We were first-timers and very slow to figure out what to order, and for some reason Eric R. was eating with his eyes and not thinking too rationally so we ordered extra sides. (Okay, perhaps he really just wanted me to be happy and get the sides that I wanted but then get what he wanted on top of that). We ordered a combo that came with a half chicken, two sides, tortillas, and sauce. My side choices were yucca and plantains. Eric R. then got two additional side cups but got "half and half" in them like we were at a gelato place: corn and green beans in one, black beans and cilantro rice in the other. Therefore, we ended up trying six sides. He also got more tortillas. What was most impressive to me is the flavor of the chicken. It was very tasty, juicy, moist, and the skin was crispy. We made interesting tacos with the sides, chicken, and sauces in our warm tortillas. We ended up taking some of the sides home. This quietly tucked away restaurant boasts big flavor. While driving by smelled smoked chicken and thought up stop. Ordered 1/4 white w mashed potatoes, fire roasted corn and plantains. Everything was fresh. Chicken juice and moist. Very well seasoned with a citrus flavor. Unique! Mashed potatoes where real potatoes and plantains were perfectly cooked! While the corn was fresh, felt it was too burnt. Had a charred flavor. Only negatives. While new customers receive a free ice cream cone (FYI..access coupon through Yelp, the ice cream was disgusting. It had an "old" flavor, if that's possible. And lastly the restaurant itself appeared old, needing a much needed "refreshed" look. We have always done the drive thru from here. However, we wanted to dine in for the first time. Let me tell you it was not so pleasant. The tables were all sticky not cleaned or if they were not very well. The chairs were not cleaned as well. The environment was not up to my cleanliness standards. So for dine in I give it like a 2 stars. As for the food, we ordered a family meal. It comes with sides and chicken. Love the chicken. Always moist and full of flavor. The sides complimented the main protein. All of the sauces is a must. This time we also ordered what the server recommended which was the Chaufarroncito. It was like their version of fried rice topped with this tender pork strip. So for food I would give it a 4 stars. I'm rating a 3 bc of the dine in experience. It really just the lack of cleanliness that bothered me. We had to really do a deep clean with our own wipes just so we could sit down. Be prepared for that if you're going to dine in. As a Peruvian I was extremely disappointed by today's visit. I ordered a 1/4 chicken that was incredibly dry and had zero flavor. The sauces available were just like mayo and the other just spicy but no flavor. The chicken aquadito soup had bay leaves and bones in them and was spicy but did have good flavor. The lomo saltado did not have any smoky flavor or the flavors you would expect from a traditional lomo saltado. The chicha drink didn't have the spice flavors at all it tasted like it was made of powder and sugar. Idk how this has so many good reviews it was pretty awful. I recommend going to Brasas Peruvian restaurant not far from here. We went yesterday and it was far more authentic and flavorful than here. read more

Pretty tasty lunch spot that's wallet friendly! I got a quarter chicken, plaintains and corn and my sister got the same with beans+rice and yucca fries. The meal also came with a choice of a roll or corn tortillas. The rotisserie chicken was all dark meat so it was pretty tender. All the sides were tasty and my favorite were the plaintains. The portions were generous and the meal came with your choice of mild, medium or spicy sauce which you can dip the chicken or your sides in. Delicious Peruvian cuisine (but no ceviche). I highly suggest stopping by here. I dined in and ordered Yuca fries and rococo sauce, the fettuccine with huancaina sauce (with vegetables instead of meat), and a tamarindo agua Fresca. I love me some Pollo Rico/Regio, and wanted to give Inca a try. I knew it wasn't quite the same going in, and I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, try the plantain fries. They rocked my world. I practically fought my husband for the last one. I love how they offered me a sample cup of their sides (which is what lead me to the yucca fries :D). It was neat to try bites of about half of their offerings. Their beans and rice are pretty solid as well. The sauces are definitely a little different than I expected, but still quite tasty (the hot is not really that hot though...). The chicken was pretty darn great. This place never disappoints. I come here whenever I need to satisfy my Peruvian chicken cravings. The chicken is delicious charred. The meat is moist and pairs very well with any of the sides offered. I especially love their Yuca fries and sweet plantains. Their sauces really complement the dish. I like spicy so I get their green spicy sauce, but I also like to dip my Yuca fries in their regular sauce. I've been coming here since 2014 and I did notice that they have become very stingy with their sauces. They used to give them in bigger containers but now they come much smaller, and if you ask for extra, they charge extra $ which is disappointing. Nonetheless, still very delicious. Wow. Never heard of this place but after a friendly get together, we decided to swing by here on the way back to Dallas. One of my friends works down the street from here and said it was good so decided to give it a try. Overwhelmed is the first word that came to mind when I bit into my quarter chicken. The meat is extremely tender, succulent, moist, juicy; it's been a long time since I've had proper chicken. The spices work great with the meat and provide flavor bombs with each bite. To further accentuate the taste are two sauces: a green spicy sauce that hits you up front but really takes the chicken to another level and a milder, sweeter sauce for those who like it that way. Either way you can't go wrong. You can grab some corn tortillas if you like to wrap the chicken and while they're warm and help make eating it easier, I think you can do without it. As for the sides, they let you sample everything before you pick so you know what you're getting ahead of time. If you could only pick one though, I recommend the yucca fries: starchier than its potato steak fry cousin, but it absorbs the ketchup well, is ultra crisp while puffy and tender within and is the perfect mobile to try some of that green sauce. A close second is the fried plantains, which are not as sweet as I'm used too, but well caramelized. Mashed potatoes and mac and cheese are good too, but it's the yucca fries and plantains that steal this show. You also get a free ice cream cone if you check in on yelp. This place also had some of the best service I've been to in a long time too. The guys at the counter are quick in carving up chicken, offering suggestions, being friendly in general. Heck, if you get the ice cream cone, they hand deliver it to the table. The owner/manager also comes by and checks up on each patron individually to see how their meal is. I sometimes don't even get that attention when I'm at a $$$ place. It feels strange to find this as almost fast foodish feel when the food is clearly clearly much better than that.
