I got the banana matcha latte. It looks like they have a choice of regular, almond or oat milk but for the banana matcha latte it's banana milk only. My order was pretty much ready by the time I walked in. They have 2 kiosks to order from. Nice seating area inside for those who like a 3rd space to do some work or just hang out. The cups are unique and the staff is friendly. There's plenty of parking around. The reason I gave 4/5 stars is simply because I didn't love my drink. It has a very aesthetic interior with decent seating. The ladies at the counter were very sweet and friendly, and had great suggestions on what to choose. Since it was later in the evening, I decided to go with the Thai Tea Tiramisu, versus trying one of their Vietnamese coffees. Was randomly in the area in the morning after a hike and wanted to avoid traffic a bit going back north, so I looked for a boba place in the area and found Insomnibar. It's got a pretty cool, modern yet organic vibe, though seating is fairly limited and the cafe itself is rather small. I got a large Thai tea with boba to treat myself, as I am almost never at a boba place early enough in the day for the caffeine not to affect me. They got my order wrong at first and gave me a small, though with prices and shrinkflation nowadays I'd never know if that's just what a large is. They corrected their mistake immediately when I asked about it, though. The tea itself was very tasty, sweet but not overly so, and the boba quality was decent. If I ever found myself down in the Silver Creek area again I'd come back and try some of their other interesting-looking flavors. Great place all around for boba and for studying. I saw this place recently opened up in San Jose on TikTok and had to check it out. They have a great selection of drinks from coffee to matcha to banana milk, and it all looks really good and perfectly curated! I really like the inside of the shop as well. I miss seeing the black and gold aesthetic in coffee shops and this one did it so beautifully. I walked in wasn't greeted by the cashier so I opted for using the tablet to place my order. I browsed around for a paper menu or a wall menu but found none. There is a QR code for the menu you can scan. While reading the description of drinks another person greeted me and let me know if I had questions to ask her. Initially I wanted to try the matcha but opted for the Insomnia Latte. Not sure how loud and how busy the place gets throughout the day but when I came if you snagged one of the tables you could work in here comfortably. My drink didn't take too long to come out and the phin coffee is strong. One girl was making all theIt has flavor to it combined with the matcha. The matcha flavor is really overpowered by the coffee. A lot of ice in the drink as I poked the top with my straw and couldn't get it in because of the ice. The drinks are served the way milk drinks are served. Not sure if the drinks with foam are served this way and if they are I feel like you can't get the full flavor experience of the foam on a drink if you drink it through the straw. My drink was strong so I can't complain one bit. I came early so there was plenty of parking in this unassuming plaza. I didn't see the place at first and parked. The only reason I found it was because the side doors were wide open. The space is beautifully decorated and a breath of fresh air to the many coffee shops that open with a white and bare aesthetic. I have been passing this place on the way to Blossom Hill Road and decided to stop by to try out the tea. This place is super close to my house so I decided to try it out. It's located in a secluded plaza near commercial buildings. I tried the Banana Coffee, which has Viet coffee as its base. You can definitely taste the strong Vietnamese coffee beans, the taste is electric and so is the caffeine. The bitterness did not overpower the Banana cream top which was a great balance. For those who like viet coffee and want some extra flavor to it, I would recommend any of their coffees here. There is plenty of seating inside and it's very well designed. I actually prefer the darker aesthetic and moodier vibe here. You order on the giant IPad screen, and the baristas do ask if you need any adjustments to your drink afterwards. This might be my new go to coffee shop for now on. I've been searching for a new banana latte ever since snow time stopped making it for the season. I've tried other banana lattes but they did not hit the same until I tried Insomnibar. Most places I've been to barely had any banana flavor, it was too overpowered by the coffee. But here, you can actually taste the banana with a good balance of the coffee. The strawberry matcha was sweet! As a person who does not like overpowering, bitter matcha, this is perfect. The foam on both drinks were so creamy and light, it tied the drinks together very well. We went during the afternoon which wasn't as crowded and the vibes were very chill. Decided to try a new coffee spot on DoorDash and ordered the banana coffee along with their honeycomb phin drip latte. I was surprised to see a silver ring around my cup. At first, I honestly thought it was some fancy new feature to keep my drink cold, lol. I called and spoke with someone named Andy, who let me know the ring was actually from their sealing machine. No worries though! My drink wasn't affected at all. It was just sitting around the cup like a little coaster or cup coozie and probably got stuck with the drink label. I offered to bring it back and was greeted by the sweetest staff. Since I was already there, I took the chance to check the place out and ordered a few more items to try with my littles. Apparently their taro items use pre-mixed taro so sweetness can't be adjusted, tho the gal did offer to put more milk in. I didn't want the taro flavor watered down so I declined. Definitely too sweet (and extremely purple). Would be nice if their menu clearly stated up front which drinks are customizable.
