures were put back EXCEPT the gutters were trashed without even being asked along with a working fixture they assumed was broke. Was told the dumpster would be picked up the following day. Day "8" - man showed up unannounced to take pictures. Voiced problems, issues, concerns. He said he would submit a work order. 4 days after the work was completed, the dumpster was FINALLY picked up. After work was completed, doing lawn work, nails, wood pieces, and trash found everywhere. (They would clean up???) Would not recommend pets going out until EVERYTHING was picked up (with a strong magnet). To this day, issues still have not been resolved. They are too busy looking for the next customer. Was contacted by the Sales Rep months later because he wanted to start the process......Obviously he didn't make note that it was done. Would not recommend, especially if you have an HOA!! ___________________________________________ Pros - decent work completed in 5 days (would've probably been 4 had they not kept tripping the power). Cons - *BEWARE! Workers will throw your stuff away without asking. *SUPER high interest rate. *Unprofessional as far as trash everywhere. *Lies (or "miscommunications"). *Issues never addressed and never contacted again.

It still looks like crap and I'm still paying $10,000 for it. "Well, I can tell my boss John about how disappointed you are," was his initial comment to me. I told him that disappointed was an understatement and that I would never use or recommend his company to anyone who needs work done on their home. He agreed that it didn't look too good and that he'd put in his comments my complaint. You and I both know that it won't ever get fixed and will not go any further than his "notes"... Lesson learned. Do research, get bids, and be patient. Get it done correctly. The company got their money and that's all that mattered to them. Now, my blood pressure is up and I'm mad all over again. We were really busy during this project, but Alex made everything easy and didn't add any extra work to my plate. The installation was quick, on time, and went exactly as planned. He was even there during the install to make sure everything went smoothly and to keep me updated along the way. The gutters look great, the price was fair, and the whole process was stress-free.
