Friendly people, great flavors and reasonable prices. Since we went there for the first time, we were offered a sample of the four main sides. I got the 1/4th Just Chicken and my husband had the 1/4th Chicken Combo 2 with Yucan fries and Plantains and a drink. The Yucan Fries were delicious. I am not a fan of sweet plantains, but my husband liked them. The flavors of the chicken were beautifully balanced and the meat was moist and succulent. Although we did not take the black beans and rice side, it was good too. There is not a lot of variety in terms of choice as they have only one kind of chicken, only different portions, But what they have is very good and it is so different from the usual fried chicken or BBQ meat. The two sauces were great, especially the spicy sauce is fresh and goes well with the food. I am glad I found this place and will definitely go again. Ive eaten the "real deal" in Peru and in Bolivia and this place is as good if not better! The chicken was succulent and seasoned in tru fusion style. The green sauce is unique and has a spice profile not found anywhere else in Austin. The service was friendly, courteous and prompt. I think I've been here 4 times now and each visit has had excellent food and service. The Pollo a la Brasa is better than the one time I had it in Lima. It is greasy, but that's chicken! I would normally never touch such a thing, but their yucca fries are delicious (especially with their salsas). Hands down my favorite place to eat. I ate there today for they millionth time and it is always consistently AMAZING!! The chicken is so flavorful (even my son eats it! Which is a miracle to get him to eat meat!((21 months old & is a very picky eater!!)) The yuka fries are so amazing. If u haven't had them they are like a huge French fry but the inside is more of a creamier & smoother texture than potatoes. I LOVE the rice and beans, I get extra chives on them. Now the salsas are just to die for. They are so unique. The spicy one is perfect on the chicken. I dip my yuka fries in the light green one & it is magically delicious. The staff is ALWAYS so friendly. When you order they give you the most respect and undivided attention. Also they constantly walk around the tables making sure every customer is well taken care of. My wife and I have been going here since they opened and we loved it because the food was good, the portions were fair, and it was convenient given the fast food nature of it. I initially gave it five stars. Unfortunately we can no longer justify spending $25 for sides. Pretty soon after they opened they made their large sizes smaller and the price has gone up on everything. They also changed their mac and cheese recipe using different shells and diluting the cheese making it very watery. They seem to leave out an item each time we go and I have to either consistently check my order or go back if they've forgotten something. read more

I've driven by and smelled the fantastic aromas coming from Inka Chicken pretty much since they opened, but haven't stopped until today. I must say I was completely impressed first off by the wonderful service. My son and I were asked first off if this was our first time visiting, then offered sample cups, which included the rice and beans (I swooned), the yucca fries (fantastic!), and the plantain chips (delightful!). Of course, being with a 7 year old meant steak fries and mashed potatoes (still delicious), instead of one of the other, more "exotic" sides. We will have at least one of them the next time. The chicken? What can I say about the chicken and the sauces. They taste as good as they smell. We will definitely be back again. read more
