    Thai tea toast

I've been wanting to try this place once I heard they were going to open soon. Place is pretty small inside, there's some extra seatings outside. Would suggest to go during opening or anytime before dinner. My partner and I got the Mango Tango and a Thai tea toast. Our server informed us the toast would take around 10-15 minutes, came out fairly quick. The Mango tango was nice and sweet. The Thai tea toast taste like a real thai tea, you can taste the bitterness in the tea which we like. Sidenote, love whoever's playlist it was when we went, all second gen kpop throwback songs :^)

Perfect place to grab dessert after a seafood dinner. The group wanted a mango sticky rice and the mango tango did not disappoint. Some may want more rice, however I enjoyed the milk snow part with the mango puree as it was very refreshing. Wish there was more mango puree though as it really added lots of flavor to the ice cream. The Thai Tea Toast gave a different vibe to the desserts as it was warm, but it was also very delicious. When we went, it was happy hour on the drinks or something so we got a bunch of drinks 20% off. The favorite being the black sugar latte, really hits the sweetness if you like your coffee on the sweeter side. The inside is small, but there's outdoor seating that was great with the warm weather. It does get busy and we had to wait like 10-15 minutes but we got lucky as people were leaving when we showed up ~9pm. The staff is nice. After paying, there is a coupon that's for 20% the next visit so be on the lookout. Overall, the desserts are fantastic and you should go check them out!

I love Naya, so I was so exciting when they finally opened in San Jose in the Vietnam Town plaza!! We got the Black Thai Tea Crepe and it was so good, just like in SF. The sweetness level Is just right and eating the crepe with the Thai tea cream is chef kiss. We also tried their Mango Bingsu and it was so refreshing and yummy. The shaved ice + mango + sticky rice is such a perfect combo, I would definitely get it again. The reason why I knocked off one star is because the inside is so small. I don't know if I'm seeing things, but I felt their SF location is bigger than here for some reason. It felt very cramped with only a few seats inside. I heard they had more outdoor seating which is great, but I personally think they should have made the inside bigger in the first place. I would definitely come back since I love Naya and it's pretty close to me, but I'll probably have to go during their slow hours

First time trying Naya, and we ordered the Mango Tango and a Thai tea. We absolutely loved the Mango Tango! The sticky rice had the perfect amount of sweetness, and the mango was fresh, juicy, and sweet. The Thai tea was also good, although it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed and there was a wait, but luckily tables cleared quickly and we were seated within 5 minutes. Overall, we would definitely come back to try other items on the menu. Our only wish is that the Mango Tango came with a larger portion of sticky rice. As for the service, we understand it was very busy, but we had to ask for both the check and silverware. While the silverware was brought promptly, we were never given napkins. Despite that, we enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning.

So happy we have a NaYa Dessert Cafe in Vietnam town! Their desserts are so good and unique!   My friend and I got their salted egg custard toasted and it was SOOOO GOOD! Perfect salted egg sweet flavor and lots of salted egg custard in the toast. It comes with lots of pieces of smaller toast in a bigger toast encasing. I love that they have 2 scoops of ice cream that pairs so well with the custard. The bits of strawberries also add a nice freshness to balance how heavy everything else is.   The shop is a cute small place with indoor and outdoor seating and I love the cute interior. I totally recommend coming here! I got here around 7:30pm on a Wednesday and indoor seating was available right away. It started to get super busy around 8pm.

I went on a Sunday night around 10PM and we were told there would be a 30min wait for a table. There isn't an online queue or phone number system for the waitlist. Just your good o pen and paper. We decided to order take out instead of waiting. Which ended up taking around 40min for our food to come out. I was a little disappointed at the brick toast as I felt it was a little dry and had better ones before in the past. However the shaved ice was a nice texture (similar to ice cream) .

Really good shaved ice and snow. It's a small place with seating inside and out. Service is friendly and quick. When we went they were only doing desserts, so no savory item yet. I guess they're still in their soft open? They were very busy but we got seated after a short wait. Be sure to put your name down on the signup sheet by the door. Their shaved ice had a very creamy texture. Different than many other places. The fruit flavor from the melon was good. Lots of melon flavor! Their mango tango with the mango shaved ice and mango sticky rice was a nice combo of something cold and warm. The sticky rice had the perfect chew texture and paired well with the fresh mango. A bit further out for us, but definitely something we'd come back to if we had the chance.

