Everything was cooked perfectly and soo delicious. The jerk chicken was tender and the sauce it comes with is almost like a chimmichuri, it's herbaceous, garlicky, and the whole thing is addictive. Jerk chicken can be a hit or miss in the Bay Area but it is absolutely a hit. We also loved the rice side, it has a slight coconut flavor that goes great with everything. Next is the braised oxtails. I was hesitant about this dish bc I'm not a huge braised meat fan in general but omg. The flavor and texture of the meat was fantastic, it was tender, and the meat itself had a wonderful flavor, particularly paired with their spices. You cannot miss this. Lastly, the corn festivals are amazing. They are slightly sweet, and crispy on the outside but also very fluffy inside so they don't feel rich, different than I expected. Maybe I was disappointed because it didn't hit the way the hype made it sound like it would. Maybe I have unreasonably high expectations. I'm not sure. I have never eaten at the restaurant.
