These guys are amazing! I had a emergency main sewer line repair that had to be done ASAP for my rental property. They brought out 6 guys to knock this crazy job out in a day in half. If anyone owns property made before the 1980's then your main sewer lines that are cast iron most likely has now turned to clay. If you have trees the roots are going to attack the clay pipes & clog the main sewer line. These guys came out like they have done a lot of these before & just got it done. Now we don't have to worry about the main sewer line from tree roots ever. I've hired Instant Plumbing on countless jobs for close to 10 years now. Keep in mind plumbing work is a nasty hard job. Warning Do not use this company, especially Jose, it is a ripe off. He took advantage of my panic of the leak, charged me $150 to go under the house, then he told me to cap the leaking line, will cost another $500 because of the difficulty. It only took him less than 10 minutes to cap. I was out of $650. Never will use this company, it is not a honest business, people make honest living by doing decent work, and charge reasonable amount but definitely not this company. Beware, beware, avoid bad people. Don't bring them to your home. I was so glad I didn't had them broke my patio concrete to repair it for $1500. ( original quote was $1800) It would be a disaster. I did text Raul, the owner of the company to voice my dissatisfaction on 5/5 but there was no reply. The information that I provided was correct. Jose went under the house to check the leak for $150, once he was under the house, he knew what pipe was leaking; then he spent less than an hour to see where the water line is in the back yard, then gave me the estate price of $650 to cap the leak or $1800 to repair without put concrete back. the estimate should be no charge. I don't know how Raul calculate the whole day? I have witnesses for the time line. This case is referred to the company that referred me to Instant Plumbing, their management is reviewing the case. Let's the professional of the field make the judgement. I usually don't make reviews as the work I'm expecting to have done is what I expect. But in this case, Instant Plumbing far exceeds what I expected. I have some upcoming bathroom remodeling coming and I wanted to have the sewer pipe examined by video so I wouldn't have any surprises. Recently I had a neighbor across the street that had major sewer problems necessitating having to have workmen in and out of her house for three weeks until it was properly repaired. Anyway I called Instant Plumbing and one of their plumbers called back within a couple of hours and quoted me the lowest price for a video inspection. We set the appointment up for the same day. They came and did the inspection. When they found a problem, they came to me with the bad news. They showed me a sizable rusted out hole in the bottom of the cast iron pipe which was located in the middle of the master bedroom. The video was convincing to me, so they gave me a quote and asked me when I wanted it done. I said as soon as possible. They said they probably would have it done in a day. The very next morning at 8:00 AM they had three trucks with their crews. They jack-hammered the slab floor, dug four feet down & located the pipe. They sawed off the pipe at the entrance of the bathroom. Luckily the pipe was still intact at that point. They dug under the front foundation into the planter & past to the clay pipe. They replaced 13' of damages pipe with a PCV pipe with a two way clean out to the clay pipe. They refilled the trench, tamped it down, and poured a quick drying cement. All the carpeting was re-laid & the furniture replaced and the plants replanted in the planter. The whole job was completed in less than six hours. I was so impressed with their efficacy and professionalism. Would I recommend them to family and friends? Absolutely. Thank you Instant Plumbing. Ended up calling instant plumbing at 7:00 am and they were on site at 7:30. They knocked out the clog and were on their way in less than a half an out. I would not recommend this company. Their dispatch team is rude and the tech they sent out didn't fix the issue. I had to have the come 3 different times and the leak still happened. Joesph was our tech and I hate to put someone on blast but I they left me no option. I would recommend going to a plumbing company with good reviews and a staff who cares. Recently I had a pin hole leak in my copper pipe. My neighbor recommended Instant Plumbing. Several months back he needed a plumber and he told me that they did a good job and was fair on the price. So I called about noon, Ralph the plumber said he could be there about 2 PM if he can come sooner he will call me. He called and said he was on his way and would be there at 1:15. Ralph was very likeable, they cut out the bad area of copper pipe and replaced it with new copper pipe. This was located under the crawl space. The company showed up early without notice, tried to change the price that was quoted, and lastly rudely yelled at me saying it was my fault. Their person who quotes is putting the blame on us for not detailing the project (when it is their job to ask those questions) I understand sometimes miscommunication happens, but the approach after was unacceptable. I have never been treated so poorly by a company. To compound the issue, I felt that two plumbers for installing a sink faucet was unnecessary and their aggressive nature made it seem threatening added by the yelling and aggressive nature of the phone operator. If i was the owner of this company I would take a serious look at my staff and the service protocols in place. AGAIN DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! UPDATE after Raul B comment below - The appointment was set for