Super cute concept and tasty desserts! We got the black thai tea crepe and it soooo yummy. It wasn't too sweet and had the perfect thai tea flavor. It is a very small location and the inside seating can probably only comfortably accommodate up to 8-10 people. The servers are very nice and helpful if you have any questions. We came during the soft opening so not all the menu items were available. I order the lychee sweet tea which was very refreshing with a distinct lychee taste. Can't wait to come by again to try more :)

NaYa Dessert Cafe was so good! The desserts were beautiful, refreshing, and perfect for sharing. We tried the Mango Tango, the Kaya Toasted with pandan kaya and ice cream, and the crepe dessert with banana and ice cream. Everything looked amazing and tasted just as good. The Mango Tango was my favorite -- fresh mango, shaved ice, sticky rice, and mango sauce. So refreshing! The Kaya Toasted was rich and indulgent, and the crepe was light, sweet, and a perfect ending. Just a heads up, the wait can be long and the inside space is small. There are more seats outside, which helps. The servers were okay, but it was also very busy, so I understand. Overall, the desserts were worth the wait!

A very cute and yummy new addition to SJ's dessert scene with an array of Asian flavors and late night hours! Came during their soft opening on a weekday evening around 9pm and it was packed! They had a waitlist to sign up on upon arrival and we were seated outside rather quickly. Great date spot, but the small interior and limited seating could make for long wait times for bigger groups. The Thai Tea Toast was delicious with a pretty presentation! The toast was perfectly sweet, buttery, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The Thai tea ice cream and sauce weren't too sweet either, which balanced out the toast. Oreo crumbs added a nice texture. It was super filling for 2. We ended up waiting a while for our check and just went inside to pay. They seemed a bit understaffed considering how popular and busy they are, but our waiter was incredibly helpful and friendly nonetheless. Some growing pains, which I'm hopeful they will iron out with time. I'm eager to come back to try their bingsu (and use the 20% off my next visit from my receipt)!

We were searching for some dessert nearby and the mango tango bingsu caught our eye! This new Naya Dessert Cafe is in soft opening and in the busiest shopping center ever. We searched for parking for a while! It's a pretty small shop too but they do have some outdoor seating. It looked crazy busy but they have a waitlist to put your name down hanging at the door so that was nice to be able to see how many were actually ahead of us. Even for a Saturday evening, we didn't have to wait very long at all- maybe 10 mins max! Their staff were very efficient and they were turning tables over very quickly, ready to take orders, bring waters, clean up dishes, and then bring checks right away. They're definitely doing it right! The mango tango bingsu was so delicious. The consistency of their milk snow was so good! And overall the dish wasn't too sweet at all. The sticky rice was just the right amount and the mangoes were so ripe and sweet. We also had the Ferrero Crepe. You get to pick two types of ice cream with it. It's a huge plate so definitely want to share that one, whereas I could probably enjoy the whole bingsu myself if I really wanted to. My only complaint is the pricing. It's a little bit off - both of our dishes were $17.99 each. This is fair for the bingsu in my opinion because of the work it takes for the snow and the various ingredients and plating. However the crepe is just the crepe pancake itself with some ice cream, fruits, and chocolate, so I thought it should have been priced lower.

Even though the store is small, it is very aesthetic on the inside. The service was quick (but you can tell that the server is a little bit frazzled -- I chalk it up to the store being really busy). Every table is usually taken because they are just *that* popular. The mango tango was a 9/10. The mango was very sweet. The mango sauce did not taste very artificial to me. The sticky rice was a nice surprise because it was WAY better than I had expected. The shave ice itself was very creamy and super soft. The only thing is that I wish that the serving for the mango sauce was larger. If you go during the soft opening, they give you a receipt, make sure you hold onto it because at the bottom of the bill is a 20% off discount for your NEXT visit.

I love that the rice paper itself was flavorful, savory, spicy, shrimpy and garlicky. The tamarind sauce on the side was sweet and tangy. I like to pour it over the rice paper so it softened up. I also like the toppings they added for the mixed combo rice paper, nice blend of texture and flavors from jerky, pork rinds, mango, and egg. My personal favorite topping was the Vietnamese coriander, perfect to pair with the rice paper. I highly recommend the combo mixed rice paper. I also got their milk tea & coconut kumquat to try & tbh they were super disappointing. The milk tea & coconut kumquat were unbearably sweet, I couldn't even get to half of the cups. For the milk tea, the tea scent didn't pulled through at all. I was basically sipping on burnt sugary milk. Overall, giving this place 3/5 star because they need to improve their drinks.
