Hidden Peruvian spot perfect for people who work nearby in Irvine - it's kind of pricey but the food comes in large portions and is so flavorful. So far the lomo saltado, chicken picante and alfajores cookies are my favorites. Having visited multiple times, service has been consistently good! There's a large lot shared with neighboring offices and both indoor, outdoor patio seating (with shade under a large tree).

Best hidden gem. Food always great, never a wait. Plus the staff and owner super friendly. Have been coming here for 18 years. Oh and best Peruvian cookies anywhere.

Second time coming here and it's incredible. If you know what Peruvian food supposed to taste like, it's this. Service is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back :)

I've been to Inkas many times before, but it had been a while since my last visit. I decided to treat myself to a solo dinner here last weekend, and it was phenomenal, even better than I remembered. I was greeted right away and seated quickly, which made for a great start. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, with a bright and colorful space and both indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to sit inside and really enjoyed the ambiance. For food, I ordered a variety of empanadas: steak and mushroom, chicken, and a steak empanada served with amarillo dressing. The steak and mushroom was my personal favorite, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I also had the huancaína potatoes, which were absolutely delicious, and paired everything with a chicha morada that was incredibly refreshing and tasty. Before heading out, I grabbed some alfajores cookies, and they were so good. Even though it's about a 15-20 minute drive for me, it's completely worth it. I will definitely be back again soon.

Stopped in for a quick drink. Enjoyed their red sangria outside on the patio. The sangria was tasty and refreshing! They have all day happy hour specials. Already had lunch but when I went in to pay everything smelled soo good! Have to go back again for lunch next time.

Came for a corporate lunch, it was good. Plenty of seating, can get rushed and busy fast. Service was great and staff was nice. Food is peruvian so def unique and different

Inkas was such a delightful place to dine! My friends and I ate here on a warm sunny weekday afternoon, and the outdoor ambiance was just perfect for catching up over some delicious food and drinks. The service was very friendly and the food came out in a very reasonable time. Now onto the good stuff: Ceviche: 5/5. The ceviche was outstanding! So flavorful and had the perfect amount of acidity. It was a great appetizer and very shareable for 3 people. Highly recommend. Chicken picante: 4/5. Picante is my favorite Peruvian dish of all time. While Inka's rendition was not my favorite version of this dish that I've tried, jt did not disappoint. It had great flavor and the chicken was not dry at all. I'd likely order something different next time, but this wasn't still delicious. I will definitely be returning to Inkas the next time I am craving Peruvian food or want a nice outdoor spot to dine at. I'd definitely love to come here with my dogs! Do yourself a favor and try Inkas out!

Came back for the great service I received last time & food. Love the night time ambiance outside. Jesse was my server tonight, he was awesome! I recommend trying the paella. 10/10 love this place

Inkas is a cute restaurant tucked in an office park, with indoor and outdoor seating. They specialize in Peruvian food and will give you bread and aji, the slightly spicy green sauce . We started with some fish ceviche that came with yam, potato and cancha, Peruvian corn nuts. I got the Peruvian paella, which had plenty of perfectly cooked seafood - even the calamari was tender! My husband got the seafood picante stew spicy, but it wasn't very spicy (and I'm a spice wimp). Service was very attentive. Recommend sitting outdoors, weather permitting. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Roger and the owner are so amazing. I live kind of far from here but every time we come in they are so welcoming and the food is amazing. Vibes are immaculate as well.

Had lunch with a group of 4. We sat outdoors and enjoyed a fairly quick lunch. We were served drinks and bread to dip in the wonderful green sauce. Ordered the Lomo Saltado and it was delicious. Fries could have been a bit crispier, but soaked in the beef broth and topped with the green sauce it was amazing. Service was consistent for what you would expect on a busy lunch period, drinks were kept full and the staff was friendly. Definitely look forward to coming back and trying a couple of other dishes.

