International Termite was recommended to me by a friend who is a realtor. I called and they came out to give me an estimate. For the scope of work being quoted, I felt I was given a fair price for fumigation and the repair of a window sill and the replacement of a side garage door. The gentleman they sent to do the repairs prior to the tenting did a great job. Royalty Fumigation was subcontracted to do the actual tenting. They arrived earlier than scheduled on Friday (they called to be sure it was ok) and got to work. Robert was the foreman and was very patient with me. He answered all of my questions and even found some things I forgot to remove. His crew was quick and efficient. I appreciated their use of lockout/tag out locks on the doors, which helped keep my home secure. The crew was back earlier than expected on Monday morning and were once again quick and efficient getting the tents off. They were very careful with my patio, just like I asked. They also made sure to replace fence boards that they had removed to fit the tents. My yard is once again secured for my dogs. International even took care of scheduling the gas company to come and turn the gas off and on, which was one less thing for me worry about. All in all, my experience with International Termite was very positive. This is not something that anybody likes to have done but it is necessary. We recently had our original hardwood floors redone and did not want the beautiful floors to be damaged by those pesky termites. I saw that someone on the Nextdoor App recommended this company and I checked them out on Yelp and saw mostly positive reviews so I decided to book an appointment for an estimate. A great first impression was made when I contacted their office and I believe I spoke to Julie and set up an appointment for that same week. Roger was the inspector and came out to look at our house and my wife said he was a pleasure to deal with and came off as knowledgeable and informative. We received what we considered to be a more than reasonable quote and had no trouble booking a date for the next week to get it done. We were asked to pay half up front and the remainder upon completion. We had to be out of the house for 2.5 days and it is a pain to get the house prepared and to find somewhere to stay for 2 nights, but the company was great about communicating and made the process as painless as possible. Junior, the head of the fumigation team, also did a superb job. *Bottom line is if you want a good service at a good price...give them a call...you won't regret it! read more

Now I'm selling my house and buyer sent their own termite company and found termites and I had to give seller a 2k credit, even though I have a 2 year warranty with International Termite. International termite dispatched the same inspector who didn't even go in the attic or under the house, very poor service and very upset with this company. I just wanted to thank you, James specifically, for coming out to inspect and quote my property for termites. The walk through for estimate was done thoroughly- he took me around the property to show we were I had dry rot, fungus, past and possible present termite damage. I told him I would be getting a new roof and he recommend I have all the damaged wood replaced with the re-roof- not only did he educate me on what was truly going on with my property he also saved me money because I wont be needing to tent with our re-roof project. This company was referred by my Real Estate Agent in the selling of my home. This company did the inspection, wood replacements/repairs followed by tenting. One crew did the repairs and left a mess & paint splatters. We let agent know, received sorries. They need to clean up better. Another crew did the tenting. IDK if same people put tent in place than those that removed the tent. They were not careful about the planters, many broken plants, smashed bushes as though they were trampled upon. Again left a mess of broken plants on front lawn, dirt & leaves left trailed inside the house, broken planter decorations, pieces of tape. We did this with another company in 2009, did a great job, no complaints. Be aware this company's crews don't care about the mess & your property. TY read more

I only give it two stars because the gentleman who did the inspection was very cordial. I was forced by my relocation company to use this company for the inspection. I figured since they did the inspection, I would just schedule the treatment with them so I didn't have to do another inspection. The first available treatment time was two weeks out which was fine because it worked within my timeline. A couple days prior, I called to confirm the time when they told me they couldn't find my appointment. They told me they didn't have any more appointments available for a while. Then they had the nerve to make it seem like they were doing me a favor by "trying to squeeze me in on a weekend." How do you lose an appointment? I called a few other termite companies and all of them were available within the next couple days... I would not recommend International Termite. read more

