Whenever I go in, the service is always quick, and the staff are consistently patient and friendly. I also love that they're open late for a midnight sweet treat. The cookies are always soft, warm, and never miss. It can get a little crowded inside, but I really enjoy their outdoor patio seating.

These cookies are good, but not amazing. The blondie just tasted like a really thick cookie. The girl made it seem like it was going to be gooey like a brownie, but it was kind of dry and hard. The s'mores was too chocolatey for me. The triple chocolate cookie was standard. And the salted caramel was my favorite. It was gooey and chewy which I really liked about it. They were all really sweet. We got coffee from next door and that helped balance the sweetness. Overall this is my third time trying cookies from here, but the first time fresh. I wouldn't go out of my way to order them lol but if someone brought me a salted caramel one I would still eat it. I think I like the confetti one too, but I didn't have it fresh.

I was craving warm delicious cookies and ordered online and had them delivered. I went with the Deluxe 4-pk and to my surprise it came with 3 classic cookies for free. Fyi, I'm not sure how long that deal will last on door dash. As for my deluxe choices, I went with the confetti, s'mores, a peanut butter & Jelly, and a chocolate chunk brookie. As for my 3 classic cookies, I went with white chocolate macadamia, double chocolate chunk, and a vegan birthday cake. However, apparently they ran out of the vegan birthday cake and instead of reaching out, they took it upon themselves to replace it with something I got already--the peanut butter and jelly. I really appreciate they did that, but kind of wished they picked any other flavor but that one. I thought it would be a fav but it ended up being my least fav. I think it'd be better with strawberry jelly instead of grape. All the rest of my cookies were super yummy as I've had all those flavors before. My favorite is the confetti and brookie. Oh and my cookies did arrive warm and at the time that was estimated! Yes, I agree these cookies can be pricey but every once in a while it's deserved!

Fresh hot cookies late how can you go wrong! We ordered a variety of cookies and was pleasantly surprised by them all! It did take about 10 minutes to get out cookies but think it was worth the wait.

Enjoyed this place very much. Service was great, dessert was great even the ice cream was amazing only thing I thought was a bit to much was the price tag that came with this package in my picture to me it was a little steep. All in all a great place for dessert and they also do have an outside eating area to eat if you have a party of two or more or even if it's just yourself. I did however like that they do offer an option to make a cookie ice cream sandwich if you wanted that.

Sometimes you just crave a warm cookie, but you definitely don't want the hassle of baking and cleaning. Insomnia is the place to be! I'm visiting Reno with my friend and we had to go to UNR. I wanted to get a quick dozen cookies. My friend is vegan so I wanted to find a place that was able to cater both of our sweet cravings. Conveniently located right across the street, this place had a nice selection of cookies. You can get a standard size cookie or the mini options. For the minis, they only come in chocolate chip. They also serve ice cream too, but I've never tried it. I think the cookies are more on the sweeter sugary side, but it could be just me. I would note the parking is a little difficult to find, but it's not impossible. Something I thought was strange is that they don't take cash to pay, but they have a tip jar/box. Back to the important stuff ... cookies. Is it the BEST cookies I ever had? No, definitely not. For the price and convenience, it got the job done. Let's face it, who doesn't love a warm fresh cookie, whether it is at lunch or 1 AM. I would definitely recommend visiting an Insomnia near you.

The greatest idea ever and it's open late! I love baking cookies but sometimes you just want a fresh baked cookie without the efforts of the prepping, mixing, baking and cleaning. As a mom of 2 boys, I do enough of that as it is so mama can use a break every now & then. And sometimes when those cravings come at night, this is a place to go. Hubby & I went here last night before we headed home. I ordered a box of 6 cookies: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, white chocolate macadamia, peanut butter, sugar cookie and m&m. The cookies come freshly baked, warm in the box and every cookie is soft and chewy. The peanut butter cookie was my favorite. It reminded me of my childhood when my dad used to bring me a giant peanut butter cookie from work almost every week. It was a special treat for me growing up and it took me back to that moment. Staff was very friendly! She was helpful and gave me options and helped me ever so patiently. Can't wait to come back!

I ordered through the Yelp app. It was very quick and easy. I needed it delivered to work and I was able to put in a note to tell them where to go which is helpful. The cookies were delivered warm. It arrived earlier than expected (30 minutes). However, once the cookies were cooled down, they were stuck to one another. I think it would be helpful to separate the cookies a bit if the box is big enough (this box was big enough). Otherwise, the cookies were delicious. I ordered 1-2 of every flavor. There are a lot of flavors to choose from and they all sound good. The cookies were still soft even after they were cooked down. Not hard at all! One of my favorite cookies places in town!

