There is a non working ATM machine. Parking is tricky here. There is a free parking lot but it serves many businesses so it might be hard to get a free spot. My good friend Randy recommended this salon. He said this is his go-to spot, so I said I'll consider it. Background: I pride myself on my nails, have had only 2 trusted nail salons in my entire life: yes true. I went to one nail salon for over 15 years, until I moved. It took me about a year until I found another salon I liked which I frequented for 6 years. Moved again! Ugh right?! So long story short: I'm not the casual wanderer who will go just about anywhere for my nails. I pay attention to details. If the place is loud, smelly, dirty, a lot of nonsense, like gossip and attitude, I won't return unless it's absolutely necessary which I usually regret. In other words, I'm loyal to the bone with my nail salon and like nails done a certain way. Very picky as my mom calls it (lol). Hence upon recommendation I ventured here because let's face it, COVID has changed everything. My regular nail girl retired and her sister moved to OC. So enthusiasm and desperation led me here (my nails looked awful ). The woman on the phone was very accommodating. I told her I was going to Disney Symphony Hall for a concert at 5pm, my nails need help. I called at 12 and although booked, they took me at 1pm. I even ran 15 minutes late due to construction traffic and they still accommodated me right away! I got a mani/pedi, with gel on hands, along with callus treatment and paraffin for my feet. Loved the treatment! My feet felt like a baby's butt! I noticed the space is very clean, everyone is spread out, their tools are sanitised and clean as well (they opened the packages in front me), they wear gloves, masks, and are very considerate towards everyone. The prices are also reasonable as well. I spend $72 (not including tip) and feel very satisfied with the outcome. If you go, ask for Tracey or Karen. They'll hook you up. Im definitely feeling this place and will surely return again. Hoping this place will be my new nail salon moving forward. We will see ... read more

Not happy. I got my nails done by the male that works there. He didn't ask me how long/short or even the shape. I caught it too late and ended up with the shortest nails I've ever had. So short that they actually hurt. Oh AND they chipped with FIVE days. A gel manicure that chips after 5 days?! I will not come back. If I had the time or patience I'd go back and ask them to redo it. Basically, don't go here and if you do make sure you do NOT get your nails done by the man that works there. read more

I have been to this place many times on and off throughout the years and have always had a good experience. I don't live in the neighborhood anymore so I don't come as often but when I'm here, I like to come in for a pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure today was nice but just handed me one of those laminated things that had the different options for a pedicure. I picked the second option for $36 because it included a lot of stuff including a 5 minute foot massage which I realize she never even did. When I went to pay she says $45! What the hell? I told her the thing she gave me said $36 and she brought over a different one that said $45. She flipped over the other side that said $36 that was for a manicure. This was a different laminated thing list than I hadn't seen before but I absolutely know it said $36 and not wanting to make a fuss, I didn't tell her to go look for it. She kept apologizing because she could tell I was upset but did not honor the $36. I still tipped 20% because I know these ladies work hard but I will not be returning. These are some really shady business practices they have going on here and I am very disappointed. read more

This is my second visit (i made an appointment this time) and it won't be my last. I randomly walked into this salon and got an incredible french gel manicure last time i was here. It was so good, even straight men were complimenting me out of nowhere on my "classy nails" afterwards and I became annoyed at myself for not remembering the name of the woman who did it. One of the reasons i give this place props because they keep my nails long and healthy. Lily takes her time, gently removing the gel from my nails before moving forward with the manicure. She puts up with my neurotic requests for adjustments with the french tips and Yvonne made me rethink every foot massage i ever turned down during a pedicure (not to mention doing a fantastic job on my holiday red pedicure). Booking was a breeze over the phone through Tracy and they were running on time, waiting for me with a phone charging cord to boot. I WILL be back, ladies. Sitting in the chair as I write this. I used to come here a few years ago- they were good for a while but then started doing lazy work so I switched shops. Today I was in a crunch and in the area so I decided to stop by. When I first got in, an older woman led me to a chair without a word and turned on the water. It was hot, I asked her to turn it down. She gave me a death glare and did it. That's fine, I'm not here to find my future bridesmaids- as long as they do good work that's really all that matters. They didn't. Mani- I asked for the simplest mani. No polish, just one black nail on on the center of each nail. (Pic referenced.) They tried to upsell me and charge me extra for the dots even though there's no all over polish, not even clear. Then the lady is not paying attention to what she's doing, and the dots on a few fingers are not the same size or not centered. I ask her to fix it. She gives me the death glare- I blankly stare back. She redoes one nail and the dot is now on the other side of the nail. I ask her to redo a couple of nails. Death glare again. PEOPLE- ITS A DOT. She then says she doesn't want to do the design and she is just going to do an all over color. What? No. I tell her I dont want all over color and she keeps fighting me on it. You would think I'm asking for a replica of Van Gogh's Starry night. Anyways they're all talking to each other and I can tell it's about me as they're all laughing. Like i said- not here to meet my future bridesmaids I could honestly care less, I just want my money's worth. The dots are still uneven but not as bad, totally able to deal with it. Their attitudes are the worst part. Will absolutely not be back. Save your money. A DOT PEOPLE. read more

I came in for the $25 mani/pedi, a price that is not an easy find in West Hollywood. The free parking underneath was also a plus. The space is brand new and modern with the nice massage pedicure chairs, new polishes and that spanking new feeling all about. It's very clean, which is important for a nail salon. I'm usually quite forgiving of bad service when I try new places. I go with low expectations trying a nail salon for the first time. I chose this place because it was close to where I was and had pretty good reviews on Yelp. I'm beyond disappointed. The first ten minutes was amazing. Staff was nice, cute interior decor, comfy chairs and lots of colors to choose from! I decided to get a mani pedi. I had gel on my toes and they didn't charge me for removal which is rare to find in nail salons these days ($5 take off gel charge). However, the lady who did my nails was so careless in tripping my cuticles and filing my nails. The coat was fine, but I could just tell it was an "express" manicure. The pedicure went smoothly UNTIL we finished and I was trying to look for the drying station. One of the ladies just grabbed the spray fix and said they don't have drying machines. I HAD WET NAILS! What am I supposed to do? Just be really careful and wait to blow dry them myself when I get home? The worst part is saved for last. It was $33 total for a mani pedi which is cheaper than most. She asked how much I would like to tip and I said $5 which was around 18%. She looked at me astonished. I could just tell she was judging me for not tipping higher. After the awful look, she said "only $5?" I had never been so disrespected and judged for spending my money. I'm a college student and usually tip 15% if the service was mediocre. I do not recommend this place. I've only gone three times. The first time was okay. The second time was also okay. The last time I went for a fill I told her to please keep my nails square. The woman put so much polish on that you can see the bumps in the policy. It was so thick. My thumb nail came off the next morning. I called and the gentle man said the owner would call me back. I've never complained. But when you spend 92 dollars for pedi and mani, you expect it to be good My nails ended up being coffin/oval shape.
