One star for great customer service, one for a very clean facility, and honestly, the food deserves two stars all by itself! Pictures below--the food was YUMMY and seriously good. I don't remember exactly what they called the fries, but they were something like animal-style fries, and they were the bomb! The Brussels sprouts were AMAZING too. So good! I'll also mention something personal: there was a noticeable Islamic presence in the surrounding area, and because of my own concerns about Islamist extremism and terrorism especially with 9/11 drawing near. I initially felt a little nervous and out of my comfort zone. Nothing actually happened during our visit to justify that nervousness, though, and it wouldn't be fair to take a star away from CaliKid for something that had nothing to do with the restaurant. The food, service, and cleanliness were excellent, so I'm changing my original four stars to FIVE STARS! Great job, CaliKid!

Yesterday, my boyfriend went to the Fremont location to try the burgers because they have gluten free buns. We live a distance away, but because gluten free buns at a burger place is hard to find. We are both 75 years old and were having trouble making exceptions on their computerized ordering system. The young man running the place graciously took our order verbally. We ordered the Americano for me and the MexiCali for my friend and fries. The burgers were very high quality, with all the best trimmings, and the gluten free bun was perfect. Really, the counter guy was exceptional. He checked on everyone at the restaurant and made sure their burgers were right. As I was leaving with my leftover fries, even tho he was helping someone at the counter, he noticed me and gave me a to go box without me asking. Seriously, you want this guy to run your business. I must have waited at least 15 minutes at the cash register before anyone came to help me. Orders in the shelf were being filled, seem like grub hub or other online orders. Needless to say my order was already made and as I was waiting to be helped for 15 minutes was cold, food is greasy, tasteless and expensive, who cares if it's halal, tastes is bad and expensive. Went to the fremont location yesterday and ordered their chicken burger (can't remember the actual name for it) but it was amazing. So much flavor and was perfectly spiced up where you could taste the flavor in every bite, just the way i prefer. Order their falafel burger as well and 4 mini burgers and they were all great. Was driving and saw it on Yelp, it's same thing as Burger IM just a little change in the name. They have both restrooms shut but the outdoor sitting is open. Why would you close restrooms but keep outdoor sitting. Not very happy with the service. They were extremely greasy and tasted like they had been sitting in oil for far too long. We ended up throwing the entire order away because they were basically inedible. I've had consistently good experiences at other Super Duper locations, so this was especially disappointing. The San Ramon location needs to seriously improve its food preparation and quality control. I won't be returning to this location unless the food quality improves.