Great company! I was extremely stressed having to relocate with 2 dogs, but International Termite made it "pain free"! They were very detailed in their instructions and I was in & out in 2 nights/3 days. They even made all the arrangements with the Gas Company. The fumigation team was outstanding! They walked the entire house and made sure everything was bagged correctly. They were very trust-worthy and knowledgeable! On take-down day - they were very fast and professional! James McCall...what a great guy! I put out a message on next Door about this vanity I bought made from reclaimed wood which was sitting on the side of my house while I stained and whitewashed it. About a week ago I noticed a termite with wings on it and then another with its body halfway through a tiny hole. I freaked. I'm not bringing this termite infested vanity into my new remodeled master bedroom no matter how cool it looks. James responded to my post on Next Door and gave me his number. I was hoping he might be tenting a house in my area and I could pay to just leave it in the owner's garage with their consent, of course. I had called a lot of exterminators and most did not do furniture or wanted $500 which is ridiculous. I just wanted piece of mind. James said he would be over at 9 am the next morning. I couldn't believe it...ok. He said he just wanted to see it for himself though I had sent a few pictures. He was prompt but I was still in the shower. Sorry man! After looking at it a few minutes he was able to tell me that the termites infested my vanity while it had been sitting out there on my side yard and weren't from Mexico where it was manufactured. I asked Columbo how he knew that, and he pointed to some clean piles of sawdust and explained the whole termite mating-life cycle to me and that the frass (sp?) I was looking at was fresh. I brought out some spray poison I had bought to spot treat and he showed me how to treat all the little holes we found. Even showed me how to take the drawer out...didn't know there was a release on the side. I love learning stuff like that. James wasn't even going to charge me anything but I had to tip him something for his time and driving out here. I would highly recommend James and his company to anyone. It's like going to the dentist: not always a pleasant process, but necessary. International Termite made it pretty bearable. James was the person I coordinated with. He was very helpful and responsive although I had sometimes the feeling he had a lot of gigs to juggle, so he sometimes got mixed up with what we had discussed. I didn't deal much with their back office. I had the tenting done and the planning and coordination worked pretty seamlessly. However, I was told I had to make a down payment and only with a check I wouldn't have to pay an extra fee. Not too convenient. When they came and started the process, I watched some of it through remote video. I noticed a guy banging his ladder into inside walls and doors and he didn't care. Nobody put on booties on my light carpet, but fortunately, they didn't leave any stains. From what I figured out, the actual tenting is outsourced to another company and when I sent James the video, he noted that these guys were always super busy. (That said, shouldn't they still care about being careful and doing a good job?!) I was told the office would call me about this, but they didn't. For 1-2 days afterwards, my eyes were burning a little bit, but that's apparently not too unusual due to residual tear gas. I also had them do a number of wood/damage repairs and the guys that came did a good job, including painting. For settling the final bill, they "waived" the extra credit card fee. My exterminator gave me this company's name, and a person to contact: James McCall 714-606-0957. I made an appointment for 10 am on May 28, 2015. At 10:08 I got a call from James advising me he was running late. I envisioned hours, but no, he would be at my house at 10:30! No 2 hour window for him. I was impressed! James turned out to be one of the kindest people I have ever had contact with. He was concerned with the problems I had on my partially wood patio. However, he felt he was not the person to do the repairs, and gave me the name of someone he trusted to do it. As he was leaving I realized the wood patio door was open, and I couldn't close it. I called out to James, and he came back from his car, and tried to fix it, but didn't have the correct tools. He did get it closed, but it took a lot of physical strength. After all his time, he didn't even charge me for the visit. I highly recommend James McCall! read more

I would never recommend using this termite company to anyone. Considering the amount of money this company was paid, they could have handled the job much better. Multiple issues, poor quality work, and poor customer service. They tented the house and then performed some repairs. The tenting went ok, I don't have much feedback for that part. The repairs were really bad. They scrapped some back patio railings and didnt bother to pull off/ uninstall the various hardware mounted. We had a birdfeeder and bottle opener mounted that got tossed because they didnt spend 2 minutes unscrewing them and setting them aside. They were not able to recover the hardware they threw out. Re: the paint job. They applied only primer. Not sure what the industry standard is. But even still, they missed multiple locations and left bare non-primered wood in multiple locations. The group of guys doing the repair work didn't pay attention to what they were doing, and the quality of work was poor. This group included Roger personally as he was on site for more than one day. After they left I had to primer multiple locations. When I called to address my issues, Roger had an excuse for every issue. He said he would come back to finish/ correct the work he didnt complete, but I never heard from him again. Attempts to contact Roger later went unreturned. read more

Roger returned before the fumigation and explained the process to us in detail and gave us the fumigation bags. After the fumigation, International Termite returned to complete the wood repairs and the work was done professionally. We were impressed. The wood work was also included in the estimate. They took a long time to send an estimate and didn't know how to make a plan for simple wood rot repair. Forget them. There are many other companies out there. read more

I thought I had termites in the house so I called to schedule an appointment. I talked to James and we scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. He called a day before to confirm. When he came to the house he inspected it and told us we didn't have termites, but large ants that come out at this time of the year. He was very thorough, polite, and knowledgeable. This review is for a termite inspection and subsequent "tenting" and repairs. James (inspector/specialist) was great and has been in the business for a long time, so he knows pests. He also offered a price discount and single-handedly earned 2 of the stars for the company. The company also has great office staff; they follow up many times and are on top of things. They earned the other star for the company. But you have to put your money where your mouth is... and the company used for the tenting didn't come through (Royalty). 1. The crew that did the tenting could have avoided killing some of the plants and leaving a mess behind in the yard. The company sent a field supervisor to assess/remedy the situation, but he really didn't have anything to say or offer any solutions. Granted, he did listen to me blow off some steam (politely) but still no real solution. 2. I was given the impression that some of the wood that was damaged by the termites would be replaced. It was not; instead, it appears some wood putty was used to cover up obvious holes. Hopefully the gas that killed some of the plants also killed all the termites! Overall, I cannot recommend the workmanship of this company. read more

Someone(s) breaks in with absolutely no evidence of how they did it thru these "locked doors" as IT says they were. It was an inside job. Laptops, TV's..... Gone, but they say couldn't be their guys.