Tuesday and rescheduled to today at 9am (plumber showed up at 8:10am - no call to let me or my father know of the early arrival). I clearly state I understand the misunderstanding on the price quote and was willing to discuss the price until you're employees rudely said there is no discussion and I said if that is the case, we don't need any work done. I never slammed the door in their face or told them to leave (they were already outside calling you about the confusion and I asked them about it). While they were leaving I was able to get video of the burnout they did. After that my mother attempted to call you, and you hung up on her and blocked the number. So I called on my number and calmly asked what had happened and you rudely tried to interrupt me when I was just trying to discuss the items with you. You hung up on me as well. I politely texted you that you're company left their equipment and offered to deliver it personally to your business address. You then said you would come by yourself to retrieve it and I felt unsafe by you and your company. I had a leaking water pipe and Instant Plumbing was quick to respond on a Saturday. Raul gave me a quote of $725 to do the repair. I asked for a breakdown of materials and labor and Raul said "what you're really paying for are our techniques and experience." This answer made me skeptical so I made a few more calls and ended up paying only $200 to have a different plumber do the repair. That's a 75% discount, imagine that! Instant Plumbing charged me $85 for the service call which seemed reasonable but the price I was given to do the repair was extremely high and not justified when I asked for a breakdown of materials and labor. You're basically paying them $85 so they can try to take advantage of the situation and make a fool out of you. I'll give them one star for their quick response on a weekend, but mostly because yelp doesn't allow zero or negative stars, but the four stars they didn't receive are for the price gouging attempt (a.k.a. "ripping someone off"). You may want to use my experience as a reason to shop around, read yelp reviews, and make sure you get a fair price. Good luck to you. read more

I hired Instant plumbing to install a clean-out in my 1950's home. They arrived promptly, were willing to negotiate a fair price, and completed the work. The cost for a new clean-out was $800, about the same as competitors. That same day, I had an issue with a clogged shower at a rental property. I was assured they would leave the completed job and go to the other property to snake the shower drain for an additional $80. Before arriving at the other property they received a call for another job that paid more. Instead of arriving as promised, they started heading out to the other job without notice. After some forceful convincing they returned to the second job and completed it as promised at the agreed upon rate. A separate issue occurred at the rental property about 6 months later. I arrived at the property to inspect the issue and noticed that the line was clogged, however, the underside of the sink was dry and there was no leaking. I attempted to clear the line myself but was unsuccessful. Due to their good work in the past, I overlooked there previous lack of professionalism and called again. They agreed to arrive at a specific time and did so as promised. Upon arrival, Juan greeted my renter who is a single woman. Instead of clearing the sink as promised for $80 he stated there was a second "leak" coming from the garbage disposal. My renter called me and stated Juan wanted an additional $160 to fix the leak. I declined the fix because I had been there 2 days prior and knew that the underside of the sink was completely dry upon inspection. I declined the additional work and simply requested he complete the job for which he had been hired. Unfortunately, he had been called with a more lucrative job while on site and when I refused to pay for work that did not need to be completed, he left the job without finishing the original work. I have never written a negative yelp review because I have never had reason to do so. It is clear that this specific plumber (and perhaps this company) are unprofessional and unethical. They are apparently looking for the most expensive job and even when they are out on site they are continuing to prioritize the best payout. I will never use this company again and thought that the general public should know. Buyer beware! read more

Watch out, they are idiot plumbers. We happened to have 2 new valve stems on hand and asked him to put them on our Master bathtub. Unbeknownst to us, the valves were both right side valves. Now both handles turn in the same direction. Any decent plumber would let you know this and ask if you would like them to make it work right and left, like it should. Appointment was for them to arrive between 3:30 and 4:00 that afternoon. At 4:15 I called to see what was going on since nobody had shown up or called. I was told that he would check into it and give me a call back right away. 4:45 and no response so I called and canceled since I wasn't going to wait around any longer for a no show. A few days later I received a call from the person who normally handles calls with a very sincere apology and an explanation. Evidently she was out for some reason that day and the person who handled the phones should not have been. I feel that if she had been at the helm that day things would have been much better. They were friendly, clean and nice to work with. They had the right tools to do the job. They did more to clear a drain as far as they could reach. They even listened to the water flow when they were done and were not satisfied that it was quite right. They went on and did more work than anyone else would have done.