This place is horrible takes them an hour and a half to deliver 4 cookies 8 minutes away from their location... then the driver won't call you so you have to wait on hold on their service line for them to re deliver your cookies because they couldn't find your apartment the first time :) read more

The cookies made by Insomnia are delicious! I'm a huge cookie connoisseur and the cookies from Insomnia definitely meet all my standards. The ice cream from there is also quite delicious. I feel as that the prices could be a little more affordable though. But there's nothing better than a delicious warm cookie with ice cream at 1 am after a long night! read more

Mediocre cookies. Nothing to get excited about. But a neat concept next to the university dorms. Hours posted on their window and online are incorrect. Even the big "open" sign illuminated is wrong. Locked doors at 10 am and no signs of delicious baking going on (Open at 9 am). read more

Leaving a review because the cookies were delicious! I think once this company gets everything dialed in correctly it will be a huge success but tonight was pretty bad. The delivery ETA was way off and I'm talking 1 hour past the ETA, I was notified that my order was delivered but it was not and finally the driver was given the wrong address. Again, this is a super awesome idea just needs to be streamlined better. read more

This is my go to spot for late night cookies. It's close to UNR but the customer service is always amazing so it's never crowded inside. My personal fav is the chocolate mint cookie, they're soft, warm & fresh. Employee named Kyle is the nicest person there, he's super patient and helped me decided on what to get when i was being indecisive. They are a little on the expensive side but yummy cookies :) read more

Absolute worst customer service i've ever had. A larger blonde girl reluctantly greeted my friend and I after standing in front of her for about a minute. My friend asked if she could have a ice cream cookie sandwich but instead of having the ice cream in between the cookies to have it in a cup since she was worried she'd make a mess and the woman said "... I guess..". If it wasn't okay just say so? She then gives my friend her food and as she's ringing her up she takes her entire hand and rubs it all over her nose, not once, but twice. I look at my friend i'm in disgusted agony. Lucky there was another girl that came up and put my cookies in a bag for her, but if she ended up washing her hands afterwards - i'm unaware. Its only 11:30, she's still got 3 1/2 hours to go and if she intends on treating every customer the same as us then she needs an attitude check. The only reason I gave a 2 and not 1 star is because the cookies were good but ignorance is bliss on how clean the cookies are if she's rubbing her hands all over her face. Very disappointed for my first time here with all the hype read more

Bad service. First they tried to lure me out of the building for my food and then it never got delivered. The people I talked to on the phone were mostly rude and quite abrasive. Would not recommend for delivery services. read more

I guess where do I start I'll start with the location small unique place great for locals (college adults) the place was packed with inpatient young adults kinda was discouraging but we stayed around quick 10 minutes the one chick will get to you. There was nothing exciting about the place quite clean yet the smell of cookies! yumm. Well I cant say I'll go back not for me the brownie was old is it was chalky color and not even soft even after she through it in the oven I was saddened served with the smallest mini scoop of ice cream thrown on the flexiest mini paper Plate. Server didn't smile she didn't seen happy didn't ask if here or to go. Kinda was just disappointed over all. I'd love a place like this with a little more love, it will go along way. We came in a family of four excited I wasn't intrested in spending 30$ for the experience or ambiance for a place that stays open til 3am. WASTE OF MONEY! Ordered both in store and for delivery, and my experience wasn't the greatest. In store, I ordered the six-pack to get a sample of the cookies offered. The cookies were warm, not hot. And many were quite crunchy. For my delivery order, it took a full hour from the time I placed my order to the time the cookies were in my hands, again some were warm but others were room temperature. At this point in time, I feel like the price I'm paying (almost $2 per cookie) warrants better quality than I recieved. I know the business just opened, so hopefully the experience gets better. I plan on giving Insomnia Cookies another chance and hope it will be a more positive experience. read more

I have a love hate relationship with this place The first time we went it was closed even though it was supposed to have been open for an hour and a half. The second time we picked up and it was great. This time we ordered for delivery at a specific time. It was 30 minutes early which could've been okay but the cookies looked like they had been put in the box and used as a frisbee- icing everywhere. Very disappointed read more

But the cookies themselves aren't to die for and honestly a little over priced I think. Also the milk, very expensive. Recommend trying them out but not my favorite shop in town. read more

We ordered the Dust Storm: a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits, topped with a giant blondie skewered dramatically on top, plus whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle. The rim of the jar was coated in marshmallow dip and graham cracker crumbs because apparently subtlety has left the chat. Honestly, the presentation was on point and exactly the kind of milkshake kids dream about. Which is why we ordered it. My tween declared it "the best milkshake I've ever seen in my life," and honestly, that alone made it worth the stop on our mother-daughter trip. Taste-wise, it leaned very sweet for me and didn't have a ton of flavor depth beyond sugar overload. But clearly the goal here is maximal fun and aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed that. It's basically a photo op you can drink. The shop itself was surprisingly quiet when we visited in the evening--we had the whole place to ourselves--but there were games to play while waiting for our order (we pulled out Pick Up Sticks, which transported me straight back to my 90s childhood living room). The ladies at the counter were also incredibly kind and patient explaining the menu and flavors to us. If you're looking for an over-the-top dessert experience your kids will talk about for days, this is your place.
