The notes we write about removing or adding items is NEVER executed correctly. Today we ordered a burger and got sliders instead, without any notification from the restaurant or adjustment in price. The service was horrible, we had to remind our waitress to bring our drinks after about 20 minutes. A friend recommended this place and since I love soul food I thought I would try it out. It took awhile to find parking but finally found a spot in the back. Although it was crowded, my four kids, my wife and I were seated promptly. Just a recommendation, Thursday 6-9 is karaoke and being in front of the speakers is probably too loud for kids. Food service is definitely not quick but we came for the food so hoped it'd be worth it. We had chicken n' waffles, catfish nuggets, fish sandwich, toasted cheese kid's meal, DC steak n' cheese, pulled pork sandwich, and cornbread. All was pretty good but the highlights were the fish nuggets and cornbread cooked perfect in small cast iron skillets. I recommend the place- just be aware that on our tab of 2 adults and 4 kids was automatically added a $10 tip. Our bill was $60 which was good since kids drank H2O. The prices are fair. I've been here twice now. It's a small divey-type place where dive bar meets grown and sexy, if that makes any sense. The first time I dropped by on a Saturday evening about 6pm with a good girlfriend of mine. Our intent was to grab some carryout for the husbands, but we sat at a small bar top table and ordered the pineapple infuse shots while we waited. The shot itself tastes like cheap vodka and peach schnapps, but they have tons of chunks of pineapple soaking in the pitcher and serve your shot with pineapple chunks it in. The real kicker is biting into the pineapple after drinking the shot. Woooooo! It burns so good! And for only about $5 per shot, it's a great way to get the party going! I've had a few things on the menu: the collard green spring rolls - good concept, just okay though. The chicken wingettes - the honey old bay are just okay. the jerk are not good. the plain fried are pretty good. The catfish nuggets - AMAZING! Mine could have stood to be fried a little harder though. Sauteed spinach - delicious The service - it's exactly as every other yelper stated: Awful! Very slow, and best of luck getting someone to even acknowledge you. Both times, we had to commandeer a bar table because no one ever addressed me(us) at the door. When I went that Saturday eve, they were hosting two parties in two parts of the dining area, which I didn't even see how that was possible as the place is small. One party was a wedding reception (yes, a ghetto wedding reception, but don't judge) and a 60th birthday party. Then when I went on a Friday night during happy hour, it hadn't even gotten crowded yet upon my arrival, but the owner himself had to serve me because of the poor service. This is a hidden gem. The interior of this restaurant is so modern yet chic and welcoming. I can't wait to come back and dine inside. However, my outside dining experience was excellent. I'm a regular here. The bartenders know me by name and what I drink. The service is good, not too much traffic for lunch but the bar gets pretty tight for happy hour. I have had the pleasure of enjoying the Infuse Experience on several occasions. I have been there on big game days; during the week; on weekends; and during breakfast. Each time, I ordered something different, and each time the food was great to top-off great dining experiences. During my second visit, the owner inquired as to why my food was half-eaten. I explained that my food didn't taste as I had expected (a spice didn't agree with me). The food was hot and well prepared, but I was looking for a different taste. Therefore, it was nothing wrong on the chef's part. To my surprise, our waitress returned with another menu so I could order something else, AND they removed my partially eaten entree from my bill...NOW THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We no longer live in this area, but we come back every few weeks. Each time we come, we plan to visit Infuse. The owners have made great changes to accommodate any possible type of diner, and they have become community supporters of various organizations and youth leagues. Horrible looking venue. Terrible service. Cold food. Dirty tables. First, we were told the kitchen was backed Up and they were not taking food orders for 45 minutes. Huh?! This is a restaurant, right?! Some in our party were running late so we stayed. We couldn't get menus because there weren't enough. It was presented on a greasy plate with no sauce or garnishments. The sweet potato fries looked like plantain; they were burnt and tasted horrible. The shrimp and grits- grits had no flavor and were cold, shrimp had flavor but cold, spinach was flavorful, but cold. My husband had a burger and you could tell it was a pre-made frozen patty. Went here last month and the food was ok nothing special. Kind of overpriced for the amount of food served. I got the green and turkey egg rolls. From the reviews I read it seemed to be good. So I went for it. They were good. Only complaint is that it was 2 egg rolls cut in half with a little bit of dipping sauce. I love my sauce and would have asked for more, but seeming it took the waitress 20 minutes just to acknowledge me and my daughter and then she had to come back with drinks, I just suffered. The waitress was not rude just slow seeming that she was the ONLY one on the floor, which I didn't understand. I ordered the salmon salad for dinner and the salmon was overcooked and dry. The salad was fresh and crisp just not enough for $20. My daughter ordered the ribs and said they were good. Once again not enough sauce and she had to ask for more which took forever to come out and by that time we were ready to go. Would I recommend this place. I visited this establishment for the first time last night because my cousin had made reservations to celebrate her 50th Birthday here. The reservation was at 7:00pm I arrived late because of work. Anyway I walked in and saw only one young lady which was the server. Once I reached the table the appetizers that were order over an hour an half ago still hadn't arrived but the drinks from the bar was there on the tables. I was pissed I was extremely hungry when I arrived anticipating a good meal. I asked why no one had ordered they said the server told them it's only one cook and uber eats orders were priority of patrons inside of the establishment. Once Uber eats was cut off from ordering they were told that they had to wait 20 minutes to order which turned into hours that's unacceptable which means no one ordered any food. How is this even possible? I felt bad for the server because the backlash wasn't her own and she had no control over the situation and not one manager came out to address the issue.
