Didn't actually get a tattoo hear but inquired about a design and the artist who assisted us was kind of bougie. When my girlfriend showed him the design he proceeded to tell her that her design wasn't symmetrical and that he didn't like it. It's not his tattoo to pick is it? I went in to get a replacement lip ring as mine (from anther shop) fell out. Thomas was unbelievably helpful. I've had my lip pierced 5 or 6 times (I have a habit of taking it out and forgetting to put it back in) and have never had someone so knowledgable and thorough. Most places if you just go to get a new piece you pay for it and that's it. Thomas put it in for me, answered my questions, and made sure to write down the measurements as I mentioned I can't ever seem to find the right size. Went in on Easter with NO idea what I wanted at all, Daniel Thomas Chambers listened to all my ideas, then helped me decide on a snake in the shape of an old-school medical symbol with a hidden "G" for my grandmother. I got my Tragus done on both sides today and Thomas did an A M A Z I N G job. I love it! At first I was nervous like always... As soon as I walked in, the lady was very nice&friendly and helped me pick out the jewelry. Overall, Thomas is very professional and clean. This tattoo/piercing shop is different (in a very good way) compared to others I've been to. Just make sure as you are picking out your jewelry and which piercing you are getting, you ASK for the price. Of course they want you to get the best type of jewelry for your new piercing to prevent any infection, but I feel like they forget to tell you how much it will be.. If you are on a budget, you should pick titanium or some other material that is cheaper $$. But I would have paid 200$ for my piercings just because I didn't know how much it cost. Come prepared to pay a decent amount of money. I recommend ink monkey for first timers or anyone that is looking for a friendly/sanitary place. read more

I got my lip pierced about 4-5 weeks ago from Derek at Ink Monkey. The experience was ok, he was nice but unfortunately my piercing is crooked :( When he marked me with the pen I took a look I said it appeared to be too low. He said he doesn't like to do it too high because it will hit my teeth. Well now the outside of the piercing is low and the inside of the piercing is high and hits my teeth. I mean that part doesn't bug me, but the piercing being crooked really does. So I went it and showed him...he said "yah, it looks a bit crooked". And umm..well that is that I guess. I mean, I'm not going to let it heal and then pierce it again to create more scar tissue. So, I will just have to live with a semi crooked piercing. My advise...emphasize that you DO NOT want it crooked. Obviously they know that but stress it to them. Thanks! read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A PIERCING! i always passed this shop on my way to school so i decided to give it a shot. I walked in and decided to get two industrial piercing. I forgot the piercers name but he was friendly so i decided to get the piercings then and there. He took me to the back room and he started to sterilize the needles. He then started talking about all the piercings he had, and he was very specific about him having his penis pierced...i felt very uncomfortable...right when he was about to pierce my ear he dropped the needle on the floor and he had the nerve to try to still use it on me! i told him if he could please get a different needle which he did but with some attitude. he pierced one ear with no problem but when he got to my other ear he had some difficulty and made the experience extremely painful! I paid him and left....during the healing process i noticed that my industrial on my right ear wasnt properly placed. the piercer did the whole too close to the edge of my ear so eventually it fell off! that was a bummer....then i noticed my left ear was starting to grow a small keloid! in the end i ended up not having any industrials since none of them were made right! i paid 180 for nothing, now i have an ugly little keloid to remind me of that stupid shop. I know it wasnt my body that was rejecting the jewelry because i ended up getting an industrial again at YER CHEATN HEART tattoo and it ended up healing perfectly well! Word of advice- NEVER GO INTO THIS SHOP FOR A PIERCING! read more

My girlfriend and I have both gone to get tattoos by Ramon. Solid dude, solid work, solid shop! Ramon made us feel really comfortable and at home. tattoos healed great. Ive gone back 3 times! Most times I ever went back to a shop. I see on here that some of the old reviews arent good. I dont know why. Maybe owner change, or artist have changed. But since ive gone i dont wanna go anywhere else. Everyone in there is really nice, and they all seem to check up on each other and give each other tips and advice. My daughter wanted her second tattoo. She searched for a local place with great reviews. Then she went in and looked at the portfolios of all artist. All good. She scheduled an Appointment with Mikey. My youngest son (almost 19) also wanted a simple statement tattoo. He scheduled with Mikey as well. Twin sister ( daughters) had been debating on a tattoo, also one she had thought of for awhile, which if done would need to be "spot on". First daughter had what she wanted in mind, but allowed Mikey to be creative as well. Her Tattoo came out even better than she imagined. Next, my son, who also had knew what he wanted, but needed Mikey to fine tune some details. It came out perfect. Lastly, the twin who only wanted it done if it could be exactly the way she pictured it. Amazingly, Mikey created the exact picture on her arm, to the finest detail and color.