We took advantage of the Friends and Family menu they provide on Mondays Only from 5:00 to closing. We sat at the beautiful bar and were watched over by Jacob. The wife had some special non-alcoholic drink that was very pretty and tasted great. I went with the VACA Tonic, an icy concoction made with gin. It was super refreshing and a nice way to start. This menu has selected tapas items that range in price from $8 to $19. We ordered the Pan Con Tomate ($8) which comes with sliced toasted bread slices, tomato pulp, a delicious olive oil and a side of sea salt. You take a piece of toast, squirt some of the olive oil on top, then pour on the tomato pulp. Light, tasty and delicious. Next up, the Patatas Bravas ($9). Perfectly roasted spicy potato cubes, slathered with tomato sauce and a garlic aioli. WOW! So simple yet so good. I licked the plate clean. Next up, the Bikini Sandwich ($9). Two small perfectly toasted cheesy sandwich wedges that have Iberico ham, manchego cheese and a hint of truffles. It was really delicious and the special ham was the star of the show. These are great starting items, yet surprisingly filling. I couldn't stop there though and wanted to order some of their famous paella. I decided on the Paella De Carne ($53). This is a meat paella with pork belly, chorizo, blood sausage, duck confit (a leg & thigh), beef cheek, with bomba rice and a garlic aioli. You have to wait about 20 minutes for them to make it but it's worth the wait. It was perfectly cooked and awash in flavor. The special paella pan they prepare the dish in looked well seasoned and I wished I could have taken it home. The menu is extensive with lots of choices to accommodate any palate. The restaurant is beautiful and has a front and back patio seating. If you have a choice, sit on the back patio. There is valet parking for $12, but there is a parking structure right across the street that provides easy access and is free with validation.

It's the kind of place where you can settle in and enjoy a leisurely meal. We started with the roasted bone marrow, which was pure indulgence. I spread that rich, nutty, buttery goodness over the crispy toast points, and every bite was better than the last. Next came the prawns. It was well balanced and the best dish of the night. The scrambled egg agnolotti was delicious as well and was paired with a savory slightly sour sauce what helped with the heaviness. The bad: We were recommended the house made focaccia to dip into the steak sauce but it was served 15 minutes before the steak came out so was cold by the time we needed it. The biggest disappointment of the night was the $29 tuna crudo. We should have taken the description by face value: tuna, tomato water, vanilla nori oil (we thought this might be the flavor but we were wrong. It was just oil), passion fruit. It quite literally tasted like oily tuna in plain water with passion fruit seeds floating around. The passion fruit overwhelmed the flavor profile. There was so little tuna for the steep price (like 3 sashimi pieces chopped up). It wasn't even a high quality cut. Even if it wasn't, the flavor of the tuna was somehow completed sapped - leaving just the texture. The overall pricing for the menu was very steep with small portion sizes but at least the other plates we had actually tasted good. We also appreciated the complimentary dessert that was given for my fiancés bday. The service was great as well. The upstairs host Kori was amazing. She was bubbly, kind and super helpful. Now to our waitress, there was a bit to be desired there. My wife felt like with each thing she asked for she was bothering her. ( I will omit her name out of kindness, she may have been dealing with something personal and having a bad day. ) Now to the food. The Drinks, my wife's Paloma was delicious. I had a Makers 46 neat. Very basic whiskey selections but it was good. Our appetizer, the Artichoke dip came out to us tepid after 20 minutes of waiting for it and the chips borderline stale. I had the Bo Burger, the pork belly and aioli carried it. Fries were ok. My wife had chicken milanese it was fantastic, she just had to request extra sauce. Coke Zeros were flat, we sent them back. So my wife had a Proseco and she enjoyed that. Upon putting in the reservation I stated it was my wife's birthday, Kori even asked we told her and I'm pretty sure it was relayed to the serve who said nothing and didn't inquire whether we wanted dessert or offer anything. My wife asked for a box, she put the box on the table and walked away. We had to ask a busser for a bag and a cup for her sauce. He was very sweet, he filled our waters and asked if we needed anything else. The restaurant charges a 5% fee for the team, you can decline it. We didn't. I even still gave the server a respectable tip. Sadly she could have received twice as much because I used to serve when I was much younger. My wife is a Dorector in the Hospitality industry and she loves giving extra. I understand the struggle but if she was as charismatic as Kori she could make more and really add to the restaurant. I haven't been here in ages but out of all the things I wanted from here... it was their butter…read morecake lol best butter cake I have ever had and the star of the show for me! Perfectly sweet and served with dulce de leche, strawberry syrup with fresh strawberries and vanilla ice cream.. they all go well with the butter cake. Of course that was for dessert.. but to start for lunch, I ordered the house taco selection which comes with 4 tacos (Korean, steak, birria, and cueva tacos). I loved the cheese crusted tortilla on their tacos, and the cueva taco was my fave out of the four! The steak was dry so it was my least fave but the Korean and birria taco were also yummy! Nice way to sample their different tacos! Their guava agua Fresca was a refreshing drink to go with my tacos. My friend ordered their cheese enchiladas in their cream red sauce. She said it was different from any red sauce she has ever had but she said she enjoyed her enchiladas. Service was attentive and friendly. Each server checked in on us regularly. Came here on a Saturday for lunch and it was surprisingly not busy at all like how it used to be. Overall, the food was just like I remembered and I wish I had come back sooner. I'll def be back again to try other things on their menu!
